    Sam was very professional, helpful, and personable even before our first meeting. She took time to answer all my questions and concerns about styling my hair. You can tell she truly cares about the quality of her work and wants to protect the integrity of your natural hair. So happy to find such a great stylist. They are hard to come by!

    I received a curly cut and definition and let me tell you Sam really knows what she is doing. The salon space is very welcoming and makes you feel like you’re really getting that one on one action. Sam did a curly hair consultation with me and I feel like that really allowed her to get a good idea of how I would normally style my hair and what kind of look we were going for. The wash was very relaxing and when it came to styling she really took her tame and explained to me what exactly she was doing. Sam has such a fun and welcoming personality it really just added to the experience. I loved my hair and as you can see in the pics it came out great. Style actually lasted a whole week! Will be visiting her again!

    I can finally say that I found a beautician that specializes in natural hair!!! Samantha was very professional and very knowledgeable about natural hair. She answered every question that I asked.     Sam was phenomenal. My hair never looked better. New color ”bronde” as she coined it, cut, and my coils have never been styled so well. She was informative, took her time, and explained different products. We talked, then she colored, washed and styled my hair. Then she wait to cut my hair until after it was fully dry to ensure an even cut. Highly recommend.

    As a mother of a biracial daughter I knew Id have my work cut out for me when it came to teaching her how to love and embrace her natural hair but after finding Sam, I feel more confident in helping my daughter with making her hair journey successful. I booked a mommy and me curl definition service and it did NOT disappoint! Sam walked me through step-by-step how to properly wash, detangle, and style my daughters hair. I was also given the equivalency of a crash course about different products and how to use them that will benefit my daughters hair and a style that works for her. Sam was not only patient but very kind to my daughter for the duration of the service.     It’s been a decade since I’ve been to a professional hairstylist, especially someone who’s expertise is natural curly hair. My hair was damage badly, I lost a lot of hair and it began to thin out. I seen Samantha work before and I knew she was going to be my forever hairstylist. ♥️ Ladies, please if you’re looking for someone that does natural hair SAM HEIDI is your woman. She knows everything! I felt like I knew her forever how comfortable I was being around and talking with her. I was opening to anything when. I had got the Olaplex Curl Defintion + Haircut w/color. My hair was already dyed it was just faded so she did a little touch up. I see why women travel hours away to get their hair down by Sam Heidi, she has the magic touch and can fix any damage hair and have you walking out like you’ve won the lottery!     From start to finish it was nothing but an amazing experience. Sam was well informed. She doesnt push anything onto you she does a very thorough consultation and provides her recommendations yet she leaves it to you to tell her what do you want to do. Most stylists will tell it to you as if you need it just so that they can charge you for it but Sam is about a healthy hair journey for her clients.     Sam was wonderful! she was so welcoming and friendly the moment we met. i’ve gone to other curly hair salons but never really felt as welcomed as i did here. She’s extremely educated with curly cuts and the different types of hairstyles.     Sam is a Godsend! I was looking for a colorist who could work with natural hair because I wanted to color my hair purple, my favorite color, in honor of my dad (it was his favorite color too). Even before I booked the appointment Sam showed top tier customer service. I had a million questions and she answered all of them quickly, let me know which service I needed, and reassured that she could color my hair without damage. On the day of my appointment I was surprised by how down to earth and cool she is and how calming and cute the studio was. I was there for a long time (I have a lot of hair) but she made it totally enjoyable and catered to my needs. Needless to say I was VERY satisfied with the outcome and would and have recommended her to anyone looking to safely color their natural hair. My curls are still popping and so is my new color. Sam is not just a hair colorist, shes a hair expert. If youre looking for someone to go to, stop looking. You found her!

She took her time to get to know my hair, and even made product recommendations for me to try between appointments.     Sam is absolutely PHENOMENAL.I honestly don’t know where to begin. Beyond hair, this is the experience I wish I could have as a client for every service, ever, in my life.I booked a curly cut with her for the first time 3 days ago. My last cut was about 8 months ago with another stylist.“Why didn’t you go back?” Sam asked. “What didn’t you like? Why did you choose me?”??? I’ve never had a stylist ask this. I’ve never had a DOCTOR ask this! It might not sound like much in the context of a first-time appointment, but I was grateful that she provided me with the opportunity to be honest, specific and share with her clearly what I wanted, and she actually listened. It was about the hair, but it also wasn’t. I spent the visit wondering about what things could be like if I was able to have this level of expression in every area of my life.I went in hoping for a particular cut, but acknowledged that my hair was not in good shape so I would likely not be able to get it. She asked to see examples of the cut, asked what I liked about it and why. Then she examined my hair, noting my different textures and explained the life of the cut on me, styled and unstyled, and how the way it would grow out on my hair would cause things I told her I didn’t like. Then she suggested a different cut, and explained WHY she thought it was a better fit, considered my face shape, explained the growth process and how it would eliminate my issues. I trusted her but was afraid the cut wouldn’t look right, and she picked up on my apprehension.“You seem hesitant. What are you thinking?”Again, about the hair but also not about the hair--I’ve always been shy and uncomfortable speaking up, and her NOTICING and ASKING meant everything to me, and that I could trust that she really was considering my satisfaction with her work.I had a wash, treatment, set, product recommendations (she explained why, of course), and a curly cut.And the cut? Wow. Fire. Amazing. She was 100% right in her assessment. All I needed was some hoops. It would sound like a lie if I said she then went to her drawer and pulled out a brand new pair of hoops and put them in my ears, but that’s exactly what happened. Everyone deserves a Sam Heidi in their life, especially Sam. She is as kind as she is skilled, she is a blessing, she is an absolute gem.

    Sam was an absolute doll from pre-booking through the end of my service and even afterwards. She answered all of my questions prior to booking and was very patient with me. She gave me several cost efficient options for my extensions and helped me make the best choice for my hair type. My service consisted of a shampoo, treatment, trim, and I-Tip extensions. This service takes a lot of time, patience, and attention to detail and Sam gave me just that. She worked diligently around the clock to make sure my hair was perfect. She truly offers a luxury experience from her products, to her knowledge of proper hair care, and down to the suite space aesthetics. She wore her mask for the entire service and was fully equipped with hand sanitizer and disinfectant. She wiped down all of the surfaces in the suite before servicing me and I had no doubt that everything was clean and safe.     Omg ! I tell her every time I sit in her chair I’m so grateful to have found her. I began my journey with Sam 5 months postpartum. I’m a first time mom and breastfeeding so tending to my hair was my last concern. I came to Sam and it’s like I knew her for years ! Great conversation (we always talk the whole time lol) and she’s so knowledgeable!
