    February 19, 2025 I walked into Heavenly hair Salon (HSH) in Oakland Park, Florida.Immediately I was greeted by Shannon. She greeted me and I asked about my hair and if she could take me on as a client. They’re sitting with a young lady & she says my mom is the best.I booked appointment for February 26 of 2025.She listened to my needs and preferences she thoroughly assessed my hair type.She provided suggestions based on face shape, communicates effectively, she execute the desired cut and color with precision is skilled in various techniques while also making me feel comfortable throughout the appointment.Shannon delivers high-quality work attention to detail and commitment to excellence are clearly reflected in her work.     Tina is very good at her work! Super neat, professional, and nice! I met her back at a Camille Rose photoshoot a few years ago and kept in touch since then.     I wish to take this opportunity to thank Shannon and Fernanda in the repair of a dark brown hair color that a Lauderdale-by-the Sea salon placed onto my 87 year old mom. We are first time winter guests staying for four months in the area. Its really not possible to know who to go to for great cut and color and who is not when you are not from this area or have local friends to consult. We are staying a few blocks from Heavenly Hair By Shannon. I casually walk by Heavenly Hair By Shannon salon - Google ratings (4.9 stars). Likewise, I walked by the not so good for my mom Lauderdale-by-the Sea salon with Google ratings (4.4 stars). I spoke with Shannon a day after the dark brown color was applied by the Lauderdale-by-the Sea salon. Shannon listened to my concerns and of my moms grief. I showed Shannon before and after pictures of my moms hair and asked if she could fix the color. She said yes. I could tell Shannon worked my mom into her tight schedule. Today, my mom had her hair color repaired by Fernanda. My mom was amazed that her hair color by Heavenly Hair by Shannon is even better than she receives in Wisconsin. I share our experience with you, people who want to read real reviews. The high Google reviews of Heavenly Hair by Shannon are accurate. Shannon is the owner. She is a mentor. She teaches. Shannon and Fernanda are amazing and my mom will return for cut and color/highlights until she returns to Wisconsin in late March. Thank you Shannon.     Ive been coming here for 3 years and I must say that both Betina and Shay are the best. Ive had natural straight styles, traditional sew-ins and braids, and have been very pleased. Great atmosphere and environment. Truly recommend.

    This is my second time going to Shay to get my hair done. The first time was a deep treatment without a style. The second time was a silk press.Let me begin with my skepticism in allowing the nowadays stylists to touch my natural coils. I have tried and many have failed me. However, Shay exceeded my expectations. She handled my very thick natural hair with ease and care. She is a CARE-stylist! Lol!Shay looked at my hair to see what I needed and also listened to my input as a customer with what I wanted. Absolute professionalism and exceptional guest service. She had a great blend of knowing eat the client wants and staying within the bounds to honor their requests while keeping the integrity of the hair.     I’ve been coming to this salon monthly since the beginning of the year. I absolutely love this hair salon!! Shannon is master of her craft. Extremely knowledgeable and honest about what is best or not best for your hair. The salon is sooo clean and she uses some of the best techniques & technology I’ve seen.     The ladies at this salon were a lifesaver! They were able to get me bridesmaid ready and save the day!They were professional, worked diligently and the salon was filled with great energy.Shannon, the owner, was able to get me scheduled into a same day appointment and was so kind.Betina, my stylist, came in on short notice to help me & she slayed my sew-in, color & install.     Shannon was truly heavenly sent. My hair was jacked up by another hair stylist and I need to rock a wig until my hair grows back.     One of a kind experience it was for my mother. My mothers hair had been treated by another stylist and here comes fernanda to the rescue! Since it was damaged to a point of no return, the treatment fernanda gave her was top tier. Not only dyeing,trimming,blowing and correcting (etc)...her hair she also educated my mother on how to get a better quality of her at the age of 71. Also she treated my mother like she was her own with great customer service. Will recommend and will also use her service once again.

    I have been going to Shannon for about 2 years now and she is an amazing hair stylist. She has such good recommendations on styles and when I show her photos she always makes it happen. Throughout my hair journey with Shannon my hair has gotten thicker, longer and fuller and all around way healthier. I have always had issues with the middle of my hair being thin and shorter then the rest so it was thick but never full and with Shannon everything has now grown out even. I trust her hair recommendations completely whether it’s a hair cut, a sew in, changing up my style. She is the best for all hair types and will help you reach for hair goals!

    I found Shannon three years ago when I asked a stranger at Mizner Park with a really great haircut and color who her stylist was — and she said “Heavenly Hair by Shannon.” I have been very happily coming to her ever since!     Wow wow wow wow wow!! Where do I begin! This establishment is a 10 all the way around. From customer service to the services offered. From the time I set up the consultation Shannon was 100% honest and sweet. She asked me about my hair goals and gave me ideas on what would be best for me. She honestly took her time listening to my wants and needs. When I arrived everyone of the hair stylist were warm, welcoming and hilarious!     I was attracted to Shannons salon when I read on the website that she has her own line of vegan, plant-based hair products. I arrived with dried-up, stringy, pandemic hair. Shannon gave me a great haircut and deep conditioning treatment, and my hair smelled fantastic afterwards (not yucky perfume smell, but natural fresh smell)!     I have to give props where props are due. Last year, I got a perm that broke all of my hair off & I was devastated & embarrassed to show it. So I made an appt with my cousin Shannon Gary Dawkins. She said trust me & asked me to give her a year. She advised me to ( very adamantly lol) NOT to let nobody else touch your hair & I promise me that shell get my hair back on track.
