    Edit 3/30/25We went back to Urban Shave today. Aric (the owner) was very nice and understanding. I asked if anyone was able to fix my sons hair and he said he wanted to fix it himself. We went back at 2:45 and Aric fixed his hair. Although my sons hair is shorter than hed normally have it, he is happier. Moving forward we will 100% go back to Urban ShaveNot the review I wanted to leave.My son loves going here, he pays the best part of $40 and is always happy when he leaves.Today was different, Michael was the barber and all I can say is that he butchered my sons hair! My son is so disappointed 😞 he wouldnt have the heart to say anything at the time, i just happened to go in at the end when my son was paying. I said right there and then to my son that Im sure that isnt what he went in there for and he kind of agreed. The young lady at the register was super sweet, she took off $10 which wasnt the point, I could see the disappointment in my sons face. Its really sad my son left a place that he loves but with a hair style he really dislikes.

    Michael cut my 12 year old, very picky kid’s hair. We live in Tampa and my son said this was the best hair cut he has ever had! It looks great! We may have to make the hour drive down regularly to make him happy. Thank you!!

    Recently moved to FL, and found The Urban Shave. Prior to this, I hadnt gotten my hair cut in over 8 months, so it was long overdue. The Urban Shave provided a relaxed, enjoyable environment to be in, as well as clearly skilled barbers. My barber, Arion, was extremely talented and gave me easily one of the best cuts Ive had in the last decade or so, as well as just being a cool guy to be around. I will be returning 100%.

    Mr. Youmans of Arion charged a price equivalent to a couple of McChickens, compared to other people’s prices, for his blessings.     Josh is OUTSTANDING. The best haircut I’ve ever gotten by far. His attention to detail is ELITE. His skin fade was perfect and he was able to buzz the the top of my head in the back with a 7 and use shears for the front to blend for the perfect look. I didn’t even know that option was possible. He’s a true Master Barber. I would recommend him to anyone wanting a haircut in the area.

    Had a great cut by Nicole Texeira! My hair is not the easiest to cut and she did a great job on the fade and kept the top longer which I like! She took the time, and listened for what I wanted and check a few times during the cut if everything is looking good before she would move forward. The atmosphere In the shop was great, good music, great service at the desk, polite and attentive, I was offered different options of drinks. Definitely will be back for more cuts!

    Aric is an absolute master in his craft, as a former stylist and salon manager I have to say I have yet to encounter a more detailed and dedicated stylist. He not only provides an amazing service, with such amazing attention to detail, but he has great conversation as well. He is our go to barber! My only qualm is that the front desk seems to have a bit of turn over, I like to see more consistency in our check in. The shop is extremely clean and hygienic, which I appreciate given that most salons dont seem to follow state board regulations.

My last barber, who I had been going to for over a decade, had to relocate out of state, so I was skeptical about finding a new barber that I could trust.     Absolutely amazing experience! My husband and my son come here every two weeks and it is always such a easy experience! They are always clean and super kind to us.     Wow what a great experience! I got the Urban Premier Cut for my first haircut at Urban Shave and I wasn’t disappointed. Probably the first haircut where I was smiling during the haircut. Not only was Alejandra great to talk to, she also gave this new Floridian plenty of tips on where to go and things to do in the area. The head and back massage were icing on the cake. She was also very detailed and asked a lot of questions about how I wanted my cut to be. No offense to other barber shops, but this is the way a haircut should be. Phenomenal experience.     The entire staff here was very friendly and welcoming. My son and I were both offered drinks as soon as we walked in, and the owner again checked with me later to offer another one. It’s been a year since my son last got his hair cut because he is a little intimidated by scissors. Jonathan was our barber and he was very courteous and patient. I can not say enough pleasant things about this place. We will be back for sure.

    I moved recently from Miami and finding a quality barber has been tough because my standards are very high, I’ll admit. Today I got a haircut from Shane for the first time and let me tell you, he surpassed and over-exceeded my expectations. I am legitimately blown away with how well he did my fade and beard, taking so much care and attention to detail that I could not find one imperfection in my haircut. He listened to what I wanted and executed it perfectly. I will definitely be a long time costumer and I can’t recommend him enough. The whole barber shop was nice too, and the receptionist was welcoming and offered me something to drink also.

    Such an amazing barbershop. Ive had at least 6 different barbers cut my hair abs this was all on purpose. So I could know just how good and well trained these individuals are. All of them are amazing. While they all have their own style and great conversation. You will get the same amazing cut from everyone of them. There is always going to be some delicious treats by the bar. There drink selection is perfect. And you always feel welcomed and at home. The barbers listen to you on your specifications or issues you may have with skin or just how you want to look. They really take their time and give you amazing treatment.     UPDATE: After I had posted my review the manager reached out to let me know that thats not how they do business and apologized.He invited me back to make up for it, even offering a free haircut (which I respectfully declined).I just had a haircut and beard trim with Jio and it was amazing. These guys are pros and know what they are talking about!But more importantly, they took a frustrated customer and made him into a fan. Thats how you do things, well done Urban Shave team!I had only very little time, so I was excited that they take reservations and took the time to book one that would have worked for me.Unfortunately you making a reservation does not mean that you will be seen at your appointment time. Not sure what the use is as walk ins seemed to be in the same queue as people with appointments.After waiting 20 min. I had to leave for my next appointment that day (again, busy day).No one really talks to you to let you know that, even though you took the time to make a reservation, there are extended wait times.For the prices they charge, i would have expected better customer service.I wont go back based on that, their haircuts might be amazing, but the rest left a lot to be desired for me that day :(.

    At first the glamour of the shop made me hesitant to walk in since I am used to small barber shops. However, I have come to learn how welcoming all of the staff are at The Urban Shave. To be honest, I was not 100% satisfied with my cut from the past 3 barbers I had at the urban shave. The patience and attention to detail was there, but I attribute my opinion of the haircut to my hard to work with hair.Joseph Hagenow on the other hand gave me the perfect cut.     KSENIYA Is a total gem of a barber/hair dresser. She takes her craft seriously. But is grest with people. Goofy at times and overall a great person.     Good but pricey for what you get.The Google machine won’t let me respond so I had to edit my review. First, Thank you for the military discount. I’m from out of town and when I looked at the menu I was expecting the $25 haircut for my basic fade. I was originally charged the $30 price and then asked for the military discount and gave the rest back as tip. It was a good haircut that I had to fix a little when I got home because I hadn’t realized a some hairs were not cut and my part was not where I originally asked.I have went to different barbers in different cities. Having traveled with the military I have received all kinds of cuts from wow this looks amazing to I would have rather given my 2 year old scissors. I assure you this cut was not the latter but still pricey for what I got. With all that said if someone wanted a barber I would highly recommend your establishment and would just let them know it’s going to be a more expensive cut.

    Amazing experience, when I walked in I was offered water, soda, beer or wine. The employees were very professional and fun to be around and also very knowledgeable, they did an amazing job on my beard.     Hands down the best barbershop this side of the equator. 5 stars isn’t enough to give I wish google allowed me to give 100 stars. Master Barber Doonie is worth more than his weight in gold, the professionalism and attention to detail he displays on every single cut is legendary. I’d advise you to bring the entire family.     Wow! Cant say enough good things about Aric and everyone who works at Urban Shave. I called in a pinch for a kids haircut (had a virtual school graduation the following day)...and I called at night after they already closed. And we were sitting at home. And we had never been there before. And yet they told us we could drive over and come on in! Who does that??? And then when we got there....wow. Aric was great with my son (11 yo; on the spectrum) and was so kind and patient. And he took the same time and precision as if he was cutting the hair of a football player the night before the Super Bowl. He made my son feel so important (we were the only customers in there since they were closed!) and did an AMAZING job. Its the best haircut my son has ever had. By far. They offered him a drink (Capri Sun) upon arrival and treats when done. Such a nice place with the friendliest team I have ever encountered in a salon. Just genuinely nice people who really care about their customers and take pride in their work. This is the first time that I have ever written a Google review but Aric and his team definitely warranted getting on and resetting my password. Wonderful experience! Cant wait to bring my whole family back!
