    This was my first time seeing CarmelAnn. I was immediately put at ease with her welcoming personality. She took the time to ensure she understood what I was asking for and asked thoughtful questions. I am BEYOND happy with my color and my cut EXCEEDED my expectations. I feel blessed to have met her and am thrilled she is doing my hair.HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

    Of all the stylist I have had over the years CarmelAnn is the best. She is an artist and her canvas is your hair. She spent a lot of time with me to understand the characteristics of my hair and what color and style worked best for me. The whole experience was amazing. The atmosphere was very peaceful and relaxing. I was so happy with my results. It was way better than what I was expecting. CarmelAnn is very skilled and dedicated to her craft. I highly recommend her. I would not waste my time with anyone else. She’s the best.

    CarmelAnn was absolutely amazing. She did a deep condition on my hair, which was greatly needed, and did a cut that removed a lot of the dead ends. My hair looks and feels in so much better shape right now. Can’t wait for my next appointment to have my hair colored.

    I had the best experience with Carmel-Ann today from beginning to end. I came in for my first haircut in a long time. What I thought would be a quick 25 minute snip ended up being 1.5 hours. She really took her time with me and I felt like she cared about my experience. I felt understood and never felt rushed. She made sure multiple times that I was pleased with the length, even offering for me to come back within the week for her to make it shorter if I wanted. I never liked layers but Carmel-Ann did a great job. Her studio is spacious and comfortable. It was quiet and relaxing. I appreciated the effort she put into my appointment. It was a great experience and I highly recommend her. I left feeling really happy with my haircut

    I had been going to Carmel Ann for hair styling since 2012 when she used to live in Bay Area! I had unmanageable hair at that time, Carmel Ann listened and understood that as a new mom I needed “no maintenance“ hairstyle. I was so happy leaving her salon. Since she has left Bay Area, I haven’t found any stylist who can do justice to my hair.I miss you, Carmel Ann! Sending you best wishes at your new place!

    I just moved to the area and was looking to find a really experienced stylist. CarmelAnn exceeded all of my expectations! She gave me a fabulous cut, color, and highlights that I absolutely love! Even before the appointment, she did a thorough consultation about what I was looking for, even providing photos for her to view to prepare for my visit. I felt like CarmelAnn took the time to listen to me and gave me personalized attention. I received a fresh, modern cut and stylish highlights. CarmelAnn is a true gem!

    Carmel made trying a new salon a very comfortable, pleasant experience. Her prep work before I even entered the door of the salon was spot on. The questionnaire and sending Carmel pictures of my hair ahead of time made me feel like Carmel knew me. The consultation before we started was very thorough, caring and comfortable. Not only do I have a new friend, but I have a great salon to go to! Color, cut and blow dry.

    I was visiting Carmel Ann’s salon when she used to live in Bay Area. She is a real professional and just a great human being! My hair was always very soft and healthy after her appointments and I used to get a lot of compliments.I am missing going to her appointments🥲 She is a hair dresser who you can build a long-term relationship and she always can offer a great suggestions for styling. Definitely recommend!

    I’ve been in dire need of a change and CarmelAnn at Studio DeRosa really helped me! She spent an extraordinary amount of time with me to discuss the best cut and various colors. The outcome was fabulous!! I feel great cutting off several inches of hair and a subtle color that will ease me into these changes. I’m excited to go back in a few weeks for a follow up. I highly recommend CarmelAnn at Studio DeRosa!

    Carmel is a magician who gives you the amazing hair style that you deserve. Her expertise in what looks good on you and colors that match your skin tone is great. I have always been indecisive about what i wanted and always afraid to try new styles. Carmel always makes sure that you are confident in what you want and helps with her own suggestions.     I saw CarmelAnn on the regular while she was still in the Bay Area. I have thick (VERY thick) and very wavy, often frizzy, hair and found that CarmelAnn was one of the few people who really new how to deal with (and not charge an arm and a leg more for it!). Not only were her skills ON POINT but I looovved the experience of visiting her! It never felt rushed and I always felt like I was getting her full attention and having my requests heard.

    I was a client of Carmel Ann’s in San Francisco for seven years and I dearly miss her magic touch. She is a coloring GENIUS and better than any colorists I have used in Manhattan or SF. She has a technique called hair painting that adds so many rich colors and dimension to ones locks. She will make your hair look as expensive as a Hollywood starlet’s!
