    This review will be a little long, but it is well worth reading so please bare with me.two months ago, i posted in our local Calhoun page, on anonymous, because my hair was something i was ashamed of. it didn’t even look like hair anymore, it was just a matted ball of frizz that i didn’t have the heart or energy to do anything with; i quite literally lost all sense of self in it….. SO many of you recommended Tribe beauty bar, specifically Mayci and Emily.today i stepped foot into the salon, after making the most last minute appointment through Emily, and not wanting my anxiety to win. not only was i greeted by Mayci with a smiling face, but the most open arms. throughout my service, which totaled 14 hours, i never once felt like i was ‘just a client’, and despite me writhing in pain from the knots i created myself and begging them to just cut it off, both Mayci and Emily were nothing short of compassionate and patient, preserving my hair and restoring my sense of self with each comb stroke. i was lost in that time frame in the salon, and i felt like i was at home with two friends i had known for years. i truly enjoyed myself the entire day.i have NEVER in my life had this experience at a salon, and it truly made one of the hardest setbacks of my life just fade away with the amount of care and time they put in. i couldn’t put into words how grateful and thankful i am for these ladies, and i will say that i am a lifelong client; i will shout my praises for them from the rooftops as long as there’s people with ears to listen.Mayci and Emily, i left your salon today feeling like a human being, with tears in my eyes and hope in my heart. to some people, it may be ‘just hair’, but to me, it gave me a reason to see my true self again and to break through the barriers of courage. thank you, from the bottom of my heart.(before and after pics soon to come 🫶🏻)

    Emily does an amazing job every time!! First time at the new shop and I felt very comfortable there!! Her and Brooke make you feel at home. I’ve recommended all of my people to Emily and they all love her!

    Emily Harris has a magic touch making you feel extremely special and gives a new meaning to pampering. I would highly recommend her, you wont regret it. Shes helped this thin, fine chemo hair look fuller and stylish too. I really needed this. I definitely feel beautiful, like a new woman.

    Love Emily. Walking into this salon feels like I’m going to hang out with friends. Such a good atmosphere, and I always leave happy with how my hair turns out. Also met Brooke today and she is the sweetest.
