I took my 5 year old daughter for a mommy/daughter date today and we had the best time. She got the Diva package which includes a shampoo, cut, blow dry, style, temp hair color, glitter, makeup and nails. My daughter was in heaven. 💕 Lesley has such a unique business that caters to making children feel comfortable and enjoy their treatments. The salon is so cute too! It was the highlight of our day for sure and something my daughter will be talking about for a while. We will be planning to go back again soon. ❤️❤️❤️

My 1.5 year-old son was desperately ready for a haircut. His curly hair was halfway down his back during bath time lol. Jess was fully prepared for a distracted toddler, she gave him different toys offered snacks and kept him engaged the whole time while she executed our haircut. As parents, we were very grateful for her, asking for our input to make sure we were satisfied with the final result. She clearly knew what she was doing with curly hair too which was a huge plus, because we were nervous to get his curls done! The place is super cute and well decorated and there’s even a little coloring station for kids in the waiting room. We will definitely be back!!

I took my almost 2 year old boy to get his hair cut and Jess did absolutely amazing!! He was very restless and at the end started to have a meltdown and Jess was so patient and able to still cut his hair while he was crying and moving around! They had so many toys to offer to try to distract him and were so friendly. The hair cut looks great. Will definitely be back!

Jess was so patient & sweet with my 2 year old son who doesn’t like to stay seated & his haircut came out so nice! She also has little fidgets and toys for them to play with. My baby didn’t want to leave at the end. 10/10 recommend 😊

Jess is absolutely incredible! My daughter is OBSESSED with her and the salon! Jess makes her feel so welcome and comfortable that her haircuts are a breeze to get through. The salon is super cute with a vintage vibe and vibrant colors that it brightens everyone’s mood. Everytime my daughter has gotten her hair done there she always leaves with so much more confidence and it’s such a wonderful experience for her and I.

Jess was beyond professional, patient and gentle with my 1.5 yr old. Although he was scared and moving quite a bit she gracefully worked her magic and my son’s hair came out amazing! Loved that she had toys to help distract him and a chair or car option to sit in. 10/10 recommend!

We have tried so many different places for my sons hair cuts, and they have always not been the best.Tangles and waves has been the best experience we have have had for our son who is 2 1-2!He actually enjoyed his haircut and did such an amazing job, Jess was so patient and kind! Jess did an amazing job with my sons haircut. She was so patient and kind. We blew in there like hurricane with twin toddlers first thing in the morning and she went above and beyond to make sure not only my son getting the hair cut was happy, but his twin sister was, too. I took my 11m baby here for her first haircut. So impressed! My extremely shy baby was totally comfortable with Leslie cutting her hair. Her hair is two different lengths since she was born with some hair that never fell out and the rest of it started growing in later, so it was awkward looking. Leslie fixed it as much as is physically possible until it grows in more and now my baby looks super cute for her first bday party.

She also has toys for the kids to play with, puts any color glitter in their hair & her salon is clean & absolutely adorable! Very happy with the cost of her services as well.

Lesley did a fantastic job on my 2.5 year old son’s hair. She was incredibly patient as he wiggled and had lots of toys to keep him occupied. She also has very quiet clippers - smart on her part! And the fact that it turned out so good even with the fidgeting speaks to her skills! She knows what she’s doing. We’re big fans and will definitely be back!

Where do I begin?Tangles and Waves is such a beautiful little salon. Its got a great waiting room for kiddos to play. The ambience is great, very mermaid-chic which made me fall in love!My daughter and I got the mommy and me package which is a great deal!Lesley was absolutely amazing! It was my baby girls first haircut so she was freaking out a little bit at first. I kept apologizing and Lesley continued to reassure me that it was okay and no big deal. She was very patient and kind. She did an amazing job with our hair and my little one got a lollipop for the road which is always a plus.Only thing I suggest is trying to make it there like 15 mins early, since its downtown cocoa, its kind of hard to find a good parking spot.10 out of 10 would reccomend! We definitely will be going back!

We really loved our experience. After putting off our babys first haircut due to the pandemic, it was nice to be able to find a conscientious business owner. Shes wonderful with kiddos and a great haircut too. I couldnt believe my little guy didnt even get scared. I think the quiet clippers were really helpful too.

I went to tangles and waves to get my sons second haircut. Lesley made my little guy look great, she was so good with him! There was even lots for him to play with while we waited. My 3 year old loves going here and getting his hair cut. Its by appointment only so that little ones dont get too restless by waiting for their turn. Also plenty of toys and activities in the waiting area.Its located in Cocoa Riverfront Park, so you can either head to the awesome playground afterwards. Or there are also plenty of shops and restaurants around. See attached pictures of before and after his haircut, which was exactly what we asked for.
