    Yulia is a magician! My hair is very thin and fine and would sometimes airdry in beachy waves. Not a single curl on my head, or so I thought. One trip to Yulia and Ive got 2c everywhere and volume?! No one has EVER gotten my hair to do this and without hairspray too!

    Absolutely amazing for my waves!I have never loved my hair. It’s difficult. The first thing Yulia did was sit me in her chair and talk to me about what I liked and didn’t like about my hair. She then explained to me how we were going to achieve my goal. She took me step by step on how to style my hair. I was skeptical because I have never liked my curls but the results were amazing. I will be going back.She took her time to love my curls. She put my hair in sections and cut it carefully. Absolutely everything I love in a stylist.

    I’ve been going back to Julia for a few years now, and I must say there is no one better than Julia. Her work of art is incredible. I absolutely recommend to use Julia’s services if you want to love what you see in the mirror.     Yulia is not only a hair stylist - she is an artist of the highest caliber. After years of horrible haircuts as a curly haired girly (I know many can relate) I finally took the plunge and went to see a specialist and I’m so glad I did. Right when I stepped into her space I felt so welcome. Yulia’s bright attitude and kindness truly showed that she genuinely cares about her clients.     She turned an awful cut from another salon, into a stylish, professional, curly cut! Dont go anywhere else! If you cant get through this phone number, call Inspire by Mia and ask for Yulia by name! I will only share the after photos, but before was uneven, choppy, and embarrassing - but Yulia worked magic to turn it into flowing curls, and even took the time to *individually* select curls around the head, to cut to make the entire head of curls flow. She saved me right before an important formal ceremony for my husbands job... my hair went from mullet to model and Im so thankful. Worth her weight in gold. I cant thank her enough!Edit: I got so many compliments at the aforementioned ceremony on my curly red hair, and I cant thank Yulia enough for taking a bad haircut from another salon that left me looking ragged and disheveled, and turning it into a gorgeous flowing cut.     Like most people, Ive always dreaded and avoided getting my hair cut at salons out of fear they would chop it too short, or not style it properly, especially with curly hair. I took the plunge with Yulia after reading all the reviews and Im extremely happy that I found her! She kept the length of my hair, but layered it gorgeously. Her styling technique is top notch also. I couldnt believe how beautiful my natural hair looked. Ive never seen my curls so defined and bouncy and healthy looking. Ill definitely be returning to her from now on. She took the time to ask me about the history of my hair, my preferences, lifestyle ..etc .     Ive had my share of curly haircuts over the years with varying results. Ive gotten dry cuts, wet hair cuts, lopsided haircuts, too-short haircuts (and the resulting frizzy helmet hair), you name it. After my last disaster cut, I made it a point to search high and low for the best stylist. I was lucky to find Yulia through her IG (@CurlybyYulia) and loved her clients before and afters. I will say this without reservation: my haircut with Yulia has been by far the best! She LISTENS to the client, understands their likes/dislikes, and works her magic. The best way to describe the hair cut is: this is your hair at its best! I didnt leave there with a haircut that I cant style and maintain at home. She also taught me all the dos and donts for best styling. I am thrilled I found Yulia and know shell be my go-to stylist from now on. As a bonus, everyone at the salon was nice (from staff to other patrons). Another review mentioned that Yulia had to cancel their appointment (with little notice). The same happened to me. Once Yulia was back and feeling better, the salon worked to schedule me in very quickly. I genuinely appreciated that. Well worth the wait!

    Yulia has been cutting my hair for over 20 years and can honestly say she is the best at cutting my curly hair! She is an artist and I truly feel cutting hair (especially as curly as mine) is an art-not a science.     Yulia saved my springy spirit! I had been chemically straightening my curly hair for 2 years - it was long and heavy and I desperately needed a change. I was convinced I had to chop it all off but as Yulia began working with my hair she saw I had waves and knew the curls would come (her words 🥰) She expertly did her thing and lo and behold I have beautiful beach waves with a shoulder length summer happy cut that we’ll manage as my curlier roots start to grow out.     I have suffered for years with bad Haircuts done by stylists that think theres no difference between curly and straight hair.Yulia took the time to listen to my ideas, look at my hair, make suggestions and together we decided on a direction. I have problem thinning, fine curly hair. I walked out of the salon looking like I had a full head of hair in a style I love.The salon in Fort Lauderdale is two hours from my house, and the trip was worth it.     Wooowwwww!!! Im soooo in LOVE with my hair!!! This is the first time Ive ever left a salon and absolutely LOVED my haircut. Yulia is without a doubt gifted at what she does.     I traveled over 100 miles to have my hair cut and styled by Yulia. She’s amazing. She takes her time to listen to what you want out of your experience with her and gives suggestions. She tells you what she’s doing and what products she’s using and will give you a tutorial on how she styled your hair.     I have been straightening my hair with keratin treatments for almost 15 years. About 8 months ago I decided to grow it out and let my hair go back to the natural curl.     She knows her curly hair. I have never been able to walk out of a salon with my hair cut to wear curly, and be ready to go anywhere. Usually when people cut my hair they want to straighten it. If its not straightened they cut it and just leave it wet and unstyled. I have to always go home first to fix my hair before I can go out anywhere. In other words, they are clueless about curly hair.     My hair salon was booked and I needed my hair fixed STAT so I decided to try out CurlyBYYulia. Its a good thing I did because it was the hair salon I never knew I needed! If you think your hair is nice now, wait until you go here. I felt truly transformed into a better, more natural me!

    First went to Yulia in 2004, and was a bit concerned when a blonde Russian showed up to cut my very curly hair. But at the time I figured it couldnt get any worse. She cut my hair with my back to the mirror, and when I finally turned around it was magic. I had beautiful, shine ringlets, no pyramid in sight.Ive been coming back to Yulia ever since, and while it requires a journey, its so worth it. Shes so good I only need a cut once a year. Ive made the mistake of trying other Ouidad salons (who shall not be named) and been left with massive frizz and mini pyramids. There is ONLY one stylist for me and were at 15 years and counting. Ill follow her where ever she goes.Did I mention I was trying to get a product and her salon didnt have it, so she personally picked it up, I mean seriously? Im not going anywhere else, and I cant recommend her highly enough. XOXOXOX
