    Ms Anita did me right with my hair, she was very efficient and extremely talented. She’s a kind-hearted woman and we had very good conversation, she delivered exactly what I had asked for and the service was amazing. She helped with aftercare instructions as well, and it way beyond my expectations based off of previous experiences with hair braiding.     I had such an amazing experience here! Anita and her daughter Aleeyah are so kind and are skilled and talented braiders. She accepted my appointment last minute right before closing on a Sunday and had me out before 10. Not only did the braids come out perfect and neat but they were exactly as the picture I showed her. I am so pleased with my hair and overall experience! This is the best place in broward county to get your braids done.

    Today was my first time coming to what I now know and have experienced the “AWESOME WORKS” of Anita. She gave me a magnificent wash, scrub and massage at the bowl. This was indeed a plus at the very beginning. I got micro plaits which turned out beautifully. She’s fast one on one and does not braid tight at all. Super nice lady, great conversation.     Ms. Anita is one of the kindest persons I’ve meet. I was able to call her and get scheduled in a weeks time for micro braids. We started around 9 and I was out by 2ish even with my super short hair. Most definitely will be coming back for braids. She’s very easy to talk as well.

    Because it was the first time ever that I would be getting braids, I asked for referrals and did my own research to find the right salon for me. I was particularly concerned about my short hair, which is not the required length all round at a number of salons. It was the recent post below by “New Me” that prompted me to reach out to Anita.I initially called Anita and then chose to pass by one morning so that Anita could see my hair length and texture for herself. Anita was gracious and welcoming, and answered my many questions.Today I finally sat with her for my appointment, and I am so happy. Any apprehension that I had based on stories I have heard about getting braids—from how to pass the time to enduring pain, they are all unfounded with Anita. She not only handles your hair and head with care, but also your spirit. The time went by so quickly, I didn’t even watch any of the downloaded movies or read any of the items I packed for entertaining myself during my appointment.Anita is both professional and personable.     I first off want to say I love Ms.Anita so much, she is such a special woman in. It’s a bonus that she does such beautiful hair. I got micro braids (it was my first time) I was a little scared of what it would look like on me but after Ms. Anita finished in a timely matter I should say I was blown away and greatful that I chose to come to her for my hair.     I have been going to Anitas shop for a few years now. She is professional, quick and efficient. As long as you show a picture and communicate to her exactly what you are looking for she delivers the perfect hairstyle every time. She also does my sons hair when he needs a retwist.     I highly recommend Anita. My husband had been going to her to get his hair braided for some time and I decided to get 2 strand twists with added hair.     I just relocated here from Atlanta, Georgia and I have been looking for a braid stylist. I googled a few places near me and this shop was one of the choices on the list. After requesting a quote from the first two choices on the list and never hearing back from them, I looked at Anitas website and found that she had a timeslot available. The website was very professional and easy to use to book an appointment. She does require a deposit that is applied to your purchase. The pictures of her work caught my attention because the styles were well put together. I went to my appointment here on 10/20/21. I arrived at 8:30 am and stylist Anita was there to greet me. There was no extreme wait time upon arrival as I have experienced with other salons. Anita was very polite and professional. I enjoyed my overall experience at the salon. I chose a Ghana braid style. The quality of the braids are exceptional, and there was no braid tension and my hair looks very neat. My overall time there was four and a half hours and her prices are very reasonable. I am glad that I booked my appointment with her, I was not disappointed. She is now my official hair-braiding lady.

    I am going to be honest, the first time I scheduled with Anita is was hectic only because it was the day before I was going out of town. I had to change my schedule time due to some of her circumstances she had to take care of. I wasn’t happy and I was going to give up. However, I was so pleased with her work that I gave her another shot. She has been consistent since that day and I have been pleased with her work every time she does it. Her prices are reasonable and I love that you can get about any hair design. She has very good energy and knows how to keep a conversation going. 👌🏽

She made scheduling exceptions for me and opened her shop early so I would be out early. There is no price gouging. The cost/fees are listed on a board in the shop. A+ service.     I stay in SW Florida and its tough to find someone that does AA hair over here. I was in Broward for the week and got tired taming the fro every morning. I set up the appointment Sunday morning for 5pm that same day. We had a bit of a misunderstanding because I arrived a tad early and someone was in the chair without their hair done for the time of my appointment. I guess she didnt know I made an appointment for that same day but it was okay because their hair didnt take long. Less than an hour later, its time for me to get in the chair. She did an amazing job and it didnt take long either. Usually I fall asleep when someone is doing my hair whether Im in a barbershop, salon, you name it. She let me know about ways to get and keep my hair healthy (all I do is wash, shampoo and condition and go about my day) and she let me know I should keep it moisturized as well. It doesnt end at simply shampoo and conditioner. I told her this is my first time growing my hair out in 25 years, Ive always had a low cut up until my 25th birthday when I decided to just grow it out. She informed me on what I should be doing/putting in my hair and Im grateful for that. We also had an interesting history conversation as well that kept me wide awake, and she dropped some jewels on me that made me go and do some research when I got back to my hotel. It was an amazing experience all around. I will definitely be back when I get some time off work and this will be one of my first stops.

    Im a person that has been at the mercy of manyyyy braiders.Braiders are judged by and for many things.So unless you take this journey personally DONT get distracted by any negative reviews.Her work is the best!! Shes very accommodating with dates.I highly recommend texting a picture of your style, she normally doesnt answer the phone while shes working, which to me is PROFESSIONAL, ACCOMMODATING and CONDUCIVE to her time and respectful to the person in the chair.So in summation...dont knock it until youve tried it for yourself!!
