    This was absolutely the best experience Ive had at a hair salon. The stylist Kaylee was extremely sweet and very patient. She asked me questions before we started and really took the time to hear and see what I wanted. She also talked me through the steps and taught me how to do my hair at home so that I can achieve similar results. I have NEVER been so in love with my hair until now. Thank you so much Curl pop! 10/10 would HIGHLY recommend! Especially to those struggling with their curls!

    I got my first CurlPop experience September 2016. It was the best experience ever and my go to ever since. A Curlpop is a special and personalized experience you will get nowhere else. Just from the way they introduce each session by having conversation about your expectations to the very end. Through the different times I have been to CurlPop I learned that the best product, cut or technique for curly hair is not the most popular or expensive out there BUT the one that works FOR YOU and they will help you find that while making you feel very special in the process. If you got curly hair a CurlPop experience will be one you will never forget. I could not be more happy to find them.

    I experienced the world of Curl Pop culture this past July, and it was the best hair cut experience ever. I will never ever allow anyone else to mess with my curls ever again.What Aleisbel and the curl pop team have created is a space, a world per say where you can allow your curls to be themselves because the cut is tailored to your specific curl type. Alesibel really listened to what I wanted for my hair and delivered!Curl Pop Tip # 1 Ask for the special massage from JohnCurl Pop Tip #2 Diffuse at all angels. I used to diffuse my hair with my head straight up looking forward. I learned from my first visit that if volume is what you are looking for, diffuse side to side, head flipped forward, and head tilted back.

    Loved this place! Loved the team! Everyone is so nice and caring. So so so friendly. They really know how to make curly hair ( and probably all types of hair) look and feel great! I deff cried some happy tears in the car! Totally worth the drive. My hair looks amazing.

    I had the best salon experience in my life! For some context, I hadnā€™t gotten my hair done at a salon in five years because I faced multiple butchered haircuts. My hair is thick, dense, wavy/curly and somehow my past hairdressers never understood the nature of my hair. Also, I am a Hijabi (a Muslim woman that wears a headscarf), so you could imagine how hard it is to find a place that can accommodate my religious practice. After five years of self cutting hair,I worked up some courage to google curly hair salons because I grew frustrated with my flat overgrown hair. CurlPop salon immediately caught my attention as I was pursuing the list of ā€œcurly hair salons near meā€. I took a look at their gallery+instagram and saw transformations of girlies that were truly remarkable! I decided to request an appointment. I also went to the location to ask for availability and accommodations. In short, I was greeted by John (I believe he is the manager of Curlpop) and he was very courteous and understood my religious beliefs. He informed me that he will make sure not to be in the salon while Im getting my hair done. I finally got my appointment paid and booked. I also want to mention that my hairdresser was so kind to come before hours for my hair appointment. Now, fast forward to the appointment dayā€¦ my hairdresser, Kaylee, was amazing. She was very professional and knowledgeable. In short, she knew what she was doing. She began by consulting my hair and understanding my texture and density. Then, we went over my inspiration pictures and my hair goals. Next, she washed my hair and began cutting. During the cutting of my hair, the founder/creator of Curlpop arrived and greeted my mother and I. She was very kind and courteous and made me feel seen and welcomed. She demonstrated so much understanding towards my practice of wearing the hijab. Soon After, it was time to add product and diffuse my hair. Once, my hair was dried and styled, I was amazed by the results. My hairdresser understood the assignment and incorporated everything from my inspiration photos. I was also surprised that my appointment took two hours! Considering that my appointment was supposed to be for an hour, I didnā€™t feel that my hairdresser rushed me at all.Overall, I would totally do my hair again at Curlpop. And this is a great recommendation for Hijabis because they accommodate (for no extra cost and their windows are tinted). Thanks again to the Curlpop team!

    You know that feeling of confidence after getting your hair done...well imagine doubling up on that feeling thatā€™s exactly how it is when you leave the CurlPop salon. No exaggeration whatsoever when I say the CurlPop team has changed my life and my hair for the better. I have been getting my hair done there since 2017, and the way my natural hair/curls has upgraded every time I leave there is truly amazing. The way they take care of you with their services up to the scalp massage when deep conditioning the hair is even done with love. Iā€™m so glad to have found the salon .     I started going to Curlpop 2 years ago with extremely damaged hair. Best experience I ever had, not only did she take care of my hair but she was teaching me about my hair and how I can take care of it. I drive 4 hours just to go to curlpop and it is so worth it. My hair looks amazing and my curls are back. Also, everybody there are so nice and happy, best experience ever.

    So fantastic to find someone who truly understands curly hair--not just how to cut it, but how to style it! Often, it seems like curly hair specialists really only specialize in one type of curly hair, or really only know one cut, or arent able to appropriately style all of the incredibly varieties of curls out there. Not so with . Not only did Isabella do a phenomenal job with my cut, but it was truly the first time Ive ever felt a hairstylist knew how to style my hair better than me. I couldnt stop staring in the mirror afterwards! And she was super helpful with the tips so I could recreate the same style at home. So happy to have found such a great stylist.

    If you are looking for the ultimate ā€œCurly girlā€ hair experience, this is the place!! The owner and staff are super knowledgeable and friendly.     One of the best hair salons that truly caters to their clients wants and needs. I appreciate the professionalism, the cleanliness, the care and education, and just the overall vibe. It is more of an experience than just an ordinary hair salon appointment. Aleisbel is amazing. She ensures that your CurlPop experience is fun and informative. Her skill set and knowledge of curly hair is extensive. Her staff is wonderful, so friendly, and they really create a fun atmosphere. You can tell they all really enjoy being there.     Curls are not easy to maintain so when you find someone who specializes in doing curly hair it makes keeping them up easier.     The BEST thing I ever did was take my time looking for the perfect stylist for my curly hair. After 1 year of following Curl Pop on IG I decided to go for it and reach out. Everything was very self explanatory when booking my appointment. I love the fact that CURLP POP is EXCLUSIVE! I honestly felt like a celebrity through the entire process. My appointment was booked in advanced but then pushed back due to COVID. I promise you it was well worth the wait! When I finally made it to my first appointment, I was mind blown by Ilisabella expertise. After 5 min of speaking to her I was blessed to be at the hands of an angel! She asked me what my inspirations were and explained if what I wanted would work for my hair type or not plus provided me suggestions similar to what I wanted but more suited for my hair type. Her team is exceptional In every way, from the hair wash to the hair cut I was treated like a queen. The end results were out of this world, not only did she pop my curls but she taught me how to care for my hair, debunked a few myths and set me on my curly hair journey. I came back the next year for color and style and once again I was wowed by the CURL POP team! Best believe that I will be going again this year and every year after that so she can spruce up curls.     If I could give Curlpop Salon more than 5 stars I would! The service provided was impeccable! They were very hospitable and they listened to my desires completely. They did a phenomenal job on my hair, truly the most flattering haircut Iā€™ve ever gotten.     I spent more than a year thinking about a big chop, I consulted with several people and I stumbled upon CurlPop Salon thanks to a friend; it was the best recommendation ever! Of course I had to make the appointment with sufficient time and I was so nervous all the days until then of how I was going to look after the big chop but honestly, it was the best experience ever! Not only because at CurlPop they took care of me greatly (even in the midst of the pandemic) they have all the measures correctly applied...I was the only client the day of my appointment and they took the time to speak with me and understand what I was going for...I really wanted to start building a good relationship with my hair and honestly CurlPop was what I needed!After the big chop, they explained all the steps I had to take in order to take care of my new baby hair and Im so eager to come back!!

    Isabella and John were the first people I let touch my hair in 8 years. They did not disappoint. Everyone was so friendly and she really took the time to ask me what I wanted my hair to look like. (which most stylists donā€™t) The finished product exceeded my expectations and she is the only person who will be cutting my hair from here on out. If you are feeling hesitant or not sure about booking because of bad experiences with other stylists, Isabella will put you at ease. I love my haircut!

When I finally got the email that my appointment had been booked with Aleisbel, I was beyond excited! I live in Georgia but I flew to New Orleans just for my appointment because thatā€™s where she was going to be next on her traveling schedule.My expected hair goals were exceeded because Aleisbel a.k.a. Mrs. CurlPop has magical hands and is just flat out freaking amazing! She brought my hair to life, defined my curls, gave me the volume Iā€™ve always wanted, and then added versatile bangs!! Oh and letā€™s not forget about the heavenly hair wash and scalp massage that Mr. John gives!     My Curlpop experience was amazing, starting from my greetings to my goodbye. Leisbel made sure I was very comfortable from the min I walked in. She got to know who I am and what my believes are. Her professionalism was unmatched, she is really a goat at what she does. I went to the salon for my big chop and some highlights. I was nervous because I am fairly new to the curl world. But, she made it such a smooth transition that I did not even cry or anything. I LOVED the outcome and she was so sweet that she even taught me how to apply the products to my hair and how to diffuse it after. I have very tight curls, I am in the 4ā€™s hair type and one tip she taught me was to style my hair in smalls sections, followed by spraying water to each section when applying the styling product that way I can achieve the curls desired. I really loved her techniques, and since I am now part of the curl pop FAMILIA, we have developed a really good relationship. I Truly recommend her, totally worth it. šŸ’•

    I love this place! The whole experience is a vibe. Not only is my hair full, healthy, and thriving, but they really treat you like family. Isabella, John, and the rest of the curlpop family make your visit an experience. I drive an hour to see them and its so worth it. I love that Isabella shows you how to maintain your look at home so that youre not living in the salon. Some salons put you in a position where you have to see them every 4-6 wks, but curlpop will give you a cut that grows out really well so it can be much less maintenance. Theyre amazing and Im so happy I found them!

    The place to go for curly hair!!! I went to curlpop back in September of 2018 for my first curlpop cut! & my hair has flourish so well! This isnā€™t just a normal ā€œcurly cutā€ this is a beautiful experience, Isabella & Ana Maria are amazing! I recently went back in June for some highlights & a bang trim & Iā€™ve never been happier with my hair, I always recommend all my friends & family to her salon. I learn so much about my hair & I continue to see results even without being in the salon.     Curlpop! is really one of my favorite experiences. This salon is so much more than a cut, the work is amazing! Aleisbel, John and Curlpop team make up a dynamic team that give you an authentic welcome, great energy and exceptional work.I love my cuts and color every time. When I want to try something new Isa is ready to collaborate and help me bring my hair vision to life. I love my Curlpop bob and my long Curlpop equally. Maybe the short a touch more because you really get that ā€œPop!ā€ effect. The hardest decision is cut and color switch up because there is no worry about the outcome. When my hair is freshly touched by this team, people are literally stopping me to ask me about my hair.Also would like to add, this is a very small team that is doing everything themselves. I found Curlpop vĆ­a Instagram and put in a request and wait for approximately 4 months before my actual appointment. This was in 2018 and as Instagram following has grown Iā€™m sure the wait has as well. In that time I gathered up pictures of desired color/cut so I could be ready. I know it may seem like a long wait but, itā€™s worth it. Curly hair is a speciality and the right hands will help you so much in enjoying your hair.

    I cannot be more happy that i found CurlPop. My experience from the day i set up my appointment until the day of my appointment was amazing. John explained and booked my appointment, i even had fun scheduling my appointment. My favorite part of my session was when Aleisbel sat down in front of me to listen to my hair concerns and asking me questions of what i like and getting to know me, it was like the perfect personal touch that made my session unique. Aleisbel taught me how to maintain my curls, and i was very surprised with the paper towel trick! Trust me, it works better that anything else. I also learned how to properly diffuse. Bottom line, CurlPop rocks! and i cant wait for my next appointment so she can pop pop pop my curls!

    Curl pop is the best salon to go to if you have any type of curl! Every time I come I leave with my curls healthy and happy. I love to watch the curl pop cutting technique, this is not your average haircut! Curl pop designs your style to fit your curls and turns damaged frizzed out strands into Poppin spirals again!! This recent cut I was recommended to use a root lifting powder if you have longer heavy curls this helps keeps the roots of your hair from looking flat from all the weight. Iā€™m soo happy with my recent haircut although I have been coming here for 3 years every time comes out better and better.. Curlpop the Goat I recommend 10/10 !

    Curl pop has been my curl destination since 2018, we are family at this point. Isabella makes it a point to personally get to know her clients and makes your wish her command. Isa has been in the hair industry for a long time and is not afraid to tell you something is unachievable, hence keeping the integrity of your hair and making less profit.     Calling all Curly peeps ... listen up I had the pleasure of visiting the Curlpop salon this past Friday. I wanted a color that I knew only the Curlqueen herself could achieve without damaging my curls. She DEFINITELY Gave me what I was looking for. The service was top of the line as usual. Safety precautions were in full effect. (Temperature check before entering, mask on EVERYONE, clean sanitized space) Today is Wednesday 1-27/21 my visit was on 1/22/21.my hair is still POPINā€™. The pic by the pole is leaving the salon and the second one was this morning getting ready to head out. Definitely worth a visit if you have natural hair.

    I was on my way moving back to South Florida and my hair needed some serious help! Thank goodness for Curl Pop! My hair was so damaged from excess coloring and heat, it lost its curl and its pop.     I had such a great experience with curlpop! Prior I had a broken salon heart due to femme couiffe salon and aveda in Miami. When I got referred to curlpop! From @wickedhairwitch I gotta day even from first glance I felt at home!     I cannot find all the words to say how incredible the CurlPop experience and getting a Curlpop Cut is!!! Itā€™s not just a service, itā€™s a culture - you leave there more confident in yourself and your curly crown and with the knowledge and tools to maintain it! Thatā€™s why Iā€™ve gone back 3 times already! Through this experience Iā€™ve learned that sometimes less is more! No need to layer 8 products sometimes just one will do the trick!!     Always an amazing experience . Have been getting my haircuts with Isabella for almost four years and would not change her for the world . Being able to have a cut that can be style in different ways , be straighten and look great in every way is key and the Curlpop haircut gives you that and more . Oh and John is pretty amazing too !

    I had the pleasure of visiting this amazing place a while ago and have been wanting to write this review ever since. However, I am in law school, and it unfortunately has taken over my life. BUT I wanted to say WHAT AN EXPERIENCE!! From the moment I walked into the very end it was an experience. EVERYONE was so kind and made sure my experience was phenomenal. Aleisbel sensed I was having a hard time and she made sure that I was treated with care from the moment I walked in. I didnā€™t have to say much, she knew exactly what I wanted. Her hands are magic!! She made my hair so healthy, bouncy, and full! She is like the curl whisperer.The moment I walked in John greeted me and made me feel like family. The other lovely ladies also gave me a memorable experience and they were just so pleasant. ALSO, that head massage! WOW! Thatā€™s all I have to say. It is a MUST! Here, you do not just get a haircut, itā€™s a magical experience. I can keep going on how wonderful it all was.PLUS, it was nice to have a little essence of NY šŸ’™. I cannot wait to return!!

    Went in expecting a haircut. Got a whooooole educational experience. Curlpop taught me about the curls I really have; not what I thought I had. For the first time EVER I left a salon feeling like a movie star. Got the giant riotous mane of my dreams and it didnt take all day or cost my rent. They taught me what to use, how to use it, and where to get it even if its not through them. So not only did I leave there lookin fly, I can get my hair just as big and amazing by myself at home.

    I am IN LOVE!!! My curls have POPPED! I am transitioning in my curls and I just learned that creams and lotions are not for me yet and that gel is better. I learned how to apply and break the cast so that they look full and beautiful. If you want to learn how to work your curl, this is the place for you

    The most fun Ive ever had at a hair appointment! My favorite part was the scalp massage! Amazing! I learned alot about my hair, but what stuck out the most to me was that she didnt just chop off all of my hair because it was of a kinkier texture.     I got a curlpop cut in 2017 and havenā€™t went anywhere else since. I even did the BIG CHOP with Isabella šŸ˜±. The vibe is also fun and I feel revitalized once I leave.Curly hair tip: my favorite tip is for next day hair- wet it with water, add a little more product, then twist the frizzies with your finger and let air dry. I get the most compliments that way!
