Recently got out of the hospital and I had really messed up hair. A kind nurse had cut my hair because it was so matted. But it was pretty scary. After a thorough consultation with Tammy S. She came up with a brilliant plan to hide the fact that my hair was cut too short in one spot. Also I wanted some color to brighten up my hair. She suggested foils. She spent time creating the color and the rinse we did with a purple shampoo all her idea and I couldnt be more pleased. Made me feel like a brand new person. Worth every cent! Oh almost forgot, everyone is super friendly!

I literally LOVE my HAIR! I honestly would never get haircuts because hairstylists would always mess it up, but highly recommend CARLOS!! I am very sensitive to anyone doing my hair and this is the second time I have went back to him and I will only see him!! Ask for Carlos Alberto! His background is from independent salons and he is an artist! I have fine thin kinda meh hair. He trimmed, layered it, full head highlights and showed me the mouse technique to add incredible volume—game changer! He is consultative to achieve your goals like he did for me. From the start, she was so attentive, really listening to what I wanted, and somehow managed to not only meet but exceed my expectations. I have been to tons of Salons and today I was pressed for time so I went to Hair Cuttery in Deerfield off Hillsboro and Powerline, I was assigned Carlos as my stylist and all I can say is “WOW”, I’ve never gotten a better haircut in my 43 years ! Plus he was so passionate and thorough, he actually took his time to make sure everything was perfect! I’ll definitely be going back to him and making sure all my family members do as well. Oh and as a Bonus he’s super outgoing and funny, except when cutting your hair. He has a singular focus like an artist painting his masterpiece. I only leave reviews when things are worth it and he was definitely worth taking a few minutes to write this

She gave me a nice head massage while washing my hair and communicated very well to understand how I wanted my hair to be cut. I first went in to color my hair due to the gray taking over, Marie took her time and discussed best color treatment - which was PERFECT then she cut and gave me the best blow dry I have ever had. Its a great place in general. The service is friendly. However, the lady who serviced me was more into getting as many clients as possible in her day. She was rushing through. The shampoo she gave me was more like a wet down. I dont think she conditioned my hair. My cut was very easy- just 2 inches off. I have a straight forward bob haircut. Yes, Ill come back, but hopefully to a different stylist who will give more attention. A I gave my usual 20% tip but would appreciate a more thorough job.

So, I went to this hair cuttery because I had my very long hair cut a week ago at another salon and I was not happy with it. I was looking for a place that had evening hours and saw they were opened till 9. I met Pamela and her reviews dont do her justice!!! She is the first hairdresser that has ever listened to me and she did an amazing job knowing exactly what I wanted! I’m beyond grateful for this place. Even though my first experience here was not the best, I can tell you right now that Glenn went above and beyond to make everything right. The day before, my experience was not a very good one. Don’t get me wrong, the haircut was exactly what I wanted. I have a pixie undercut, and I’m going for the silver look which with my stubborn hair, can be pretty frustrating. I showed a photo to the lady that cut my hair, she said that I needed a toner. Long story short, the look never happened. I left there with orange hair. I was so upset, I couldn’t sleep and I cried all night. Next day I called the place and spoke to Glenn the manager. He was courteous, very professional and sensitive to my situation. I came in at 7:45pm and he spent 2 hours with me correcting the issue. Never once said anything about the time ( it was 10pm when I left) and always attentive to the needs of the hair. Though I have to go back to complete the process, (as there was no time since it was late) I can tell you now that this is MY PLACE for hair needs. Glenn won me over with his attention and work ethics. If you are looking for someone that loves what he does and cares that you leave with a smile… Glenn is that person. =) Thank you Glenn!!!

WOW. The girl Kali is a hidden gem for men’s hair. I needed a haircut on a Sunday (my regular OLD barber doesn’t work Sunday). I walked into Hair Cuttery on Hillsboro and found my NEW barber. Absolutely amazing and washed my hair!! My comb over was blended and faded perfectly. Hard part perfection. Very happy. Very affordable. I have been told that my hair is the most difficult to cut in the world, yet she cut it perfectly on her first try! The first haircut Ive had in a long time that I actually love! Glenn is excellent. He took his time and did exactly what I asked for. To be honest, I did not expect to get a texturized bob that looks this good in a chain hair salon, and Ive paid twice the price to get this kind of precision haircut in the past. Very difficult to find an excellent hair stylist in South Florida and Ive had ten lifetimes worth of hair horrors since Ive moved here. Last September, I had shoulder length hair and went to a new place near my home to get a trim and ended up with a bad Carol Brady pixie cut. So I was very hesitant to schedule with someone new, but I love my new cut and Ill definitely be going back. This Hair Cuttery location has higher prices than some of the ones near me, which is a good indicator of the level of stylists they employ. Totally recomend Glenn if you want a high quality short hair style.

My stylist was Taliah and she picked a cute short hair cut for me that had everything I wanted! She even suggested a root thickener that used on my hair to make it poof a bit more.
