    I live 2 cities away and travel a far distance to go to this Dominican owned salon. I find over many years Dominican hair owned salons understand my hair type far more than other salon and I normally leave happy with my hair final results, so I am willing to go the distance. The staff at Silhouette Hair by Wendy are friendly, the salon is immaculate and the service is good. Happy I found this salon.On my 2 visits stylist Bectzy has always taken care of my hair and on the two occasions she did a great job. #happycustomer

    MAR 2023: WENDY HAS DONE IT AGAIN! I thought I’d never go back to a stylist, but I knew Wendy would be there if I did. And she performed a miracle again. I’ll post the before and after of my hair cut (please note these are second day curls) She washed/conditioned trimmed and gave me a new cut/style. I styled it with products at home (my preference) and I swear I’ve been wanting this cut forever- this is the happiest I’ve been and the most pleased with a style in YEARS.ALL HAIL QUEEN WENDY!Late 2022: WENDY SAVED THE DAY!!! I came to Wendy yesterday completely dejected, and after having a horrible experience w faux locs i was done with stylists forever. Although I don’t think I’ll be going to another stylist, I will absolutely return to Wendy for my last maintenance trim coming up. My hair was matted and completely destroyed, Wendy and her associate spent two hours combing and cutting through the mess. I cried so hard, but it wasn’t the loss of the hair that bothered me… I’ve had so many bad experiences with stylists in the past that im starting to think it’s intentional.Although Wendy restored my faith, I only have faith in her now… and even though I have to chop all my hair off now, Wendy was kind enough to suggest a layering style that she was prepared to provide… Because my hair is so damaged, I’ll be getting a Halle Berry cut for the first time in my life.TRUST WENDY YALL!!!     Hands down Wendy/NY Dominican stylist is AMAZING.My niece HIGHLY recommended her as I was looking for someone new. I am ALWAYS skeptical about who cuts or treats my hair due to years of disappointments. Wendy is professional and has the utmost respect for her patrons. The atmosphere is inviting and relaxing.She was able to fit my son and I in on the same day. Mind you 2 very different textures of hair. The moisturizing treatment she did for my son brought LIFE and shine back to his curls. All I can say is WOW amazing with just 1 treatment. Hes sold!My hair is long and has really thinned out over the years but heres the kicker... Ive been letting it grow out with my natural grays for over 2 years now. What I ABSOLUTELY LOVED was that not once did she to try sway me to dye or cut my hair shorter. She treated my hair with gentle hands and listened to what I was working towards. She ensured to treat my once very curly hair to now straight thin hair with care.My biggest fan my husband absolutely loved the results.I havent felt this good about going to a hairstylist in years.Thank you so much Wendy and well see you again soon!

    Wendy is the most amazing hair dresser I’ve found yet. I’ve lived in all major cities here in FL and I’ve tried around 10 different hair salons looking for the right stylist for me. Wendy is by far THE BEST! She treats her clients with respect and patience. She loves the job she performs. She is 100% dedicated to each client. When I am in her chair I can tell she has passion for what she does. My hair is soft and luxurious every single time I visit her salon.     I moved to South Florida from NY 8 months ago. Wendy came highly recommended by many people who post reviews about her and the salon. Let me just say that the entire experience from start to finish was superb. The first time with a new hairdresser is usually stressful and you tend to sit on pins and needles, but none of that happened with Wendy. She was insightful, understanding, and patient when we discussed where my hair had been and in what direction we would be going with it. My relaxer was great, the shampoo was relaxing and she really took her time. I walked out of there feeling great, and as much as I love my stylist from New York; I have to say that Wendy is perfection. A non-intimidating atmosphere, a well run professional business and a stylist that leaves you looking better than you came in. The whole purpose of finding a great salon is feeling comfortable with your stylist. Wendy is that stylist and I would highly recommend her. Everyone needs to be pampered, and this is the place.PS.     My daughter has been going to Wendy for many years and recommended for me to come this salon. Since then I have been going to Wendy for about 1 year now. I have had a wonderful experience with Wendy. She truly cares about the health of your hair. She only uses the best quality products and she knows what your hair needs. Her salon is always immaculate. What is also nice is that when you make an appointment you never have to wait. She is not just a hair dresser she is a hair doctor.     Ive been coming to Ms. Wendys salon since 2017 and she has always been amazing. When shes working on you, shes focused on you and your vision for yourself. In 4 years, she has never once disappointed me. And even when she isnt focused on you, watching her work on other people and bringing her and their artistic vision to life is also an amazing experience. I found her after another stylist messed up my hair color and cut and I was so thankful when she able to fix it for me! I have been going to her ever since and will not let anyone else touch my hair.     This place is awesome! After years of not treating my hair. I finally found the perfect spot. Wendy’s prices are reasonable and she is an expert at knowing how to treat your hair. Love her work. When it comes to hair I am extremely picky but I finally found my spot. The front part of my hair is very damaged and is hard to bring it down. Without a flat iron, she’s able to do it.     Wendy and her team are amazing. The salon is kept clean and organized. When you go for your appointment they start working with you right away, thus far I have not experienced a wait, which speaks well for her efficient scheduling. The hair washes Ive received... AMAZING! Normally, after I get my hair trimmed I do my hair until the next time my hair needs trimming again but for the relaxing experience and quality service I broke my pattern. I would pay for the hair wash alone, its that good. The pricing is very competitive, which is another reason why I chose to break my pattern and go more frequently. Definitely would recommend.     I honestly havent meet such a wonderful hair stylist like Wendy and her staff. For over 3 years I had try so many Salons and hair products but nothing like the Silhouette Hair Salon.     I couldn’t wait to get home to write my review of my first time at Wendy’s salon. Frances, Belkys , and Wendy were all super sweet and accommodating. Wendy was upfront with the pricing and understood what I wanted (bright red balayage ) immediately. She explained everything she was doing , why , and what products she used. The salon was very clean and they ensured to be disinfecting multiple times through out my visit. I was shocked by the end product because it was better than expected , and for some much processing, my hair came out healthy and intact. She gained a loyal customer in me, thank you !

    Wendy is amazing ! I went in for my hair appointment and I told her my issues with my previous salon( long wait , unprofessional, always burned my hair , etc ) Wendy was the opposite she had a no problem attitude and gave me the style I wanted and my hair came out looking so healthy and shiny !     Let me first start by saying, I don’t typically write reviews. The service would have to be beyond my expectations. I have been searching for a Hair Stylist for a long time! I’d either get someone who could take care of the hair but could not style or cut. I’ve gone to the typical salons where it’s all about volume, get you in and out and they care nothing for your hair. Or others where the level of service, cleanliness or professionalism were subpar. I finally came upon Wendy. I was impressed with the photos on her site, her ability to cut and layer seemed on point. So I called her, made an appointment for a consult. When I got to the salon, it was super clean, she took my temp, made me feel comfortable and had me sit in the chair. The salon is like spotless. Impeccably clean and organized. Super neat. Next to her chair was a table with a white towel and shears perfectly laid out. She asked me a few questions, but primarily listened to my tale of hair loss and disappointment. She was the first person to pinpoint exactly what went wrong with my hair and gave well thought out recommendations. She never assumed she had my business, however, shared insights and information with me to help me. I was moved and knew, I’d found my person! She is passionate about her craft and so humble. I asked her if she could do something with it. She discussed what I wanted and we could accomplish. She set realistic expectations. Then came a wash, protein moisturizing treatment and cut. I walked out like a new woman! My hair had bounce, movement, volume!!! It took approximately 2 1/2 hours from consultation to transformation! She is respectful of your time and hers. I was blown away. I am enjoying my new hair, I’ve gotten loads of compliments including from my teen and tween girls. I’ve recommended her to several people at my work who were impressed with my hair. I am Wendy’s customer for life! If you are looking for a true hair connoisseur, a professional who takes great care with your hair and your concerns, then Wendy is the one!!!!Thank you Wendy for honestly taking care of me... our hair is so often an extension of who we are and sometimes even who we want to project to the outside world...

    After many Google searches I called and spoke with Wendy and asked for her help. She told me to come right in. My dilemma was that I had had several bad experiences, and a BAD weave, from other stylists which had left me feeling dejected. Wendy took the time to ask me what it was that I wanted for my hair, what I was trying to accomplish and she even explained what the other stylist did wrong and what she was trying to accomplish. Wendy had the class and integrity not to take the opportunity to bash someone elses work. It was this honesty that instantly made me comfortable and calmed me. Throughout the entire consultation she asked questions and genuinely tried to find out my hair goals and she gave me REAL advice. Not self-serving advice. I appreciated her honesty, integrity and most of all her work was great. She restored me to my former glory and I left there feeling like myself again and most of all HOPEFUL and THANKFUL. I believe I have finally found my new hair home. All the other reviews that mentioned the familial feel of this place, they are 100% correct. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone.

    Wendy and staff are ALWAYS a pleasure. Professional and talented...make sure when you get there that you ask for WENDY! Shes usually the first one to greet you. There is another Salon with a similar name but they are NOT the same!!     I moved to South FL from NY a year ago and yay!! I found my hair stylist after a year of looking. My hair was not manageable and hard to adjust to the weather change, but after a consultation with Wendy she gave me options on what i can do to my hair . I cant even express how happy I am with my results I LOVE HOW MY HAIR CAME OUT. I also want to add how honest, professional and friendly she was. I had to bring my two children with me and she treated them as if they were family. I will definitely be a regular as I love to treat myself and do my hair.

    I went to Wendy’s salon a few weeks ago for a dye and cut. She and her staff are so sweet but very real. Wendy dyed and cut my hair, and she was so patient with me because I didn’t know exactly what color and haircut I wanted, but she made it work. I’d definitely recommend!

    I love this place! They are very professional and respectful.I’m very selective when it comes to a hairstylist cutting my hair due to a previous bad experience that kept my hair from growing for almost 2 years... it was crazy! I’m very pleased with her and so are my nieces (9yrs and 13yrs). My nieces are Dominican/Peruvian and their hair is difficult to handle (thick/curly and coarse); however, Wendy have done her magic as always — she’s able to create masterpieces with her hands.

    Such a nice place! Wendy and her staff were nice and patient. Walked in early last Saturday morning without an appointment and Wendy was willing to accommodate my mom and me.     I have been seeing Wendy (the owner of the Salon) for about 20 years now. I go in looking like a mad woman and leave looking like a model. She’s great! She makes you feel super comfortable. If the service you’re getting is a lengthy one, she’ll make sure you’re not hungry or thirsty. As soon as I walk-in, they are ready for me, with a chair waiting. There’s never been a time I’ve been dissatisfied or disappointed with my hair. I’m from Puerto Rico, therefore my hair is a bit coarse, and she is the only one I trust with my hair. I get texturizers, highlights, cuts, styles, blow-dry, and flat iron from her. My hair does not frizz up, and that’s important to me, especially in this Florida weather.     Such an amazing vibe in the salon, I have made it my home salon. They make availability when ever I need and since I am a mom that is super convenient. They always work with me in what I want and are very patient wether I have my kids or not. The products are top of the line and I would know being as though my mother is a hair dresser.     😍 We live in Miami Beach. Our daughter skates at the nearby ice rink before school. We have been be up here in Coral Springs since 5:30 am. After her lesson, around 7:00 am, we drove around to kill some time and got some extra breakfast. Finally we simply took a very long nap 😴 in the car. Yes. We sat outside of the shop for a couple of hours because I will not let anyone else touch my hair 😂🤩😍. The shop opens at 9:30. Our hair is beautiful and healthy!!
