I visited this salon for the first time for a transformation. My highlights has gotten too blond for my Hispanic taste, and I needed to go more natural/caramel toned. Monica did absolutely amazing! She took the time to discuss my goals, tested my hair strands beforehand to make sure it would transition the way we wanted, and talked me through the entire process. She really took her time to make sure she got every gray, every baby hair, and every cowlick! She coached me on how to best take care of my hair and recommended styles for my hair type. Her passion really showed. The owner is very energetic and really shows how much she loves her business. The boutique there is adorable and so unique! Found a new salon and stylist for life! Loved my experience with this salon! My stylist was Nicole and she was amazing!! We started my appointment with an in-depth consultation, and made sure we were both on the same page regarding my wavy/curly hair. I love how she cut and styled my hair! Being that my hair is more textured, I struggled with getting it cut in the past, but she nailed it! Super sweet and kind, and very knowledgeable, highly recommend Nicole!!!

I’ve had “good” cuts before, but as a 2C/3A curly hair girl, the cut I received from Nicole far surpassed any cut I’ve had in the past! Firstly, Nicole gave me my first ever dry-cut. This allowed her to cut and shape my curls for optimal definition. She also gave me the best blow-out I’ve ever had, not to mention the color gloss! Nicole is a true artist and so pleasant to talk with. The salon itself has an organic, friendly vibe, and Aimie is the sweetest front desk associate ever! If you have curly hair and want a great salon environment, this is the best place to come…my search for a hair stylist is officially over. :)

I had a great experience at MAY-RAH-KEE salon. Im not going to lie I was a little nervous for my blowout since I have pretty thick curly hair that can be a lot to deal with, but Nicole was amazing. She definitely knew what she was doing with my curls and I was not worried about what the final outcome would be. My hair turned out exactly how i wanted it to. 10/10 experience. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by the owner and every staff member there. I felt good the second I walked in.Ive searched high and low and FINALLY found the one! Monica didnt just listen to my request, but she exceeded in delivering it. The color is spot on!!!!! The haircut thats been so difficult for other Cape Coral salons, wasnt a problem for her at all. Nicole is an angel!! She brought the life back to my hair. She did a dry cut on my curls, then diffused and styled me so we could see how the layers lay. She talked with me to see what vision I had for my hair and we discussed everything thoroughly since it was our first appointment together. And that made me feeling really happy that she cares so much about my curls. and that its possible to achieve the looks Ive always wanted with that right stylist.Im so much more confident now and I look forward to our future appointments. Let me just say, this place is superb!! they are so sweet, so accommodating, and they really love what they do. they love their clients and they love hair !!! i had the best experience with Monica & Zola! they were wonderful, loved the treatment they did on my hair and the care they took upon me, Note: I got there late and I made a last minute appointment during high season, it was totally my fault for getting there so late and they were still able to accommodate me and help me with my needs. 100% come here!!! you wont regret it, Spa Salon at its finest!!!! I am so grateful to have found this amazing salon and my new forever stylist, the lovely and extremely talented, Nicole! My hair is curly and super thick (I mean REALLY, REALLY thick). As every curly girl knows, it is so hard to find someone who knows how to cut and style it correctly, especially on the first visit. Well let me say, as a client and former stylist myself, she is a true artist! I have never left a salon and felt so good. This was by far the best haircut and salon experience I have ever had, hands down! She took her time (even though I was a little late). We got to know each other and she truly listened to me. I also got a deep conditioning treatment which I desperately needed and my hair feels so healthy and bouncy. The products this salon uses are impressive! I also met the owner, Sherry, who is also a lovely person. Nicole had another client come in before we were completely done, and Sherry jumped in to help by rinsing out my treatment. These ladies genuinely love getting to know their clients. These are the kind of women you want to be friends with! Thank you so much ladies. The salon itself is clean, relaxing, and low key chic. Not pretentious at all which is right up my alley. I can’t wait until December when I go back for some highlights and a Brazilian Blowout Express treatment!

I got my haircut and had a scalp treatment yesterday with Monica. She did exactly what I wanted and enlightened me on so many things that had to do with my hair. This is the 1st salon I have been to where they didnt push products that they had used or recommended. It definitely has a welcoming and hospitality feeling. The place feels so warm and welcoming as soon as you walk in with a cute little boutique style setup with jewelry and hair accessories! I had such a friendly welcoming with Monica who I had the pleasure of doing my hair and she could not have done a better job!!! I was so nervous to try out a new salon and new hairdresser but Monica went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and literally brought tears to my eyes with the AMAZING work she did on my hair! Absolutely beautiful salon! Ive been getting my hair done by Sherry for over a year now. And when the previous salon she worked at called to tell me she was no longer there I was very upset because since Ive been going to Sherry my curly hair has become curlier & its all because of her! I would not trust my curls to anyone but her! Not only is she great with hair she is also very personable & friendly! Im so happy she opened up her own place! I would definitely recommend her to everyone & anyone who wants a great stylist. Oh and she gives the best scalp massages!!!!

LOVE LOVE LOVE! The dry cut for curly hair is perfect (curly girl cut on the menu). My color is very tricky for most stylists... it turns brassy. Have never had this issue-- Sherry gets the tone perfect each time. The atmosphere is calming and salon is beautiful. Sherry always connects with me personally and makes sure she understands what I am asking for before she begins.

I can not recommend this salon enough!! I had a curly cut with Nicole, who was so supportive and just excited as I was to finally go for the big chop! Lovely new salon that just opened in the Cape. The owner, Sherry, is a genuinely warm person who takes customer service to the next level. Her stylist, Stephanie, colored and cut my hair. I dont even know where to start, but I do know 5 stars is not enough! My initial contact with May-Rah-Kee was over email because I wanted to ask about their smoothing treatments. Their response was prompt and their reply was informative and thoughtful! I was immediately excited about scheduling an appointment!I went in for a consult the next day and met several of these beautiful stylists. Sherry (owner) and Emily were the first two beautiful faces I saw when I walked in! They immediately greeted me with such warm welcoming smiles.My hair was in terrible condition...it was so bad that I was literally embarrassed walking in... I hadnt had a cut or color in 2 years and had alot of breakage and it was insanely frizzy. The color was dull and my hair was completely lifeless.I had my consult with Nicole and I absolutely love her! To my surprise she had time to do everything we talked about that day! Cut, base color, highlight and brazilian blow out! I left there with beautiful extremely soft hair that is now super shiny and healthy. When she showed me the back it was full of these beautiful bouncy perfect curls! I honestly couldnt believe it was my hair!I could not have had a better experience! I highly recommend this salon to anyone! I cant say enough about my experience there! What a talented group of beautiful artists! Stephanie is by far top notch. I originally went to her for a consultation because I wanted extensions after a really bad hair cut at another salon. She came HIGHLY recommended. During my consult, Stephanie saved my hair THAT day. She dry cuts to perfection that I walked out without extensions and so happy with my haircut. She has an eye for color and is always spot on. I always get compliments and everyone always wants to know who does my hair. As if that isn’t all I need, she gives an amazing scalp massage during the conditioner and often to speed up the process a “celebrity” blow out! Growing up in NY, I have been to the best of the best because that is what you do there. Stephanie far exceeds anyone I have been to. I couldn’t be more pleased.

Nicole is the best hair stylist I ever met . I had long hair for years . This time I wanted to try short hair. I was worried that I might look weird for a totally different look. Besides it’s not easy to maintain a short hair style . Nicole gave my thick hair a very detailed cut, I did not have to spend much time maintaining it. I moved to Florida almost 2 years ago now. I came from a city where I personally worked in a salon and had relatives who were hairstylists. Trying to find a stylist and a salon I trusted was not an easy task for me. I actually only got my hair done when I went back home for the first year because I didnt know where or how to start looking for a new place. I was working and kept seeing the same customer come in with amazing hair! I asked if she did hair and indeed she did. I gave Stephanie a chance and I am so glad I did. I love how warm and inviting everyone at May-Rah-Kee is from the moment you step inside. Stephanie has color corrected me from a copper red, to all over blonde and is currently bringing me back to red. She is always extremely professional and makes me feel special each and every appointment. I have recommended several of my coworkers and my fiances coworkers to her and May-Rah-Kee. Believe me, you will find nothing but quality, friendliness, and professionalism from this salon.
