    Sharkeys Cuts for Kids in Coral Springs is a great place for children’s haircuts. The salon is fun, kid-friendly, and makes the experience enjoyable for little ones. The prices are reasonable, and it’s definitely worth it.If you go, I highly recommend Marlen, a Cuban hairstylist who does an amazing job with kids. She is patient, skilled, and knows how to make children feel comfortable.     Got my babies first hair cut got a lock of hair and a certificate. They did amazing! I wasnt sure what I wanted other than to clean up his hair and they have him an amazing hair cut that makes him look even more like his dad

    Went to Sharkey’s for my sons first haircut (he’s 3 months old). We were a little scared since the first haircut is so special but they had so many amazing reviews we decided to give it a try & let me tell you WE LOVED IT!! Marlen was so patient and sweet and she left him looking even more handsome then when we came in. We will definitely be coming back to her!! They gave us some of his hair and a little certificate with a picture, it was the sweetest thing!! Can’t recommend this place enough!

    Marlen and Maria are fantastic!! They were so personable and friendly. We felt very welcomed. We went for a “First haircut” and were given a certificate, a photo, and a clipping of the hair. We were also given a balloon, a sticker, and a lollipop. Super cute place!!!

    My son loved getting a hair cut here. I was worried how he would sit if he would be chill enough if he would cry the whole time how he would feel with clippers but all my concerns were very quickly put to rest not only was the environment amazing and completely ideal for small kids.     I took my four year old daughter to Sharkeys today for the first time for a haircut and style and we loved it!We just did a trim and then had one dutch braid with pink extensions braided in and the manicure.My daughter absolutely loved it and is already asking to go back!     I cannot say enough good things about our experience with Marlen today! My 17-month-old is usually a little afraid of new people, so I was pretty nervous about how it would go. But the setup with the car chair and TV playing his favorite show made such a difference, he felt comfortable right away.What surprised me the most was how quickly he warmed up to Marlen! She knew exactly how to work with a wiggly toddler and was so patient and skilled. I was amazed at what she was able to do with him, and his haircut turned out perfect!To top it all off, they gave him a balloon and a lollipop at the end, which absolutely made his day. The way the hair salon for kids is setup is fun and comforting to young ones, very clean establishment.     Such amazing experience! Came in for a haircut for my 6yr old. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The haircut came out very well. We came in for just a haircut and left with so much more!     I was looking for a barbershop to cut my son hair, but most of them won’t due baby’s hair, my son is 11 months and a lot of place won’t do it. I found this place and i thought it was going to be expensive since is no price in the website, so I said no the first time. One month later, I took the risk and I make In appointment and I have to said best decision ever, staff are extremely friendly the place is designed for kids. I love it and my son looks cute with his new cut and my daughter can wait to go and do her hair too. If you looking to a place to cut your little one hair, you just found it.

    I drive from Miramar to go to this location! I have had Marlen, Geri, and Michelle who are all super great. Sadly, Michelle isn’t there anymore but now I have two other very good options!! Marlen is harder to book an appt with but Geri is usually available and does an awesome job! She is always patient and speaks good English so I can communicate better with her to tell her how I want my son’s haircut.

    I was very impressed with Sharkeys. It was easy to make an appointment on their site and checking in when we arrived was a breeze. It was my sons first haircut (he is 1) and it couldnt have gone smoother. He sat in a cool car and watched Blues Clues while his hair was cut. I purchased the first cut package, so we received a certificate, lock of hair, and a picture at the end of the visit. The salon was clean, colorful, and very cute.     Loved our experience! We took our son here for his first haircut at 2 years old and we weren’t too confident in how he would react. He loved the red race car he sat in and he was given a balloon that he immediately loved. There are TVs available and you can put on any show to help distract your child if that’s what is needed. We had Yaneth and she was fabulous! She was quick, seamless, and professional and did such a great job with my son’s hair…and he barely cried!     Marlene is seriously the best. She does my sons hair since he was 2 and he really doesnt trust anyone else to do his hair than her. Shes also very patient since my son doesnt like getting his hair done with the electric clippers. The staff is amazingly welcoming and Ive always seen them clean constantly whenever Im there. Best place for kids.Update: My son is 8 and he still requests to go to Marlene at Sharkys. Shes so patient with him and so well accommodating to the needs if the parents and kids alike. Highly recommend her. Shes very realistic on expectations and always double checks that she understood what you want before starting her cuts. Honestly 10/5 stars hands down.

    We booked an appointment for my sons first haircut. The place is located in a busy plaza but there were plenty of parking. We went on a weekend so it was busy; we waited about 15 minutes for the hairstylist. I loved the decor; its very kid-friendly and there were cars and trucks for the kids to sit on while they get a haircut. There were TVs at each station and we can pick the cartoon. The hairstylist was very patient and friendly; she was able to give my son a good haircut quickly, despite him moving and crying. The haircut was pricey but it was expected; we get a first haircut certificate, balloon, and lollipop. Overall, a good experience, especially for your childs first haircut.

    Our new favorite place! We recently moved into the area and were looking for a new kids’ haircut place. I tried one other and wasn’t pleased.     This place is just amazing! I’ve been bringing my son here 3 times already. My son is very difficult when it comes to haircuts, he moves and screams the entire session but the staff is always so patient and willing to make the experience less stressful. Even though I have to seat with him on my lap and help the stylist hold him, they are always able to complete the service. I have taken him to some other kids places around, but I always leave with an unfinished haircut because they don’t want to help me out.Working with kids is not easy, so this ladies are stars.     Brought my two children for hair cuts. The staff greeted us and they were on time with our appointment. My son has sensory issues. His stylist was amazing. She gave us what we wanted and made him feel comfortable. My daughter loved her hair cut and her stylist. She is on the spectrum so she is talkative and the stylist was happily chatting with her.     My husband and I took our 16 month old here for his second haircut. His first haircut (at another salon) didnt go well, to say the least. The salon is very clean and the receptionist and stylist were both very nice. My son didnt want to sit in the car chairs, so instead he sat on my husbands lap.
