Maddie at Atlantic Studio is awesome and I am so glad my first appointment was randomly scheduled with her. 4 or 5 times later, I know being in her chair will be an easy and relaxing experience and I love my hair and the compliments I receive. I don’t always know what I need and her suggestions are on point! And the salon? To me, just right - music that doesn’t stress me out like a nightclub in the main room and tranquil spa sounds in the shampoo room. This is my new landing spot for all services on Island.

I went to see Lily and I wish I could give her 10 stars!! I told her what I wanted which was to blend my greys but keep a more natural look. She did exactly what I was envisioning! I highly recommend her. Professional and so sweet! Plus- she probably gave me one of the best shampoo/wash I’ve ever had! Not to mention they have a separate shampoo room- with tranquil music! I was so relaxed I fell asleep for a few minutes!The salon itself is beautiful and they carry amazing products!! I don’t trust just anyone with my hair and I will 100% be going back to see Lily!

Finally a salon that rivals the one in New Jersey/ New York area! I asked for blonde AND I GOT BLONDE, not brown & blonde ( made my grays more visible). Jacara is a magician! After the FREE consult, we set up an appointment. She colored my hair to the PRECISE shade I wanted. The cut...perfect face frame with razor cut. My husband was SO happy that he didnt mind the price. It is pricey, but you get what you pay for. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Atlantic Hair Studio, and Jacara!

An update to this previous review. Sadly for me, Kathy is no longer with Atlantic Hair, not only did she work wonders on my hair, but she is also a wonderful person and will be missed by me. On the bright side, Lily has now taken over where Kathy left off, and I cant say enough. Lily has a natural, hard to find, talent as a colorist. She is also very conscious of hair health; that is super important to me, and I am sure to everyone who colors their hairI came to Atlantic Hair with a mess, I had just about given up finding a colorist capable of repairing my wrecked hair. Kathy, is amazing, she spent hours, went far above the norm, I can finally hold my head up in public without being embarrassed about my hair. I got an American wave perm and the ladies did an amazing job. My hair isn’t porous so the process took the max time. But the ladies were diligent to check every 5 minutes. It looks incredible. They scheduled me to come in for a deep conditioning treatment. That was incredible, relaxing and made my hair completely silky and shiny. I highly recommend Atlantic hair studio. They have a stylist for any hair situation. The salon is also beautiful and relaxing. Especially if you like plants, they take great care of theirs.

My name is Kathy Mitchell and I don’t have a google account so I used my husband’s. Beautiful salon, very inviting, super nice staff. The owner, Erin Crow is amazing! Made me feel right at home and this is the first time I have had a new person cut my hair in 10 years. I usually get my hair done by my girl in Kansas City but my hair was so long, I couldn’t wait. Erin asked questions, looked at pictures I had of my hairstyle and she did an awesome job. Theres a couple really nice seating areas with a large one right in the middle of where the stylists are working so I can imagine it would be fun to go with like a wedding party for example. First time at AHS. I called and got an appointment the same day with Erin to fix a bad haircut from a different salon earlier that day. Erin was meticulous! She sat down with me to look at the cut and listened to my concerns. She gave my hair a full review and pointed out what needed to be fixed and how she could fix it without taking too much more length off. I have very thick curly hair that I wear natural and blown out straight. After she fixed my cut, she insisted we look at it curly, to ensure I was satisfied with how it laid both blown out straight and naturally curly. Maddie ended up doing my final blowout, she did a great job too! THANK YOU ERIN! I finally found my go to salon in FB/Amelia Island.

Heather is very helpful and makes suggestions when you have questions. Show her what you want and she will get the job done. Also, Heather has very reasonable prices for her awesome work. I have thick, wavy hair and previously colored. She did an awesome pixie like cut that works really well and was able to mix up a deep red color that I absolutely love. I have gotten so many compliments. Plus, I did not book enough time but she was willing to stay and keep me a little extra to get the job fully done. This was my first visit to Atlantic Hair Studio and it exceeded all of my expectations. All of the salon staff are courteous and friendly and they observed careful safety measures to prevent CV-19 (everyone wore masks, limited people in salon/good spacing, cleaning of stations/hair wash station between clients) so I felt very comfortable.Elaina was my stylist and she was incredible! First off, she REALLY listened to what I requested. In addition, I have never had anyone be so thorough and detail oriented. She was very careful to create the right color to match my hair and made sure that in was a good blend with my hair by combing the color in. When it came to my cut she took her time and truly performed as an artist.It is a little nerve-wracking to go to a new salon and stylist but I am thrilled with the results! I am new to the area and had asked someone with beautiful hair to please share where she goes and that is how I began my first ever appointment with Michelle. I am so pleased and amazed with my experience and yes, with my hair! Michelle listened to my needs so well that she gave me exactly what I had hoped for and then more. She even helped me address issues which had been bothering me but that I didn’t even mention and she is very kind and gentle. She described her suggested approach and I was so relieved that finally I was going to get what I had hoped for and I look forward to my future appointments with confidence. She gently asked if she could send me home with some samples and those I have tried so far are wonderful. Pleased to see they take the Covid protocols seriously to keep everyone safe. Michelle was my stylist & she is amazing at her craft. My hair is was long, very straight & fine. I decided to make a drastic cut in the length of my hair to have more body & movement. Michelle really understood what I was looking for & gave me a great layered cut that blended perfectly. Her knowledge of color & what worked best for my hair was impressive. I absolutely loved my color & cut. This is the best salon experience I have had in many many years. Not just for the hair but also the experience. All the staff worked so well together as if they were family. My only regret is the salon isn’t closer to my house.

I was greeted as soon as I walked in and didn’t have to wait long for heather (my stylist) to come get me and walk me to my chair. Long story short, she is fantastic. Thank you, Erin, for a WONDERFUL experience today! I came in with a hair cut that was totally wrong for me, uneven and lopsided. She quietly snipped and snipped and got it perfect! Her salon is very peaceful and beautifully appointed - lots of light, huge windows, professional and friendly team. Crystal did a wonderful job in washing / massaging. Made me feel very relaxed. I was soo very impressed with my excellent service. Lena is great. The whole salon team is great! I had issues with my color service because I have special hair due to a condition called Vitiligo. Lena, Erica, everyone from the sweet receptionist to the apprentices in the salon took care of my needs and I left feeling glamorous with my new hair color. They are gracious, professional...just the best. I’m new to the area and I’m so glad I found Lena.

I used Atlantic Hair Studio for my hair and makeup for my wedding. Crystal is very talented and did such a beautiful job. There was an issue with timing (I think maybe a walk in pushed my appointment back some?) and I was late for my wedding but my hair and makeup was amazing. I would use them again but I would allow more time prior to my event next time in case things run behind. I love that Crystal made my vision a reality!!

I am so happy that i visited Atlantic Hair studio after having read Stephanies offer!! It was a great experience! Sheri at reception was so welcoming and their waiting area is so comfortable. Erin, the owner has created a wonderful evironment for both client an staff. The salon is Beautiful! I really like Stephanie and the collaboration she, Erin and I had to try and figure out what was in my mind for my hair and how to creat this color and style, was great. The environment was very relaxing and their knowledge of skill was very clear which let me know I was in great hands. Erin Spann is a genius at nursing hair back to its natural health. I came to Erin freshly out of cosmetology school. My hair was fried and orange. Erin did an amazing job. I have been going to her for over a year now and I love my hair. It feels great and mostly it’s healthy. I couldn’t ask for a better stylist. I have never been disappointed coming here! The studio is so classy yet comfortable and everyone is so friendly! I have an AMAZING 5 STAR hair stylist named Steph Marv and she is so great at turning my dream look into a reality! I used to have my hair done by someone with 15 years of experience and Steph has taken way better care of my hair and given me brighter color, despite fewer years under her belt! She uses fresh techniques that do way less damage to hair while also extending the life of my color! My roots do not show as quickly because she is so good at blending and matching my color to look natural as it grows out! My cuts are usually a very angled bob and she makes it sharp and even every time. Recently I wanted to change to a messier look and she did not disappoint!

Im new to the island. Tried one of the expensive high-end salons in Jacksonville. Then tried Atlantic. Ill never go to Jacksonville again. These women are amazing. Erin, the owner, is wonderful and makes sure that no matter who you go with she is involved and makes sure everyone is on the same page. Crystal... Dont even give me started. That girl is absolutely incredible. she got it. Shes the first person in a long time that just got it. she really and truly listened. And what she didnt know she asked about. Crystal, Patience, and their assistant Presley were fantastic on the day of our wedding! Crystal and Patience took care of hair and makeup for 13 women including me on the day of and were absolute troopers. While getting my makeup and hair done by Crystal, I started to feel super lightheaded from nerves and had to keep taking some breaks to try to feel better and she was SO patient and understanding the whole time. I was in desperate need of a color correction after I had used multiple dark brown box dyes to try and cover up some old brassy highlights. I couldn’t get my ashy roots to match my reddish toned and dyed hair, but Michelle did such a great job!! She matched my hair to my roots with a dark brown ashy shadow tone, and then added a few ash blonde highlights all around and to frame my face, as I was trying to do months ago. So glad I came here to fix my hair to what I’ve been wanting to get, definitely recommend!!
