Wonderful experience.I didnt have an appointment they took us ASAP.Got the my childs first haircut.Completely professional from acknowledging us as soon as we walked in, to asking opened ended questions about what we wanted for his style of haircut, just kinda wanted the hair out of his eyes and some layers.Super respectful , pleasant and skilled.After watching my child , I also opted to get a trim myself. Left very happy. 10/10 recommend anyone get their hair cut here. Amazing stylists. Tip extra $$ :)

This place is wonderful!!!! We just so happened to walk in and she was able to get my son in right away! She put on his fave show and he was good to go. Fantastic hair cut and customer service. If we are ever in the area again, we definitely want to come back to this location.

Always an enjoyable experience at Cookie Cutters. My toddler son has been coming here since he was 1 for his haircut appointments and after a few visits with tears, he has gotten used to it and isnt scared anymore. He looks forward to picking out which car he can drive in during his cut and watching the new Blippi episodes on the screen. Any playground area is also a fun plus and he loves getting a few turns down the slide before his appointment. Ms. Ivory is so patient and great with our son and she always does a great job with his haircuts!

She got to pick out where she sits, she got to put on her favorite TV show, and Christa was just an absolute delight/so professional! We found our forever salon! I love bringing my daughter here. We have been coming here since her first haircut as a baby and now she is 8. Everyone there is great, I have never had a bad experience. Samira is who we usually will go to and she is amazing. She really takes the time to make sure that both the child is at ease and comfortable as well as giving an incredible haircut! My daughter and I love coming here! (We went to have her haircut yesterday and all she can talk about since she woke up the next day is how much she loves her hair so much!)

My baby girl had her 1st haircut over the weekend! We had reserved an appointment easily online, and had a minimal wait time to be seen. During our less than 5 minute wait, the kids got to play on the slide they have! Once it was her turn to get sat, she was scared at first, but within 2 minutes she was comfortable and having fun in the pink car chair. Each station has a tv monitor for the kiddos to choose their favorite show to watch. The stylist was very gentle with her and asked us how we wanted to cut and style her hair, and also gave us recommendations at the end for her scalp. She even did a free hairstyle at the end, in a pretty princess twisted hairstyle with glitter spray! After the hair cut, she got her picture taken, and we received a 1st haircut certificate with her picture on it and a little bag of her hair clippings 😍 she received a balloon too! And so my son didn’t feel left out, they offered him a balloon too! All around great experience and I would recommend every parent to take their kiddo her for their first haircut!

Staff was friendly and didn’t mind the fact that we were running a few minutes late (AND had to use the restroom, potty training and all that) — everyone was very accommodating and Theresa did a great trim for our son! He was so pleased to sit in the fun vehicle chairs and slide down the slide and get a colorful balloon when we left. All in all, a great experience and we will be back.

Ive been taking my son here for a few months now, we were scheduled with Ivory on the 2nd visit here and Ive been requesting her since. She cuts and styles his hair exactly how I ask and he always looks so handsome after his cuts!! She is also great with talking him thru the cut when he starts squirming and getting fussy. Im usually able to get my preferred day and/time within the same week also so scheduling is relatively flexible.

Samira was a miracle worker and I absolutely will be back. My son is 3 and we really struggle with sensory issues especially with haircuts. We had so many traumatic cuts with another stylist in town and we tried getting a quiet trimmer and doing it ourselves and it was tragic, so I thought ok I guess we will just grow a ponytail. So a friend recommended Cookie Cutters and Samira was SO attentive and had all kinds of tricks to keep him distracted and comfortable and she just zoomed around so quickly I couldn’t believe it. He was so excited to get his balloon and sucker and I almost cried because it’s been such a battle for us for 3 years, and so thankful it went so well.

Diana was amazing! She put our son’s favorite show on (cocomelon) and she cut his hair so quick he didn’t even notice at all! This was his first haircut and it was 100% tear free and hassle free! My last post is below. I’m writing a new post because I received a text to provide feedback. Unfortunately the stylist Kristi no longer seems to work for this salon. The stylist we worked with was good but didn’t have the right communication to keep the kids calm like Kristi did. I would recommend teaching staff to how to work with special needs kids and kids that are very young and very scared. Overall the hair styles were great but I was worried she wouldn’t be able to finish at times.Kristie was amazing. My son is autistic and my toddler can be very hard to handle and she did great with both boys. She explained her steps, took her time, and helped the kids feel comfortable. Thank you so much.

We arrived earlier than are set appointment and they were able to see us sooner which very nice. I also love how the first haircut came with the certificate, photo, and a lock of his hair. It was a very pleasant experience, and will definitely be returning in the future.

We had a decent experience but the place is a bit overrated in my opinion. It is just another saloon with fancy setup that keeps kids occupied. Good for first time experience. Loved the fact that my son was distracted from all the action that was happening on his head as he was busy playing and watching Cocomelon. There is a little play area in the front which is a nice touch to help out parents who are waiting there with impatient kids. My son was also certified for his 1st time haircut ever!

It was my three-year-old son‘s first time having his hair professionally cut, a.k.a. not by his dad, and from the moment he sat down, he felt very calm and very excited to be on one of the vehicles provided at the salon. They have small TV screens where kids can put on their favorite shows and relax while getting a haircut and being pampered. At the end of his visit, he was given a balloon to take home and enjoyed his time sliding and playing while I paid. We had a lovely time and will definitely be back for around two.

My husband and I brought our 22 month old son today to get his first official haircut and Christa did amazing!!!! She was very detailed in her explanation to our son and let him pick out his own show to watch, he was super comfortable with her and she worked fast. I highly recommend!

Took my 9 year old daughter for a trim yesterday at the Clearwater location. Great place. Friendly staff. Theresa was amazing!! She was knowledgeable, sweet to my daughter, and knew exactly how to cut my daughter’s fine/curly/shorter hair and didn’t cut too much off as I requested. It’s been difficult, in my experience, to find one who really knows how to handle her hair type so Theresa was a breath of fresh air. I’ll be bringing her back to Theresa in a couple of months or so for sure. ☺️🤍

I have been going here since my children needed their first haircuts. Every one of their hair stylists have always done a fantastic job. But I recently tried a different place because it was directly on their way home from my children’s daycare (vs the 25 minute round trip to cookie cutters) and was slightly cheaper. The children cried the whole time and the cuts were terrible. I promise I will never cheat on cookie cutters again! The awesome staff, indoor playground, plane/car/truck chairs, individual tvs and free balloons and lollipops keep my two 2-year olds and 4 year old entertained and make the drive so worth it. We’ve been going here for 4+ years now and have been so happy. One of my children had sensory issues when he was younger and he hated having his hair cut - it was like wrestling an oiled up pig. But the staff was great, patient, and so FAST which was incredibly helpful. As a parent, it’s very stressful to be in that situation but the staff has always been understanding and kind. As my kids got older, they learned to love haircuts and now they look forward to it! There have been a few times I tried to cut their hair myself or we were out of town and stopped in another shop, but Cookie Cutters is the best. Worth the drive from St Pete even after all these years.
