Ive been doing my hair here for the past 2 years! My recommendation for this barbershop is to definitely give it a try! The staff is friendly, and they really know what theyre doing. Have to say, the guy who left the last review, I was there, and he was recording all of us without permission . I felt very uncomfortable! Diego’s reaction was correct.

First time in the shop hoping for a quick beard shape up. When when i walked in multiple barbers made eye contact and said hello and made me feel very comfortable in the shop for my first time. Five minute wait, and Igor with the best beard in the house sat me down in his chair for a top notch beard shape up. He was extremely professional, well mannered, knowledgeable, and skilled.. Looking sharp for the weekend now thanks to Igor and Joe’s barbershop.

I moved here from Maryland and was in need for a barber asap. I found this barbershop next to my gym. I’ve been going to Danny and haven’t looked back since. He takes his time for each cut and I’ve never had an issue with my skin fades. The shop has an old school vibe that is very welcoming. Highly recommend!

When I first moved to Fort Lauderdale I struggled for a solid year to find a good barber shop that wasn’t ridiculously over priced and had good barbers. I’ve been coming to Joes for about 2 years now and I’m just as happy as I was when I got my first cut. Every barber is amazing and the atmosphere is great. I’ve had some success here since first going to Joe’s a few years ago. I’ll likely keep going. You’ll be directed to an open chair and 20 minutes later you’re done. Cash only. ATM on-site. If you like the cut, stick with that barber on future visits. You can call ahead to check availability. I deviated from that, my usual barber wasn’t on. I got a bad cut and unhappy. But, it will grow back. And, I’ll likely go back.

Let me just say that I left my barber of 15+ years and found the most reliable barbershop right in my backyard. This places has been open for YEARS and there’s a reason why. Very clean and professional. Caters to all kinds of haircuts & ages which most barber shops don’t. My main guy is Danny but honestly have been cut by most the barber’s in the shop. Everyone’s consistent and talented, they accommodate walk ins and respect your time. No waiting hours behind people that aren’t even there. It’s difficult to find consistency in this business and I’m thrilled that I dont have to worry about that anymore. I always look good and FEEL good after leaving here, the way it should be!

This is one of the best barber shops in South Florida. Danny has cut my hair here for years now, and has NEVER chipped me up, not even once. They are friendly and clean, and if you dont want to wait for Danny or Jose there are many other skilled barbers that are employed here. There is a Chinese food place in the same plaza with decent food. If there is a wait I usually grab a bite to eat here, and by the time Im finished eating its my turn in the chair. I highly recommend this place.

This is a customer oriented barbershop with reasonable prices. On top of it, the hair styles they create are phenomenal and trendy. I had been in Florida for 2 years and I could not find an appropriate barber for me. Since I found them, I wouldnt have to go around and find an excellent barbershop, but to stick with them. I went over to get a cut for the very first time, the barber seemed like he hated working there and was rushing to finish the cut, towards the end when I asked him to take a little of the top he was annoyed at the question and showed clear discontent that I was making him cut more of my hair. I will say the shop itself was clean, walked in on a Saturday mid day and got seated right away so this place isnt terrible and the cut despite the barbers demeanor came out nice. I would just say to focus on customer service a little more. I will be returning and trying out another barber and see how that goes.( MY ORIGINAL REVIEW IS ON TOP)As promised I returned to Joes for another cut with a different barber. Let me just say it was the best cut I have ever received, I quickly changed my 3 stars to 5 stars and had to edit my previous review. Luis is the man when it comes to fades & overall cut. I Just went to Joes barber shop today for the first time. Actually, it is the first time for me in a barber shop since I was a little kid. I am growing my first beard at 55 yo. I have always had a young face and it was time to grow up. I saw KAT who was very patient with me and worked with me to get the right cut for me. I didnt even feel rushed when a recurring customer of hers came in to wait for her and she still took her time to do what was needed. This young man was also very patient and I thanked him when I was done. It was actually comforting to know that someone was waiting for Kat whom I had never met. It meant she would do a great job. Everyone else in the shop was great and friendly as well. It had a good vibe. I was greeted when I arrived and told it may take 20 to 30 minutes. I was good with that but it only ended up being 10. I also was accidentally given the wrong change and returned the $5.00. I think it may have been Diego, thanked me for my honesty. I was impressed that he takes notice of all that is going on around him. Being a manger myself, that is a natural gift. You cant learn that. It means you pay attention to your people and customers. NO more hair stylist for me. I will be going there as long as I am here in Lauderdale. THANK YOU
