*Composing this on DAY 2 and my naturally curly hair hasn’t reverted back to its usually frizzy state per South Florida’s humidity (which it usually does after it’s straightened ). I couldn’t be happier with the results! Jennifer is officially my new stylist for life! Best $300 I’ve ever spent not to mention the additional $89 hair products I walked away with to maintain my new glam.

Service: Silk press with steam treatment. I had not been to a salon in over six years. I used Jennifer before and she did an awesome job years ago. I went back to her because my hair needed a cut and some tlc and I trusted her to do this. I had major split ends and my hair was dry and uneven. She worked her magic again. She took her time with my hair and gave me the perfect cut. The entire process was so relaxing and I really felt she understood my hair concerns. Her establishment was very clean and the ambience/decor inside was very tranquil. Picture shown is the initial cut to my desired length but not the final cut/style.

I’ve been going to Just Relax salon since 2013. Jennifer has played an integral part in my natural hair journey. Not only does she educate you on your hair type, but the products that will protect and grow your hair. Wonderful experience. The vibe makes you feel like you are in an R&B video. Jennifer is very knowledgeable about hair and she shares. She caters your visit to your specific hair type. She even asked me what my hair goals are. Needless to say I don’t have to look for another hairstylist because I found a woman who majors in hair.

Jennifer is a great stylist who focuses on healthy hair and savvy cutting techniques. She has a niche for styling and maintaining natural or relaxed hair. She takes the time to listen to the client while providing expert insight to assist the client in their final styling selection. I have very fine hair that doesnt do well in humidity. Jennifer did an awesome job styling my hair naturally curly and giving me a thermal press upon request. Jennifer was quick to tell me that I should not get a thermal press more than twice a year to maintain my natural curl pattern and I truly appreciated her honesty.In addition to being a great stylist, Jennifer is very timely and works to ensure that the client has a great experience. I highly recommend Jennifer for all of your hair styling needs.

Ive had a great experience with Jennifer! Shes been my stylist for a few years. For a while I kept my hair the same. She finally convinced me step outside my shell. She cut my hair and colored it. My hair is so healthy & looks great! What I love the most about Jennifer is she takes you on a healthy journey with your hair without sacrificing your hair personality. After spending lots of time trying to find a great stylist in the South Florida area, I found Jennifer and I’ve been going to Just Relax Salon for almost 10 years. Jennifer and her team are friendly and accommodating. They are 100% capable of managing all types of hair. Jennifer has taken my hair from pixie cut length to below shoulder length, various color treatments, hair extensions and she has styled my hair for my wedding. The salon is focused on healthy hair and it shows in every visit. My hair has made wonderful transformations in Jennifer’s care.

Just Relax Hair and Salon is amazing. There aren’t enough words in the English language to say about Jennifer and Patricia. They care about you as a person and they care about your hair even more. Jennifer will not lie to you about anything. She’s very truthful and she has your best interest at heart. I was so against cutting my hair but she made me feel so comfortable about cutting my hair. She educated me about hair care and products and what’s best for my hair. Her work is phenomenal. In a short time my hair is growing like a weed and it looks healthy and fabulous. Jennifer is amazing! Not only is she a stylist but she is a teacher. My daughter has very thick, long curly natural hair. I have always struggled to keep it moisturized. Within the last year it became extremely dry and matted easily. With only one treatment I could see the difference. The products works and I no longer dread washing her hair. If you need help or just regular maintenance for your natural hair, this is the place to come. It is worth it. Thank you Jennifer.

I did a-lot of research for a Trichologist. Fortunately I found this salon and spa. Jennifer was very professional and took a holistic approach when providing suggestions on how to address my concerns. The recommendations werent cookie cutter and she considered my specific needs. I went to several other medical professionals who attempted to treat the symptoms rather than address the root problem of it all(no pun intended :)). The questions Jennifer asked during the consultation helped me pinpoint what factors contributed to the state of my hair. The best part of my experience was she encouraged me to prioritize my wellbeing so that I can prepare for lifes transitions all of which affects a persons hair (post-partum, menopause, medical treatment etc.) Ive gained some helpful tips and knowledge on how to ensure my hair is healthy and I am looking forward to beginning my hair care journey with Jennifer!

Its so hard to find a well rounded stylist that is an expert in her craft and humble enough to focus on a niche. Her salon is clean and shes very efficient. I found my new stylist! Since being back in FL from 2017, i have not found a stylist who can provide guidance as well as provide detail care and attention to my hair. Jennifer and her assistant Trish were phenomenal! My whole experincelike from beginning to end felt like a dream. I the shampoo chair that I was super relax once i was settled into the shampoo chair. I was anxious about coming because of past experiences but through a reference from a friend and the pictures of Jennifers work via her Instagram, i felt comfortable enough to book a silk press treatment and hair cut that was much needed. I will be returning to Jennifer soon and excited about using her oil and vitamins. Thank you so much for reviving my hair and for being so kind. I definitely recommend!

I have been natural all my life and every hair dresser i went to the only thing they had to offer me was to straighten my hair. I have been going to Just Relax Hair Salon for years when I first started with her I had extreme hair loss due to Seborriac Dermatitis and Traction alopecia . During that time period I have been educated on what’s best to use for my hair and what would cause more damage. I’m natural. I’m working on my hair’s moisture level & keeping my hair healthy year round. I go to Just Relax Salon to get my yearly silk press. At first, my yearly press was all I thought I needed as I would also get a trim. But I realized I have not been taking care of my hair on my own as I once did in the past, like I should be. I‘m a flight attendant so that alone takes my time and my moisture. So I’ve decided it was time to buckle down. I’m committing to going (at least) quarterly now to get a hydration/moisturizing treatment. I love the professional steamer she has. I love her knowledge of black hair & products. I also love that she has no problem sharing said knowledge.

I got a relaxer, treatment and trim from Just Relax, and my hair feels and looks unbelievable! My stylist, Relik, does my hair like no one else on this planet. Not only does he make sure my hair is SLAYED, but the scalp massage he does with the shampoo...👏👏👏😍 I come in a stressed out nursing student and I leave feeling amazing, every single time. My previous stylists have nothing on this man. Go to Just Relax and Salon and spa and ask for Relik; I promise you wont regret it 😉 Get some Relik in your life!
