    This school is awesome! I went for a cut and balayage and it came out awesome. Im pretty sure the instructor was Ms. Jones and the student who did my hair was Bathy (not sure if thats how you spell it). They were both awesome. It came out beautifully!! You must stop by!

    Ive been coming here with my daughters son and mother for a few years now for our hair upkeep,but Id never tried a facial. When I tell you I didnt know what I was missing! The atmosphere was so quiet and calming I felt like a pampered baby. I will be coming back to keep my skin nourished. This school is truly a gem in the area that shouldnt be overlooked. My esthetician (future) was amazing these ladies have clearly been taught by one of the best felt as if I had a glass of wine for my face(relaxed). Thank you so much for my services. You Wont Be Disappointed

    I came as a nail tech student. I started off with the bulkiest nails ever and a whack polish application but Ms. Nicky the daytime nail tech teacher helped me achieve beautiful applications.

    Florida h Academy of Health & Beauty Oakland Park is one of the best hair schools I’ve been to. I called to make an appointment for service, but it close to the students’ lunch; however, they accommodated me, which I am incredibly grateful for. When I arrived, I immediately noticed how clean and organized the facility was. Ms. Nancy, Ms. Tracy, and their morning classes were friendly and attentive. In addition, from observing the interactions, I can tell that the instructors and students care about their students, peers, and clients. Their knowledge and love of hair are apparent in their work. Thank you again for helping me bring my hair back to life.

    Walking into the academy the first time, I had no idea what to expect!! But as soon I walked in, the energy was awesome!! Miss V showed me around and I was extremely impressed by how much knowledge she had and how much space/resources the school provides! There are clearly many talented people that come from this school. I cannot wait to start my nail technician program. Thanks for showing me around and being so welcoming!!

    This school is a good and positive environment to learn and be in. The staff and teachers here really cares about you, and will always be willing to help. My nail teacher Ms. Nicky was a wonderful teacher and will go out her way for her students. She makes should you are learning. I will miss my class and teach for sure. Nail tech students get a kit, but somethings in it could be better tbh.

    I completed the Nail Technician program and my teacher Mrs. A was wonderful. She was patient, very knowledgeable, and had a great attitude. The night class hours were perfect to fit my busy schedule and the cost was very affordable.

    Florida Academy of Health and Beauty is the Academy I attended and they helped me to obtain my license in cosmetology. The Cosmetology instructor Mrs Jones has may years of experience in the hair industry with her the office staff (Essence) and the the Owner (Mr. Thompson) they all make sure that you are on track and prepared for the next steps. I would definitely recommend the school for all your beauty education!!

    My mother suggested that I try this hair school for a nice wash and twist of my natural hair. As soon as I walked in, Ms. V greeted me. She was very warm and friendly. My hair tech was Leticia. She was very professional and sweet. She had me in and out. The professionalism and service here was awesome. The prices were reasonable. I highly recommend!

    Its been a wonderful experience over the last 18 months of using multiple services ranging from hair braiding, styling and cutting to waxing; face, underarms and my favorite with the facials ,from the cosmetology department where to date I have had 4 different procedures with different students under the instruction of super fab Mrs. Shae with excellent results. My skin and once upon a time problematic t zone and big pores have reduced dramatically, I receive compliments continuously on how clear and full of vitality it appears to be now. Its a half day of self love and pampering as the students take there time and do so much to make sure you have a great experience. The school is producing a fierce group of trained young professionals. Check it out.

    FAHB was the best school choice I’ve ever made . I started off at another school and stop going there because it felt like it wasn’t for me, I moved up to lauderhill and found this school, seen that it was blacked owned and immediately requested info, they got back to me almost immediately and I was enrolled the next week as a full specialist. This school and the staff is so accommodating, I’ve had a lot of things happen in the time that I’ve been there and they’ve understood and even helped me and gave me the proper advice to move forward with my schooling. I’ve learned so much being in the school, I love the family friendly environment and how they make you feel so comfortable, like you’re a part of their family to . I really suggest making this your first choice school ! Thank you again to the FAHB staff for making me feel like family and helping getting started on my future career!

    This school is very family oriented and a very nice place to get serviced. They do anything from nails to facials to hair color. The information being taught there is very thorough and adequate. Definitely better than a lot of schools I’ve been to.

    Had a family reunion and needed a makeover. In cosmetology, I Had a twenty-eight piece installed which was then whimsically cut into a pixie. I dashed to another part of the academy for 3D lash strips, pedicure and a full set of nails...finished with time to pick up a new jumper and catch my flight to the west coast. Needless to say, I Pushed Through! YAASSSS!!! The the rest is history!Thank you FAHB♡♡♡

    Best experience ever! From friendly front desk to the gentleman that cut my hair got tons of experience and the lady that shampoo and condition my hair really took her time and did a better job than most fancy professional salons.Thank you all! I will be back in a few weeks! :-)

    Im a guy that dont care to get his hair done. base on the time it takes and really dont care for stlyes because it gives me a head ache almost automatically. TODAY I got referred to this school and I completely loved it. The Skill set was AWSOME. I hardly felt her in my hair. retwistng and it came out strong, i wish I knew how to spell her name A-NI-JAH. VERY FAST I must add. lets then 2 hrs to wash dry and retwist. my hair usually takes 2+ with out wash.another student stlye my hair. and NO head Ache. and I got 6 braids and even offered to redo it.

    The waxing services are of such a high standard , having experienced the same services of hair removal in London, Paris, New York , Miami beach and Ft. Lauderdale. I would never had dreamed the best experience and results for a Bikini wax without discoloration to my skin pigments would have come from F.A.H.B lasting 7 weeks and with very little discomfort because of the technique and instruction provided by there world traveled Staff. A simple thing such as stretching the skin and placing the free hand on the area being treated. Awesome at a fraction of the price and with a $20 tip. Its the place to go.
