    I have been going here for at least 6 years now. I always get amazing customer service here! All the women are incredibly kind, talented, and it has a very welcoming feel. I always love my haircut from here. However, everything I see them do looks great. I had Carly this time, and she did an amazing job. Highly recommend this place!!!

    It’s always nerve wrecking going to a salon the first time but they were able to take me right away and Zulema nailed it!!! I went from long hair to a bob and she took her time and did explain things along the way which was encouraging as a first timer there. They were all very nice and I already scheduled my next appointment! Highly recommend these ladies ❤️

    Was my 1st time there open on a Sunday. I have been trying to find a stylist since my Queen stylist moved to Georgia a few years ago. Finally found a new stylist that knows how to do my hair without using a flat iron. Zulema a Cuban woman moved here from Miami. If I could give her 10 stars I would. I told her Im her new biggest fan. Thank you Zulema! My hair is silky soft, cut perfectly and i couldnt be more excited. The shop was clean, spoke with the owner who is so sweet. Ill definitely be back as a regular client.

    Adrianne is such a calm, sweet, and amazingly talented hairstylist! I need that calm for my anxiety. She walked me through each step of the haircut and helped me feel at ease. (I have a short layered pixie and buzzed undercut). She gave me styling tips and has helped me manage what I thought was an unmanageable cowlick! Everyone I have interacted with at Hair to be Different is so kind and the vibe is so welcoming and warm. I recommend Hair to be Different to anyone looking for an easy and kind salon experience!

    I love this place! I have been returning to this place month-to-month, year after year, despite having to drive 45 minutes to and from. Liz is one of the best stylist and colorist that I’ve ever had. Shannon, who owns this establishment has always made sure you always leave satisfied with your look!

    This was my first time at this beautiful salon. My hair was a mess! The staff was very nice and helpful. Dasia fixed me up right and I just let her do her thing. She was so sweet and funny and did an amazing job on my hair! 10/10 definitely refer to friends and family, I am already going back! :)

    I have been going there for several months and I have never had my highlights and lowlights done so well in all these years!!! I will never go anywhere else again. I have also been doing the lash lift and tint which has been AMAZING along with brow wax and tint. No one will ever touch my lashes and brows again as the technician really is a master at her job. I can’t recommend this salon enough.

    Wow! I found this Salon and had an initial appointment with Kenzie for a haircut. She did an excellent job. I made an appointment for highlights and a root fill in. Kenzie asked lots of questions and got my color right! Shes an adorable young woman with lots of talent and a huge, kind heart. I highly recommend this salon and Kenzie!!!!! Needless to say, Im a happy customer.

    Jolene did a WONDERFUL job on my hair (and makeup!!) for my wedding over the summer and has done my cuts since then, lovely every time. It’s nice to relax and chat and be pampered by someone who really cares about their profession.We love the salon, I bring my daughter at the same time so we can both be on track for our cuts. She loves the fairy hair ✨My mom has started going for her shorter hair cuts as well and loves it every time.Seriously couldn’t recommend more!!

    The first time I went there was 4/08/2024. I had highlights in my hair that needed to be redone and I thought I could do it myself and bought a box color and my roots turned copper so then I went to Sally’s and a lady that worked there recommended a fix that only made it worse. So first thing Monday morning I called this salon and explained my dilemma and they said they were closing the shop to have a color class that day and said That I could come in and be there model. They fixed my hair and did an amazing job. Everyone was very welcoming and professional. They all went above and beyond. This is my new salon and I would definitely recommend them. Sorry I don’t have photos to share but the salon did take pics. before and after.

    Today was my first time ever going to hair 2 be different. my stylist was jolene. when i first came in my hair was pretty damaged, and my stylist didn’t judge me at all like i’ve experienced at past salons. i told her what i wanted and she gave me gentle suggestions on what she would do differently to do the least damage to my hair. i took her suggestions and was so pleasantly surprised. i’m very picky about where i get my hair done, but this salon did all of the right things. not only was jolene the kindest and most educated stylist i’ve been to, but everyone else in the salon was so kind. if you’re having doubts on where to get your hair done, this is the place to go.

    I can’t say enough great things about Adrianne at Hair to Be Different! I have a regular standing appointment with her to touch up my roots and have gone to her for several years. She’s always so knowledgeable about what the current trends are and helps to make hair decisions that are best for my face shape and lifestyle. All of the staff are super personable! I love that the whole staff regularly attend continuing education and hair shows to upskill on the newest hair techniques and products. You definitely won’t be disappointed!

    Ive only been going here a few months but I absolutely love Jolene. I have a pixie cut with some crazy cow licks and shes able to cut it great. Ive been to other salons and they always try and push me to get my hair colored when my hair is so short. Id have to have it colored every haircut and other places Always try to push you to buy product. This place does not do that and I appreciate that. Because if I want it, I would ask for it.

    I have been looking for a new salon for a few years now and am so happy to have found Hair to be Different.Amy, the salon manager, is truly fantastic at what she does. I have never had someone so committed to making sure I was paired with the right stylist and at a time that worked best for my schedule, Ive had people ask me questions while making an appointment, but they were definitely not as thorough as Amy. She called me at least 3 times so we could find an appointment that worked best for me. She was not pushy in any way, and she also picked a perfect stylist for me in Dasia.Dasia is such a doll. She understood that I want to have lower maintenance hair, mostly because I have worked so hard to bring my hair back from a time when I was losing it. I havent colored my hair in over 4 years and was a little nervous but also bored with my natural hair color. She did an amazing job of listening to me and also seemed comfortable with my wanting her to take charge and do what she thought would look best on me. Its easy to see that hair is her passion, which makes the whole process much more comfortable. She did a fantastic job on my hair, and I look forward to working with her in the future.I also love that this is not a Redken salon. Instead this salon uses Morroconoil (I may have spelt that wrong), which is cruelty free!

    Say what? Hair to be different now offers skin care! For someone who is very busy, anything to make life a little easier is a game changer! Not only do I have my hair done here by the fabulous Jolene, but when I learned that they were now offering skin care services, I just right on board. Hands down, Elizabeth gave me one of the best facials ever! Ladies, if you are looking for a way to relax and receive one of the best facials Cape Coral has to offer, this is the place to be. She uses Farmhouse Fresh products and they are absolutely amazing! Treat yourself and get a facial with Elizabeth at Hair to be different. You will be hooked! You will thank me later :-)

    This salon is locally owned by a very nice woman, it’s cute inside and very clean. I want to specifically send a huge shout out to the super talented hair stylist, Elizabeth! I have natural curly, long, difficult hair, especially living in a humid climate. Elizabeth’s blow outs and styles are hands down the best I’ve ever had! My hair style lasts for days, even when I was in and out of my car calling on accounts in a tropical disturbance last week in Miami. My daughter and husband have both said that my hair looks the best it’s ever looked. Elizabeth is also a very kind, hard working person who deserves to be recognized. Give her a try, you will NOT be disappointed!

    This salon is very nice! It is very clean and organized. Tammy did my hair and she did a great job . She really put a lot of work into making my experience great! The color turned out beautiful and she really is passionate about what she does. She is very friendly and makes sure your hair comes out perfect! I was so happy with my experience here . All of the hairdressers are very friendly and caring about your hair. Jolene is also a super talented hairdresser who really makes sure you have the perfect hair . Amy is also very nice and makes sure you are taken care of and always gets you in quickly. Dayja is a very sweet hairdresser and provided great help whenever needed. They care about their clients and this is a great salon to get a color or cut.

    In my life time I have only gone to three different salons. I love this place and will stay here as long as I live in the area! Jolene, Dasia, Tammy, and Amy are so wonderful. I do not remember the names of the other gals, but they are all so sweet. They always do a great job and I love that they are an educational salon, giving beginners a pathway to succeed.     After hurricane Ian it was a hard to find a good quality salon that was open!! We stubble across Hair to be Different and what a great experience we got from them!! We walk-in greeted by pleasant staffs and new we were in the right place! Liz took the time to ask questions to make sure she understood the hairstyle my daughter requested!! Boy did she live to our expectations she put a BIG smile on my teenager daughter’s face it’s hard to come by during this hard times!!     I just had a really great experience at H2BD. This was my first time there. Tammy gave me beautiful highlights and lowlights and the cut to go with it was so cute. She also taught me how to style beach waves for a different look when I told her about my lack of styling skills. When I told her about excessive hair loss that I have been experiencing, she gave me some great advise. The whole time I was there, I felt like I was sitting & talking with a friend. She took such great care to make sure that I got the color & cut I wanted. I truly cannot say enough about how great she made me feel & look.     Sent me sister in for a jacked up hair cut to be corrected. They made time for her and fixed what another place has done. I asked them to make her feel pretty, they did more than that! They cut and styled her hair! An at a fair price! My sister was so happy, they cut a little shorter due to length from another company and she fell in love.     I was very impressed with the professionalism of my stylist Shannon. She took great care and time to give me the perfect cut. The place had a unique hometown feel to it. Everyone got along, the clients were of all ages. Very stress free. Amy at the front desk takes care of you Quickly and efficiently. The Salon does great following all the Covid guidelines as the place was clean, sanitized after every treatment. Social distancing was practiced at all times as well. Great place!!

    Such a fantastic salon! Stopped in to make an appointment and talk about transitioning from blonde to gray. Scheduled with Dasia, and Im so happy with the results! Dasia explained the process and exactly what she had planned for the transition. She asked me a number of questions about my hair care regimen from shampoo brand and frequency, chlorine pool, and hair masks, to how I slept with elastic hair ties (big no, no) and gave me great tips for specific and general hair care. She really took her time with the process. At no time did I feel she was rushing for her next appointment as can sometimes be the case. She was very friendly and engaging. In fact, everyone in the salon was super nice. Its obvious this a salon of cooperation, not competition. Nice job Dasia! See you in 6 weeks :)

    If you are looking for the most professional and truly amazing salon in SWF. PLEASE do yourself a favor and stop the search right now. Hair to be different is truly different. My hair cut/styling was amazing. More important to me is that Shannon (Owner/Stylist) was was a truly amazing person. Above and beyond being highly knowledgeable and extraordinary in her craft, Shannon is kind, compassionate and sincerely cares about her clients. We moved to Cape Coral from a NW suburb of Chicago 7 months ago. After having my hair styled/cut by the same person for 20 years, I was apprehensive about going to another salon. So, I cut my own hair for 7 months while I searched for the best salon in the area. Hair to be Different was head and shoulders above all the other salons in the area. My search paid off... BIG TIME!     My daughter had come to Jolene for two prom updo (s) and today we were doing something different ... Jolene did a phenomenal job - highlights and a great cut!!! Amy was about to book a same day appointment it was a Momma/daughter date night and the ladies were great! Everyone was super friendly and when the consultation between Jolene and my daughter was potentially going to cost more than anticipated (my daughter wanted something different in the highlights than I thought she wanted) Any came over and explained the different cost and ASKED before Jolene did anything else.     I am so thankful that I was recommended to Pam by a friend of mine. She is amazing!! And so is her salon and the entire staff. Every time I walk into Hair to be Different (which is the cleanest and most beautiful salon Ive stepped foot in!), I am always greeted with smiles and personalized hellos. I really appreciate the friendly environment. And Pam always does a wonderful job with my cut and color. It is important to me to have someone I can really talk to and figure out what I want done with my hair because I am always changing it up, and Pam is definitely that person for me.     Lightened my hair and got lash extensions here! Everyone was so sweet and honest and my lash tech and hair stylist both did an amazing job. Sometimes, when I get my hair done, I only pretend to love it to be kind, but not here. This is the first review I’ve ever written and I’m writing it because they truly deserve 5 stars. I could barely keep my eyes closed during my lash extension because we talked so much but she was so patient with me and did not express any anger or annoyance at all, and my lashes still came out so beautiful. I came in not even really knowing what I wanted other than “some highlights” and she gave me something I love, and I haven’t felt good about my hair in forever. Cute ladies who know their sh*t.     I decided to try Hair to be Different because my long-time hairdresser was recovering from a surgery. What a great experience! The salon was spotless and nicely decorated. Everyone was so friendly that it was if I had been going there for years. Best of all is that Pam really listened to what I was asked her to do (cut and highlights), offered some suggestions too and the end result is an incredible hair cut. Its a little daunting to try a new salon, but I am so glad I did. My husband (who never notices my hair cut -- or at least acts that way) told me it was a great cut and he loved the color in my highlights. If you are looking for a new hair salon, definitely give this place a try!

    I love everything about Hair to be Different! Adrianne, my stylist, is absolutely amazing! She understands my hair, and texturizes it perfectly. (Lots of people can give you a basic haircut, but some of us prefer a stylist who can work with hair to eliminate bulkiness.) We have developed an awesome rapport over the years. I trust Adrianne’s skill and viewpoint enough to give her artistic freedom when doing my cut and highlights. The salon is immaculate, yet inviting. Everyone is welcoming, and friendly. They take cleanliness and disinfection extremely seriously. I have absolutely no reservations about visiting HTBD during these uncertain times. I always look forward to my appointments, it’s like getting together with friends!

    My experience with this salon is great !!!! Since I had a negative experience from other salons, they damaged my hair in Ulta, JOLENE is absolutely AMAZING AND PROFESSIONAL ! She literally saved my hair and did a PERFECT job, I’ve been to so many other salons and tried to do baylage, there is a lot of hairdressers who don’t know what they’re doing. A few of the stylist that have cut my hair have left, but when I called to make my last appointment, I was scheduled with Pam. I entered the salon and I told Pam my story about losing a lot of weight recently and told her that I needed a new hairstyle for my new look. I told her I needed something easy to style and a style that could be pulled up when I was working. Well, Pam worked her MAGIC and gave me the best haircut of my life. For the first time in a very long time when I style my hair I look in the mirror and smile and say, I love my hair!!! The salon staff are excellent and professional and the salon is clean and comfortable!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND this establishment!!! Pam you are a magician of a beautician!!

    If I could give 100 stars I would! This place is just AMAZING! Every single person greets you with a smile and is kind. The employees here are all eager to help their coworkers. Whether that be sharing tips, ideas, or even just helping clean up.Dasia did my hair, my aunt’s and my cousin’s. We are all absolutely IN LOVE! My aunt and cousin are from up north and keep telling me they don’t want anyone else to do their hair now, so they’ll be traveling to Florida to come see her!! Dasia is very talented and knowledgeable. She gave her recommendations on what she thinks would look great but also listened to us and ultimately let us know the choice is ours.Overall this place is just wonderful!     It was Transformation Tuesday today! I walked in tired frazzled and feeling completely down and out with no real clue as to what I needed much less wanted. I’m a horrible customer who has no real idea of what I want. Just something different! Jolene is beyond amazing, she is a literal soul saver. Not only was the color EXACTLY as my mind had pictured but couldn’t explain, the cut was transformational!! I went from old tired blonde highlights/light brown hair to rich dark brown with hints of red and matching eyebrows!! From long sometimes stringy hair to a sleek bob with a swoop.
