The provided constant education, the amazing and inspiring artists I get to work next to everyday, the vibe, I just love everything about it. My boss Dom is a force and has stood behind me 💯 since the day I made the hardest decision to move salons. The hardest but by far the most gratifying, educational, inspiring choice I have made. I love this salon! Tudy has been my stylist for the last 4 years and I’ve gone blonde back to brunette back to blonde and have now just gone back to brunette. She’s the most professional stylist ever. She has an eye for color and man does she know how to blend those colors. I get compliments every time. Her vision is so unique and will never disappoint! The salon has such an edgy vibe and I am living for it. If you need a great stylist, ask for Tudy!!

Loved Aura Salon & so grateful to Alex for inviting me. She is very knowledgeable about the color and highlights that would look natural and she cuts my hair the way I ask and communicated with me throughout the process and haircut to make sure I would be happy with it. Alex was so kind and caring and even brought me a blanket when I was cold . She was happy to blow dry my hair too and curled the ends, so I felt amazing and my hair looked gorgeous when I left the salon. It was a very relaxing enjoyable appointment with Alex and the salon is unpretentious and comfortable, nice music and vibe . The employees are very welcoming and friendly. Today was my first visit at salon Aura. It’s a very cute place. Someone had recommended LaTasha to me while I was looking for a new hairdresser. I’m very careful with my hair due to an integrity issue from years of cancer treatments. LaTasha was very knowledgeable and helpful explaining a plan forward during my consultation. My color turned out beautifully and she gave me a fun hairstyle that would suit my hair texture perfectly. At the end of my visit my hair felt softer and looked healthier. I also want to mention that for our first time meeting, LaTasha was very enthusiastic and engaging. I felt like I was chatting and laughing with an old friend. I will definitely be going back.

I got my hair done by Jenna and I LOVE it. We first did a consultation where she took the time to help me figure out what I wanted since I wasn’t too sure. She is very patient and will do whatever it takes to make sure you get your dream hair. The next day during my appointment, she made sure I was comfortable and went over everything we had talked about the day prior to make sure I still wanted everything. After that, she got right to work and I am BLOWN away by her talent! She took my boring faded out color hair and brought it back to life!! I was desperately trying to find a hair salon in Florida that could match the quality and style I was used to in New York, and I finally found it. AURA Hair Salon is FANTASTIC! The front desk gal, PAULA is amazing, always friendly and welcoming. She does her very best to accommodate my schedule. I recently had my hair done by MARIELE and she did a FANTASTIC job! She is an incredibly skilled hairdresser and made sure my hair looked great-just the way I like it!! The moment she held that brush you could tell she knew exactly how to use it!! I typically see SHEILA who is also AMAZING and always delivers PERFECT results. Both of these gals are second-to-none!! They are incredibly talented hair stylist that treat you with kindness and patience. And that matters!! Oh and lets not forget the yummy snacks, coffee and soft drinks they always provide! After all, great hair and great treats go hand in hand! This salon ROCKS! Lucky find for me!! :)

I recently took the plunge to have hair extensions installed and could not be more pleased with how beautiful they turned out. My extensions were installed by LaTasha, who took the time to educate me about caring for my hair extensions, including product recommendations and styling tools. LaTasha was patient with my questions and made my hair goals reality. I have received many compliments about their seamlessness and how beautiful my new hair is. SHEILA!! Omg she saved my life!! I had a wedding coming up and she got me in quick! I had a split dye black and red - the red faded to orange so it was not looking cute!! I told her I need to go all black and this lady did the WORK. Not only did she get me to a rich black color, she provided excellent education about how I should be treating my hair from here on out. The amount of compliments I’ve gotten in the past month is CRAZY. My self esteem has sky rocketed :’) I will absolutely be returning in the near future. Dominique is a true artist. I have had IBE extensions for close to 1 yr. They were breaking and causing me a lot of time going back and forth for reinstalls. I was not prepared for the time and money these extensions cost me. Dominique sat down with me and we discussed all my options. We decided the best direction to go in was purchasing a topper. She picked the right one for my fine hair that matched my overall look. It is so natural looking and so comfortable and light as a feather. I’m happy to be rid of those extensions. I found her on Instagram and saw that she wore her topper in a bob style, which intrigued me because that’s the style I love the most - and somehow there’s this false idea that everyone wants a topper that’s super long, bouncy, and curly.I followed Dom and Aura on social media before taking the plunge and contacting them to order a topper - even though I’m in the midwest and they’re in Florida! This woman understands wearing “helper hair.” I think the fact that she wears a topper gives her a huge advantage because she knows exactly what the struggles are, what works best, etc. I felt totally comfortable ordering a topper because I felt confident that Dom understood what I wanted.When my topper arrived, it was truly perfect (even though Dom had only seen me over FaceTime!). The color matched my hair. The cut was PERFECTION. It is not easy to cut a bob really well and Dom is a master. I was able to clip it into my hair and go without any alterations or changes. I really love it. It’s the hair I’ve always wanted!When I need another topper, I will return to Dom without question! I completely trust her with my hair.

I’ve done extensions in the past and really wanted to try a hair topper. I looked into a few places 3 online and 1 locally to me. I ended up choosing local and was disappointed with the service. The hair wasn’t real when I was told it would be, she cut the bangs where you could see the cap line. I was feeling pretty defeated. I try to support local when I can but this time backfired big time.I ended up doing a 2nd virtual consult with Dom. She answered all my questions and gave me options. She was able to show me a topper that matched my hair perfectly and showed me what a quality topper should look like. I felt so reassured after talking with her again! I just wished I had chosen Dom the first time. This was all done on a Friday evening. She called me Saturday via FaceTime and had my new one cut, styled and ready to ship to me! I absolutely love it!! I’ve already received several compliments from those who have no idea it’s a topper! I’m so thankful to her for turning my bad experience into a great one!! My first time at Aura Hair Co was about a year ago I have not seen Dominique in years! I made a mistake of going to other salons for years. Long story short I grew my hair out then went to a different salon two months ago for hair color well needless to say that salon fried my hair off! I was not happy with myself at all so I went and chopped it off silly me. A light bulb went off Call Dominique so I did well needless to say I went for a consult for extensions and I made the choice right away to go ahead and do it. I am 100% a firm believer in the old saying you get what you pay for especially in my last experiences! I can not thank you enough for making me feel like myself again! I had the pleasure of getting my hair done by Gabriella she was so patient and so kind and her work is amazing. I am so blessed to have these ladies to turn to in my awful experience! I usually have bad experiences at hair salons but Aura Hair Co exceeded all expectations. I have been seeing Sheila weekly now for best blowouts that truly last all week. But she’s very knowledgeable on color and will tell you what works best for your skin undertones. I have brown hair but pull red very easily. With Sheila my hair is a cool toned brown, no red or brass. On my first appt the owner of the salon took the time to explain the products they use and why. When I left I felt educated and assured my hair is in good hands. Everyone is friendly and works as a team. If you are questioning this salon, don’t hesitate and book a consultation with Sheila.

If I could give more stars I would! Had the best experience last night at Aura Hair Co. with Dominique and Laura. Dominique listened with true interest to my hair story and the reasons why it was thinning. She really understands what women go through when this happens. I thought it was just a consultation but when I decided to get the topper, I was truly transformed by the end of my visit. I walked out of the salon feeling more like myself than I have for a very long time. Her assistant Laura is really a ray of sunshine and you can’t help but catch her positive attitude and happiness. I’ve been going to Aura for just about 3 1/2 years and I will never go anywhere else. I moved to Florida in 2018 and struggled to find somewhere I trust with my hair so for awhile, I had continued to get my hair done when I would travel home to where I used to live. After so research, I found Aura. I first came the week before lockdown and got an amazing full head of baby lights by Luis. By the time Covid shutdown had lifted, I needed a touch up and I couldn’t wait to return.Everyone there from the assistants, the stylists to the owner, makes sure your experience is nothing but perfect. Everyone works as a team to make sure your desired hair goal is reached.After Luis left I started going to Matty who further took my blonde dreams to s reality. He has since left but I now am with my forever stylist, Jenny A! There is no one else I would rather see regularly to get my highlights. Any concerns I have related to my hair or scalp she will take care of me. She is the nicest, most easy going person. I always leave with beautiful hair and happy with my experience.As someone who has seen multiple stylists and watch the salon transform into a beautiful place and team, I can truly say that I will always recommend everyone to come to Aura for any hair needs. I cant say enough about this salon. I came in with a hair emergency, and I thought I was going to have to cut my hair off 😭. I called and got a same-day appointment, which was a huge blessing. The WHOLE staff was super kind and assured me they would be able to help save my hair. I was a little skeptical. But they did! I had four different hair stylists working on my hair, and what I thought would take 5 hours only took 2!So grateful for everyone!P.s. the extra stylists jumped in to help in between clients, and that is what I call GREAT TEAMWORK! I absolutely love that!

I’ve been following Dominique over the last 14 years. When she told me she was opening up her own salon, I was so happy. I’ve never once been disappointed by her work. I have gotten highlights for over a decade from her, have had hair extensions as well. She is unbelievably talented. Also, her staff is so kind and so respectful when I’m there. They always smile, are positive and just make it such a positive experience. You won’t find another salon that will make you feel as welcomed, from the moment you go in and even after you leave. Luis is hands down the best hair colorist I’ve ever had! I have been with him from the start of his career. He has saved my hair and has always done what is best for my hair so it stays healthy. He pays extremely close attention to detail. Most recently he did my cut & color, and let me just say I have never received so many compliments on my hair before. He is a true artist when it comes to hair! I highly recommend Luis if you’re in the area. Also, the salon as a whole is just a great vibe & everyone is friendly and professional so that’s a plus!

I had my hair cut by Dom today and had my hair washed by Shiela, which by the way was the best hair wash I have ever had. She was telling me about the new straightening product they now carry called Pro Addiction and how many clients are having this done. I have been thinking about it, but, after talking with her I decided to have it done right then and there. Shiela was very obliging, she responded lets do it keep in mind this was at 3:30 in the afternoon and she had already but in a long day. She acted like it was 9:00 in the morning. She did an outstanding job! My hair is shiny, straight, and beautiful and it did lighten up the color which I was also thrilled about . Shiela has personality plus! She made me feel like I knew her forever. Here is the kicker Pro Addiction is normally $400.00, there is $100.00 off this month.If your thinking about it now is the time to DO IT!
