I loved getting my hair cut at this location. I’ve been going here off and on for nearly 6 years. During these times I think the price of haircuts are outrageously expensive. I have also noticed several stylists with great talent come and go. Today Sasha was my stylist. She was fantastic and did a wonderful job; however, I told her I wanted part of my cut to include skin on the bottom of the fade. I was told since the store went corporate they are now required to charge $5-10 extra for the use of foil shavers on top of an already $30 haircut experience. This is ridiculous. No other company has ever charged me. I gave the review a 4 * because of Sasha’s talent, but seriously this is ridiculous Sport’s Clips. Especially during these hard times when people are struggling. I will not be back!!!! Good to know you turned away a loyal customer.

I struggled with finding a consistent haircut, but on one visit Megan Marilyn not only took the time to ask how I like my haircut but also what I didn’t like about previous cuts. Just by asking these questions she was able to give me the best haircut I’ve had in years. She used to work at Tampa location, but now works at the Clearwater store. She does such a good job that I followed her to her new location which is a 35 minute drive. Her service is just as good as it was the first visit and she continues to take the time to make sure I’m happy on each visit. Sports Clips is lucky to have her!

Leslie is an incredible stylist, the haircuts I have gotten have been the best in my life, hands down. Her fades are tight and perfectly tapered, the hard parts are clean and strait and sideburns even. She even goes above and beyond and trims your brows if you want. Ive never looked better!

Went in late on a Sunday after being turned away from a previous establishment..I did have to wait for a bit but its expected late on a weekend evening. However, the wait was well worth it! Alyssa was my stylist and after attentively listening to me about what I was looking for, she nailed it! I have long hair and am very careful about who cuts my hair but suffice to say I will return to see Alyssa!! She had a tremendous rapport and sincerity about her. She took in my concerns and navigated them beautifully! Well done Alyssa and Sports Clips!!

This is my go to hair cut place. I bounced around a few locations and people until I found Alisha. She does an amazing job and its nice to be able to come in and say that Ill do the same as last time. She is personable and really cares about her work. There have been times where we are about finished and she notices that something isnt 100% right. If that happens, she will go back and make it look perfect. I cannot recommend her enough, especially for those who do a combo of shaved and styled hair.

Where to start, well I have been going to get my cut here for over a year now. Alisha is the absolute best hair cutter/stylist/person with clippers in the greater Tampa area, possibly the world. I have gotten haircuts my whole life and have been to 5$ cuts to 60$ cuts. Nothing was ever good and I kept looking and trying to find a place that cuts hair well. Im in the military and need a very good clean cut. Alisha one night was willing to take the challenge and for the last year, every 2 weeks I go get cut by her. I move stations this summer so I wont have her to cut my hair which will suck personally and my military standards will suffer as I try to find someone else wherever I get moved to. She is dope. The store is dope. Everyone should go in

Having been to many Sports Clips, you come to have an expectation for a solid cut, but pretty standard. My experience at SC in Clearwater was much more like the higher end salons that I have been to in terms of attentiveness and making sure my cut was exactly as I wanted.Growing my hair out is a long process, and frustrating as it takes time and the in between stages aren’t a great look.Sasha took the time to help me keep the length, but add life and add texture to what was a mess when I walked in… needless to say I am very happy that I decided to stop at this location, as each stylist seemed to be invested in the cuts of each guy there.Great job building this environment, and team. Jennifer saved the day!! 2 days before the first day of school my sons normal barber called to cancel his appointment because he was sick. I panicked knowing Barbers open on Sunday are slim to none and being right before school we may not be able to get in anywhere. I found a Sport Clips close to me that was open and discovered though they do take walk ins their wait time was 92 MINUTES!! Then I saw you could “check in “ on the app and save a place in line without actually waiting there. THIS IS A GAME CHANGER! So easy and convenient. The best thing about our experience was JENNIFER! My son Colton is a bit of a handful. He has sensory issues mostly sound and touch that used to be so bad Id have to have my dad hold him restraining him while I cut his hair. He was immediately comfortable with Jennifer and happily sat through his whole haircut with no problems. He said she made him feel like a real man (he’s 7) giving him VIP treatment with shampoo and hot towel service. He loves his haircut and cannot wait to go back. I went to the SportsClips on Gulf to Bay in Clearwater last Saturday for a men’s hair cut. I was lucky enough to have Alisha as my stylist. I told her my hair was a mess from my last hair cut. I asked if she would shorten it but not too much. She trimmed a little first to see if I liked the length which was good because she did not want to cut my hair too short. I appreciated her approach and I ended up with a very nice hair cut. Alisha was extremely courteous, professional and friendly. That made the hair cut that much more enjoyable. I’m not one to usually go out of my way and leave a review but I feel this is extremely necessary. This evening I brought my son into the Clearwater sports clips, I’ve never been to this location before. First thing I noticed was how nice and well put together the salon was compared to some others I had been to in the past. Everybody in the salon was so nice and welcoming & my son was called back almost immediately which was really convenient because usually were waiting for atleast 30 mins.Nikki is who cut my sons hair and she was AWESOME!! So patient, kind, and made him extremely comfortable. Which is hard to find because kids can be fidgety 😬 but it didn’t phase her at all, his hair cut was PERFECT! I dont go for the sport on TV, I go for the vibes, the atmosphere is always a good vibe and the MVPs are awesome and well worth it! Staff is very knowledgeable when it comes to the various hair products for men. Best place for an awesome haircut!

So it’s not very common I take the time to write reviews but I definitely had to this time. I have a 1 1/2 year old who can be pretty difficult. With that being said, I typically don’t have high expectations for haircuts. His hair had gotten so long I knew we just couldn’t put it off any longer. My mother was babysitting so she offered to take him for me. We live in new port Richey and typically drive all the way to Clearwater mall for the kids place there but it turned out they were closed on mondays. So she decided to take a chance and go into sport clips. Kayleigh is the stylist who helped my mom out and cut my sons hair. she spoke so highly of her over phone which was a relief but then I saw my sons hair and was speechless. It is hands down the most amazing hair cut I could of ever asked for. I almost cried I was so happy. I will never go to anyone else. I look forward to actually getting to meet her in person for his next cut and giving her all the praise she deserves.

I’ve been getting my haircut here for about 4 years. Never had a bad cut. EverZ Recently, a gorgeous lady named Nikki(like Nikki Sixx) cut my hair and it was fabulous. I could hear angels sing as the scissors cut away all my sorrows. When, I got home I checked it out in the mirror and a single tear was shed at the sheer beauty. I have not had the pleasure of receiving a haircut at Sport Clips, but Ive gone with other people while they received theirs. And I must note, it is a nice place.They have plenty of staff running the chairs, though some would say they would not need as many, since the check-ins and wait times are automatically-operated by advanced computer equipment. My companion just had to set up at a terminal to check in, and his wait time was listed on a monitor, a long with everyone elses. But having plenty of people cutting hair is a plus!Entertainment is available while you wait, including a HDTV playing sports broadcasts and an Xbox 360, which uses the same TV. Of course being that no games were on TV the ESPN coverage was mostly documentarian in nature.Fun stuff aside, my companions haircut was superb in quality. He looked great after his hair was cut, and I must say that Im considering the option of trying it out. You will probably enjoy your experience here, but I know for sure that your companions will even more. Go Sport Clips!
