My husband and I were so impressed with Melanie. She was so patient with my 2 year old who is not a fan of haircuts. She literally walked around the salon while he played with toys to successfully cut his hair. She also did a fantastic job on my 8 year old daughters hair, it was so pretty and she still hasn’t stopped talking about it since we left! The level of service, patience, and professionalism is unmatched here. We will definitely be back. The girl at the front desk was also so kind and helpful! 100% recommend to anyone with kids!!!

Melanie is incredible! I drive 45 minutes to her salon to get my daughter’s haircut, and it’s so worth it. Melanie takes her time, does an excellent job, and builds rapport with her clients. It’s a 10/10 experience every single time.She also does ear piercing, and pierced my daughter’s ears for the first time ever. My daughter didn’t even cry — it was quick, easy, almost painless, and the quality and attention to detail was amazing.I love this salon and highly recommend it.

Melanie is absolutely fantastic! My two boys love going to her, and she always makes haircuts a fun and stress-free experience. She’s patient, kind, and great at keeping them comfortable and entertained while she works. On top of that, she does an incredible job every time—their haircuts always look perfect! It’s clear that she genuinely cares about her customers and takes pride in her work. We always leave happy, and I wouldn’t take my kids anywhere else. From the moment my son and I walked into Splash of Style I knew this experience was going to be unlike any other — which is exactly what I hoped for! Melanie instantly engaged with my son and took the time to help him feel comfortable by building rapport. She sat and played with him at the table with toys, introduced him to sensory tools, was silly & playful, and formed a trusting relationship with him all before even starting his haircut.Melanie is truly the queen of sensory integration & providing a safe, sensory-friendly environment for children who have low tolerance to haircuts. She encouraged my son to choose an area in her salon where he felt most comfortable, and she adapted the entire haircut around his comfort zone. She reassured me that him moving around the salon during the cut was OK. My son was happiest sitting at the toy table, watching videos on Melanie’s tablet.My son is two and typically has an extremely difficult time tolerating hair cuts. He usually cries, screams, kicks, swats hands away, and has even been held down for hair cuts in the past. What I witnessed with Melanie today was miraculous. He tolerated his haircut without resistance, was calm, and most importantly, was left with a lasting positive experience and most likely a positive association towards haircuts in the future.I applaud Melanie for her patience, grace, and warm spirit. She truly has a gift for working with children and providing life-changing sensory haircuts with beautiful results inside and out. Melanie, I cannot thank you enough for what you have done for my son & I! My 3 year old daughter got her first hair cut and Melanie was absolutely amazing. So much patience and kindness! She was so good with directions for a little kid. The salon itself is so fun to be in. And they even give you a little first time haircut card that I wasn’t expecting ❤️

My little boy was so nervous since getting his haircut at a salon was a new experience for him. I reassured him that I would put on his favorite show, little einsteins while he got his hair cut if we needed it. Upon arriving, there were a bunch of toys for him to play with which immediately relaxed him and then he was able to pick which car to sit in while he got his haircut cut, which he loved. Melanie was so welcoming and did an incredible job! She could tell he was a little nervous as he asked if I would put on his show for him. She immediately grabbed her own iPad and said she loved that show and started singing the intro to him. It was the absolute best. I was blown away and so was my son. We will 100% be going back to her for every hair cut! We love you Melanie!

Splash of Style is the best for kiddos!! My little is immediately greeted and Melony always picks something to compliment her on and bond over. The car chairs and toys help the time go by and she always gets to pick out her braid style and ribbon color. Prices are very reasonable as well!!

I recently took my 3 kids to Splash of Style and they got me into their afternoon appointment slots last minute. Everyone that worked there was SO sweet and my 3 kids loved it there. The haircuts my children got looked so good compared to other places we have tried in the past. The salon was so cute and well decorated to go along with the theme. We will be going back in the near future and letting others know how wonderful this place is, as well!

Having my haircut by Melanie was absolutely delightful! Shes created such a unique and fun themed space for both kids and adults to receive haircuts and styling that matches her sparkling and caring personality perfectly! She did an awesome job on my undercut and even added some fairy magic threads that simmers in the sunlight ✨😍

Visit the beautiful, brand new Splash Of Style Kids Salon on 27 — just outside Clermont and right near Donut King (even more reason to visit). Super fun decor, talented staff who know my kids by name and their favorite cuts by heart, toys for the littles to play with while they wait, simple to book online with reminders … it can’t be beat. 💦🪼🐳🧜🏼‍♀️

We took our 18 month old for his first haircut today and Melanie did an amazing job. I was a worried mama that he wouldnt do well but Melanie truly helped ease both his nerves and mine. The salon is adorable and the cute car for him to sit in was such a cute added touch. They gave us the sweetest keepsake with his first lock of hair and picture. If you are looking for a safe environment for your kiddos and a stylist who will deliver on your wishlist you have found it. I have a 4 month old and 2 year old. Every stylist who previously cut my 2 years olds hair always makes it so short. I asked Melanie to keep it long on the top and clean it up and she did just that. My husband is picky about my son’s hair and has hated every haircut he’s had. He raved about Oliver’s hair when we got home. On top of that the salon has toys for kids to play with and Melanie is the best with kids. My guy was super nervous and she had toys and kid shows and all the tools under the sun to keep him calm and happy. My 4 month old missed his nap, was fussy, and wanted to be held during the appointment and Savannah (at the front desk) bounced him for me so I could be with my 2 year old. They have a loyal customer for life ❤️

Our boys (3 and 6) were both entertained by the toys while the other was getting their haircut and they loved the mural and decorations, and felt very comfortable.
