    Upon arriving at this salon, I went down the list of reviews as a first time client. I read through and found many negative comments about services received from most of the stylist. I read that Scott had a horrible attitude, no customer service, and smoked throughout services. Since I was looking for a good haircut and didnt see any negative comments about the actual service clients received from him, I felt he was my best option. When I first walked in Scott was at the front desk and greeted me with a smile. I let him know my hair was extremely long and was very unhealthy and I was ready for a chop. He welcomed me and felt up for the challenge. Not once did he make me feel like he was irritated from having my as a client {long curly hair}. He tackled my issues with no worries and did a phenomenal job. He did exactly what I asked. My hair was even and my layers came out beautifully. I was in and out in the matter of 20 minutes. Im glad I stopped in and found Scott. 10/10 recommend!

    Got my hair done by Nicole, who is very personable and always has a smile on her face and I will go back to again and again. She answered all my questions and got them covered if she couldn’t. She explains and and all products going into my hair. I recommend Nicole for any hair

    Dee is SUCH a delight. I can tell she enjoys what she does, and she did an incredible job! She was so kind, and I really appreciated how transparent she was about what she was cutting off. She offered a lot of styling advice and answered all the questions I had. Can’t wait to see her again!

    I had a terrible experience the last time I had my hair done. I was hesitant to have any one do it again. A coworker I work with told me about Dena. I’m so glad she did! I had such a wonderful experience with Dena. Such a Gem to have in the Cape! She is extremely talented, knowledgable, and listens to what you want. My hair turned out exactly how I wanted it! It looks so much healthier and soft after! She is the Best!! Ask for Dena! You definitely won’t be Disappointed!!⭐️⭐️⭐️

    Been wanting to do this review for some time. I have to say that I am so happy and thankful to have Dee as my hair stylist. She listens to my preferences is extremely polite, knowledgeable and just overall a savior as far as me counting on being very satisfied with her work. Im always relaxed, during the appointment, she is an amazing lady.

    Ive been going here since the day it opened in 2008. They offered free haircuts for one day and I was there! Over the years, Ive had different stylists but my favorite is Nicole and shes back! She was my Stylist for my free cut and I stuck with her for 3-4 years until I moved out of the area. When I came back I was disappointed to find out she had moved on. She just came back over the summer and Im so happy! She stills gives me the best haircut, highlights, color Ive ever had! She slays cuts! The most simple layers to super technical inverted bobs to even designing a pixie with me for me!! Yeah, its a corporate chain-like salon but that really doesnt matter. Its the individual Stylist that matters..... private, corporate franchise arent performing the services, the stylist is. Hair Cuttery uses Redken color and offers an excellent variety of salon professional products to use at home. Prices are reasonable and within market. And Nicole does a consult with me each visit to hear what I want. She really is a talented Stylist. Ive had 1 or 2 over the years that didnt provide the same level of care or expertise and I just knew not to go back to that particular Stylist. This location seems to be coming back up. Covid did a number on salons and affected our Stylists long after it interfered and left our lives. This is a solid location, with great Stylists who offer fun visits. Nicole and the Stylists who work with her always seem to be having fun! If youre looking for your neighborhood salon, try this one! I recommend my girl, Nicole because she rocks at what she does.... but I see others there that know what theyre doing. Definitely worth a visit! I usually book my appointments online with ease, but with all computer programs that arent perfect, I make a quick call to confirm. Good hair over here!!!

    Both my husband and I go to Dee for our hair. Dee is the absolute best hair stylist!! She is so talented. Not only does she give the best haircuts and blowouts, Dee is an excellent colorist! She always has a smile on her face and a kind word to say.

    Ok, so let me start by saying I never thought of Hair Cuttery as an upscale salon or a salon that has experienced stylist I’ve always been told that Hair Cuttery is chain salon where beginner stylist start their career!! WELL, I FEEL SILLY FOR EVER LISTENING TO THAT STATEMENT!! So my stylist was a woman named Nichole and she was phenomenal not only did she know and understand she listened to me and took the time to give me that million dollar haircut and color she was amazing helpful friendly answered every question I had and really transformed my look she went above and beyond and exceeded my expectations she doesn’t know this yet but she is now my only stylist I hope this isn’t to much I don’t usually go into detail like this but she impressed me.     They always try to meet the standards of their clients and then some. Scott is always in a chipper mood, and making the whole salon laugh, kathy is very kind and doesn’t try to change your mind on what you want. But Mary is my favorite stylist. She’s always attentive and helpful with not only the other clients, but her coworkers as well. I had a mishap with my hair and she fixed it for me! That is priceless. 10/10 go here every time. She also did amazing on me and my sisters eye brows!!

    I wanted to take a minute to leave a review because Janean at the Surfside location gave me and my daughter some of the best service weve ever received anywhere. My daughter has anxiety and isnt really comfortable with strangers touching her hair. She was resigned but nervous about getting her hair trimmed. Janean picked up on her reluctance and took the time to talk through the process with her and ask her what she was comfortable with and what she wasnt (we opted to skip the shampoo portion). She promised my daughter that if she needed to take a break at any time, she could. She explained every tool she used and showed it to her first, she made an extra effort to be gentle and not pull on tangles. She praised how well she did. By the end, my daughter was relaxed and beaming! She LOVED Janean! So many people dont understand anxiety and just how scary simple things like haircuts can be, especially with a child that is old enough to know better. Janean knew exactly what to say and do to make this haircut a positive experience that well be happy to repeat.

    Loved going here. A wonderful lady named Jan fixed my hair and touched up my lowlights. Fixed it and trimmed it. Was happily satisfied with my visit to Hair Cuttery 😊Went back again tonight and had highlights added to my hair. Jan did an amazing job.     Great service, Beckie is very knowledgeable and honest. I was a little hesitant on how much hair to cut. But after she took a look she explained that my hair wasnt that bad so it could just use a slight trim. Even took the time to show me other ways to style it.

    I had a wonderful experience. The stylist (Crissy) was with only one other worker one Saturday night. I came in not knowing what I wanted, just knew I needed a change. She did a (drastic) amazing cut with confidence that i would have never picked for myself. In love with the cut. I called to get an appointment with her, but I was disappointed to be told by the girl on the phone trying to schedule me with someone else. I asked when she was there, went back and she gave me a new color.I would recommend this store and Crissy. She also sold me the best products for my hair along with brush and guided me on how to wash and treat my hair after.

    Kathy is great saw same day did just a trim but exactly what I asked for and received a sample of texture spray I am not sure how these locations are related to other hair cuttery’s but this on has shelves of products gives samples a little out of my way but this will be my new go to

    Walked in for a quick cut on this thin hair of mine and i got to say kathy was one of the coolest people ive ever encountered at a hair salon/barber. her energy, along with another co worker (didnt get his name) was just great. very friendly and real. and i usually dont really speak when i get a cut but her and the other dude cutting hair were just real people and i enjoyed the laughs. not fake robot customer service. it was genuine and real. i appreciate that. she also did a really good job and im going with her from now on.

    Deborah Housend is simply the best. She may have long straight hair but dont let that fool you, she knows how to cut and style any type of hair, even my short thick hair. I have been going to her for over 5 years, probably much longer and I wouldnt consider going to anyone else!
