My family and I have been going to Missy for years! When my husband passed away in 2023, she found the time to support us by attending his celebration of life. She goes above and beyond for her customers, she is an amazing barber and I couldnt be happier with her services. We always find time to catch up and talk while my boys get their haircuts, she gives back to her community and her selection of music always have the kids and I jammin lol. We have been truly blessed that my husband found her years ago while looking for a new barber. Thank you Missy for everything you do. You are truly a one of a kind barber.❤

I have been trying to book an appointment with Missy for years! I randomly went on Booksy to see her availability and was able to get in on her books last minute due to a cancellation. She started my hair promptly and educated me on my service from the wash bowl to the end of my appointment. I loved how passionate she was with cleansing my scalp (my problem area), she also blow dried my hair in smaller sections than I’m used to. (A+) She also used a hot come on my roots then a flat iron throughout my hair to ensure longevity. I was also wrapped and placed under the dryer. (Haven’t had this service in years!) What’s a silk press without a Saran/cling wrap??? I am now planning my next service with Missy and can’t wait to see my hair growth journey with her ❤️** I now see why she is always so booked 😂

I was able to get a next day appointment with Mrs. B and it was one of the best hair appointments Ive ever had. She was so friendly, and fast. And, when I say this silk press is SILKY!!!! Believe me, it is. Thank you Mrs.B, I will be a return/repeat customer.

A very warm, clean and welcoming atmosphere. Missy welcomes everyone who walks through the door regardless of which staff member a client has an appointment with.Shes flexible with her scheduling and will work with you in rare circumstances. Missy knows about her hair products and does a very good job in the styling department. If youre looking for a place to get prepped, I recommend Missy or one of her staff at Shear Tastic.

Missy should be called the “Hair Doctor “ for she truly is an Artist! She has the ability to turn an ugly duckling into a beautiful swan! I’m glad i found her. She is customer service oriented, professional and extremely skilled and knowledgeable . ShearTastic is the Salon for everyone!!

Missy is amazing! My mom and I both got our hair cut by her. My mom has fine hair and Missy did such a great job on it! Plus shes super sweet and so quick! I definitely recommend her and will be going back. The store itself is also very clean.

I had a great experience at this salon! Everyone is so friendly, From the young lady who took my phone call for information on services, right down to the stylist doing my hair. The beautician who did my hair was Benetha and I will definitely be going back to see her. This is my second time seeing Benetha and I have no need to find anyone else. She is knowledgeable, thorough, efficient and took great care of my hair! I was in and out in no time! I have been trying to find a beautician in my area and this is definitely the place! Highly recommend!

Missy has been cutting my hair for years. I’ll never forget my first haircut by her (which was a skin fade) and she did such a good job, I remember telling my wife that Missy just found a new loyal customer. She has maintained that same quality since day 1, which is why I’ll never leave her. Over the years, Missy has been more than the “girl who cuts my hair.” She’s become my friend. She is passionate about her profession and believes in giving back to the community. If you’re new to the area or just looking for someone new, you won’t be disappointed with Missy! Now, she does haircuts for my whole family!

I have 3 and 4 year old mixed race boys with very curly hair. They have never had a hair cut before. Missy was super patient and so good with them. Their hair looks awesome!I also got my hair chopped to a bob to donate to Wigs for Kids. She did an excellent job layering my hair.We will be back for future hair cuts

I won’t go anywhere else to get my hair cut and styled. She does exactly what I want and knows her stuff. She knowledgeable to point where if you want something done and it’s not going to look good on you she will tell you and the reasons to back it up. I appreciate that honesty! Missy is awesome!

I am so glad I took the time to find someone that can deal with curly and ethnic hair. I am from NYC and I am used to top drawer work where stylists can do both caucasion and ethnic hair and I was fortunate to find Missy. My son was blown away at my transformation. I have gone 4 years without a haircut since I moved here because I could not find anyones website that showed a diversity in hair textures...until I found Missy. I laid on the couch watching tv for an hour when I got home, and when I got up, my hair still looked good. I just woke up after 8 hours of sleeping and my hair still looks good. All I have in my hair is mousse I got at Walgreens. Missy, I am so happy. I needed a new me for a new life I am starting and I feel refreshed, confident, happy, and pretty! My son will be going to you as well. Looking forward to seeing you again. Missy, you can turn out some hair! Finally! YAY!!!!!
