I had a wonderful experience at the Iyata Kinky Roots salon!! Every one of their braiders is highly skilled. I made an appointment and I did not have to wait a long time. The lady that washed my hair did a phenomenal job. My Braider Sue-Anne who was highly recommended, brought my hair back to life. I left the salon with my hair blowing in the breeze. I will definitely come back again. 👏💕

I came today on february 9th and was booked with suean (pronounced like “soo-ann”). im always nervous about getting my hair done because i have traction alopecia and i’m new to pampering myself, so i’m not ever sure about what may be flattering. suean was such a blessing to my hair and this experience. she was patient and extremely helpful (i was coloring my locs for the first time, but was not aware i had to bring the color. suean walked with me to the hair store and helped me to decide what i wanted, while emphasizing to do what my heart desired as i would be the one rocking the style.). ultimately, we streaked some color through my locs and she completed a beautiful petaled mohawk and i am so pleased and thankful. the vibe in the store is very family-oriented and everyone was kind and incredibly skillful!! shout outs to susan who washed my hair and cleaned my scalp to what felt like humming perfection!! thank you!!!

Soo today I came to get my hair done because I’ve been wanting to have Ms.Sue-and do my hair and today she finally touched my hair and I love it. 😊 The customer service is amazing she will definitely be the only one touching this scalp 😊 Thank you GIRL

Very satisfied with the hair treatment & services I get at this salon. Very fair prices. Walk ins welcome. These ladies are very helpful and very creative with hairstyles. Kids hair also!

I love the stylist work ethics she is always punctual , professional, and NEVER over charges for services rendered, wi have been visiting her for over 3 months and she brought my hair back to life i suggest any and all to request this stylist if you you want high quality service which brings damaged hair to its full potential and makes good hair GREAT..
