Ive been to Boss Up Braiding many times already so this review isnt for one appointment but many appointments I had with this company. Every time I come out looking and feeling refreshed, clean and beautiful. The braids are never too tight that it damages my hair or too loose that it doesnt hold together. The hair washing is always relaxing and efficient. I prefer they wash my hair than myself because I love the products they use and how thorough they are. I try to do new hairstyles every now and then so I know they have a large selection of styles available plus you can always ask if you want the style a certain way. This is my favorite salon and I try not to go anywhere else unless I have no choice due to last minute plans but thats on me. Anyways, Ill always go back as long as I live close enough!

I came today and had my hair braided by Shay, she was wonderful! I walked in and felt so comfortable and was treated with exceptional service by every person there! Very professional classy environment. I had fun and enjoyed the process of getting my hair cleaned, untangled, and braided. I love this place and I am a forever customer to this family business! Been going here for nearly two years. Knotless Braids, sleek ponytails, tribal braids, silk presses and trims - they are always top notch. Confession: Im a hair snob from Atlanta, so when I found them I was super relieved. Very professional and friendly, down to earth team. The salon is clean.

First, I dont write reviews, but I wanted to write this one! Second, I need more than five stars for Shay and her staff at Boss up Braiding. I wanted to do braids for so long and tried them a few years ago with another salon, and it was a total failure:My scalp was inflamed, and I couldnt stop the itching.My scalp started to break out in scabs.My braids began to fall out after a week.I messaged Shay and told her my concerns, and she assured me that she would take care of me and I would have a better experience than I had. So I went in for my 1st service creative cornrows and was impressed by the time she took to ensure I understood the whole process from step to step. After taking those out, we addressed my scalp issues and devised a plan. I got a set of medium box braids put in and started to do an Anti Dandruff Treatment every two weeks (while the braids were still in), allowing me to keep my braids for five weeks.I was impressed because my scalp sensitivity was finally being addressed, and I had a protective hairstyle that I felt comfortable and beautiful with. I just got Medium Rope Twist put in and booked my subsequent appointments until July. I finally found someone that would listen to me, educate me, consult with me, and help devise a plan to maintain my protective styles and nourish my scalp. So if you are looking for a stylist and a partner in your hair journey, look no further than Shay because she has your back. I am lucky I decided to go with her and her team, and I look forward to where this hair journey will take me.

Shay is definitely a BOSS! I went online to find a black owned hair salon and Google brought me to Boss Up Braiding. Everyone was so nice and so professional. I stepped outside my comfort zone with a new style, Shay and Whitney made sure I left happy. Now Im bringing all my kids to the salon. Keep up the great work
