I recently got extensions and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Angela did an amazing job matching my color and blending the length(s) as my natural hair fell just below my shoulder. If you’re on the fence about getting extensions, i hope my pics sway you to go for it! So happy I did, and so happy I found Angela and Shear Luck Salon. I drive 45 min to get there and it’s 100% worth the trip!!!

I have been going to Jeff Attebury, co-owner of Shearluck Salon for over 10+ years for my haircut and gloss treatments. I have followed him anywhere he worked before this amazing salon.I love his professionalism, talent, and personality so much that I could never imagine getting my hair done by anyone else! He has kept my hair so long, so beautiful, and so healthy for years on end, and I owe it all to his technique and expertise! He now cuts my husbands hair every six weeks and my husband is so happy with his haircut every time. I’ve been in Delray Beach for 9 years after living in Manhattan my entire life. It was so difficult finding a professional to cut my hair like i was used to in New York. After a few years of trying different high end salons a female neighbor recommended I see Jeff at ShearLuck Salon. Jeff is truly talented and a real professional. I’m so happy I found him and his beautiful and talented assistant Erica. I refuse to let anyone else cut my hair!

Shear Luck, his current home, is an attractive, friendly place where Jeff does amazingly creative work with cut and color. I asked for purple hair with highlights and low lights. I wear a pixie cut. I get compliments all the time. I highly recommend Jeff as a stylist. The shop is convenient to get to and parking is easy. Enjoy your experience at Shear Luck!

Jeff does great work! As a woman with short hair, I found it was difficult to find a salon in Delray that had a stylist who would cut and color short hair. He is meticulous and has been great about maintaining my color and style. He has also been able to recommend products to help with hair health and fullness. Shearluck Salon is the best!! You have to ask for Jeff and Erica. They’re my favorite team! Jeff rescued my hair! I went from salon to salon trying to find someone who could properly do highlights and balayage. Jeff is the only person in south Florida who I’ve had amazing results from. He blends the hair perfectly so you don’t end up with harsh stripes. I also love Jeff for his honesty. He always puts the client first. Every time I see him he does a thorough consult first to make sure we’re both on the same page before he does my hair. We discuss hair health, styling, cut, and color. He advises me on how to best treat my hair. Anyone who’s able to get an appointment with him is very lucky and is in the best of hands!! And Erica is just a sweetheart! She is so detailed and always has a smile on her face!

Jeff and his assistant Erica did a fantastic job on my hair! I am a busy RN who never has time to get pampered! Jeff was very nice and scheduled me immediately and payed close attention to what I wanted to achieve! I left with softer healthier hair and the best balayage I have ever gotten. I also really appreciated his method of adding highlights, he did not use the teasing method on my hair instead he did air touch method from what I recall, and I really appreciated that, as I majorly dislike brushing out tangles.I am very thankful for Jeff and Erica and I will be scheduling my touch up in a few months!I highly recommend this salon, it reminds me of home! 🗽

This is the only salon I will go to! I’ve been getting my hair done by Jeff for several years now and his work is AMAZING! He always does my hair the perfect shade of blonde and my balayage looks natural and grows out great as well. And the cut is always perfect and he never takes off more than I ask like some stylists have done in the past. The rest of the stylists here are fabulous as well, and the atmosphere is very chic and relaxing. Do yourself a favor and get your hair done by Jeff!!!

I have a bob haircut which is very challenging to find someone talented enough to cut properly and he knocked it out of the park. I finally am getting stopped again asking where I get my hair done. Color today and the treatment and atmosphere is amazing. Feels like home. It’s a must to try out this salon if you are in search of change and not just settling for mediocre hairstyle. I know it sounds Clichè but I truly stumbled upon “Shear Luck” by…. well… Shear Luck. I had just moved from NYC and couldn’t find anyone to “move up” my tape-in extensions. Then I spotted Jeff Attebury in the window putting what looked like seamless & gorgeous extensions into a woman’s hair that was just like mine.. thin & damaged… so I walked in. 2 years later not only am I rocking the best hair extensions I’ve ever seen…..but noone else can “see” them, my own hair is growing underneath faster & stronger than ever, AND I get to call Jeff and his super talented right hand stylist my girl Erica… my friends. This might be the most fun salon Ive ever been in! Since moving to South Florida a couple of years ago, Ive been looking for a regular place to get my hair styled and today I finally found it.The entire staff was great. Multiple people greeted me when I walked in and offered me an assortment of drinks, so I immediately felt welcome. One of the co-owners was talking and joking with me as if we were old friends and she made sure to check back with me before I left to make sure I was happy.Jeff cut and styled my hair. He took time to feel out my hair, get a good understanding of the look I was going for, and was thorough and communicative in helping me achieve it. At other salons, Ive felt rushed out of the chair and like the stylist didnt care much about how I looked or felt about it. Jeff was very personable and wasnt finished until we were both satisfied with my hair.I couldnt be happier with my experience and look forward to going back. The result was probably the best cut I’ve ever had. The salon’s name happens to be perfect for me - Shear Luck - as that’s what got me there. Let me start by saying I never like my hair when I leave a salon. EVER. If I dont leave sobbing I consider that a win. BUT today that all changed. I actually left the salon happy and smiling! Jamie colored my hair exactly the way I wanted it. She could have been the biggest B and I still wouldve given her a rave review based on the outcome but what made the experience even better was that she was so friendly and sweet. Ive never really had a go to stylist but I think I just said I do for the rest of my life :)

Im a guy that likes a great hair cut. Or rather, I have such problem hair that I need more like a hair therapist. Been following around the talented hair-dresser Leah Jones. Ask for her by name. Recently she started working at Shear Luck Salon. I love the atmosphere and the upbeat vibe of the salon. Lots of talented hair-dressers making folks look fabulous or fixing problems other hair-dressers mistakes from outside the salon. Theres also a good team work ethic here. Also very attractive and sociable staff to chat with. I always leave with a great hair cut. I dont see how any guy puts up with those terrible Hair-Chopery or Great Chops places. Go here once! Youll never go back.

The ladies at Shear Luck are the best! I’ve been getting my hair cut by Carol for years and just got my first color by Camelly, and I’m in love. I have super thick, wavy/curly hair, and they know exactly how to handle it. Plus they have $30 happy hour blow dries from 3-6 pm on Fridays, and I love their products for curly hair. Highly recommended, you won’t be disappointed.

I want to start by thanking Jamie, my stylist, for taking my hair from an out of date bleached out look (with major damage) to a modern, fresh, beautiful and healthy style. I can’t believe that she’s totally transformed my hair to such a natural look with her perfect highlights. She pays such detail to the chemistry behind finding the right color to go with my skin tone. I have so much respect for her and the time she dedicates to make me look and feel fantastic. I highly recommend Jamie.
