    We had a great 1st experience! The salon itself is a beautiful space that is fresh, new, well kept and provided ample seating. All of the staff was super sweet, welcoming, and knowledgeable. My son was going from long curly hair to locs and Terri did a wonderful job doing instant locs and styling. She has a great personality and is good at communicating and easy to talk to. Also Lisette was very sweet and provided a nice wash that almost put little man to sleep. Simone has great energy and was boosting my guy up with his finished style.

    I’m honestly surprised there is not more reviews. I got goddess cornrows, I’m not sure if that’s the official name but that’s what I coined them as and I LOVE my hair. I believe the price was affordable, the service was pretty good, and I was out in a reasonable time. For aftercare, I use the mousse that I got on sale at the shop (still worth it at full price) and the shop’s hair oil that was gifted to me by a friend. I’m excited to start my journey to having a really big Afro and I’m grateful that I got to start my journey here.

    Today is my 3rd visit and each time is a wow factor! The customer service is on point, the vibe is right and just the physical and overall aesthetics is so inviting. As for my beautiful sister locks, it thrives because of the best care it gets on every visit‼️ indeed a #trendsetter!

    Went in for a consultation with Trudy on Saturday. The shop was clean and the staff was polite and lively, I was greeted immediately.Came back a few days later and recieved great hair tips on my natural hair coupled with EXCELLENT service!Will DEFINITELY be back!!

    This salon is amazing! Simone is my loctician (& hair therapist) and she knows my hair better than I do! She started my locs 20 years ago and taught me how to care for my beautiful Nubian hair. Now, shes helping me transition to the next level of my life with an updated look for my locs. I am now and will forever be a Natural Trendsetter, as the Lord preserves my life. #NaturalTrendSetters

    I absolutely LOVE this place and the entire vibe! Its a safe space, which is always appreciated. Trudy groomed my locs and I love her energy! She had positive energy flowing and she was so nice and gentle with my locs. I never get my locs styled because I am tender headed and I hate my locs being pulled. She styled my hair and I promise, I could not tell she was styling my hair! I love it here!

    I have never walked into a salon and felt so at home and so comfortable until the day I came to this one. I never knew that a hair stylist could be so quick and so perfect in my life until I came to Trudy. This is the best salon I’ve ever been to in all of south Florida and I’m happy to say it’s the one for me. The best service and customer service by far. Amazing how energy from all the ladies there especially Simon. 10/10 coming back thank you so much the amazing and quick experience. I’ll be back soon :)

    My hair feels and looks great every time. Service is consistently 5 star with each visit. Store also sells the hair products to support the growth and maintenance of my natural hair. A one stop shop for hair beauty. A must location especially for natural hair.

    Simone has been styling and caring for my hair since 1993. She has what I call gifted growing hands because she kept my hair long, thick and healthy. When I first started going to Simone, my hair was permed. However, I’ve been natural for the past 7 years. Today she did a silk press on my hair and it was unbelievably straight without all of the harsh chemicals used when perming. I am so happy with my silk press. I am even happier that I did not have to subject my hair to harsh products to achieve the look I wanted. If anyone is searching for a natural hair care salon, I HIGHLY recommend NATURAL TREND SETTERS where you will receive extraordinary service in a clean, harmonious environment and you will be very satisfied with the outcome of your hair.     I haven’t had the service yet since I only called to make the appointment. The young woman on the phone was very professional. I’m excited to get my hair done there because a business that understands the importance of making a great first impression, is definitely a place I want to support. I will come back and update my review in September after Simone does my hair.

    Since the first I went to Natural Trendsetter I had the best experience ever, my stylist Natalie is amazing she takes her time and I always leave there totally happy. The staff is very nice, the place is clean and since the Covid they follow the rules 100% . And the place is always cool and comfy. As long as they are around they will always have my business and I will recommend them.

    Consultation...The shop is contemporary with an old school feel. 70s soul music is relaxing, and the shop is spacious . I felt welcome. I will certainly be back. Stay tuned....

    I have been getting styled by Natural Trendsetters for the last 3 years and could not be anymore pleased with my experience. I make the drive from Miami to Tamarac because of the consistency and quality of service. I enjoy the relaxed vibe of the space and how friendly and accommodating the staff is each time. The salon owners, Simone and Trudy, have been specializing in natural hair care for 20 years and bring that experience, education and creativity to clients.I love that they have created their natural hair care line, Royal Coils, which is high quality and well priced. The pomade, mousse and herbal spray work wonders on my hair and help to retain moisture for 4-5 days!

    I love Simone as a stylist and she did a way better job with my hair than NatalieShe was low key unpleasant to me. But I always try to bring the best out of people she gave me the exact same hairstyle she gave her first client which the woman looked 55. I wanted to look like I was in my 20s flat iron with exotic hair style. I left with a hair style looking like when a person gets their hair perm for the first time I looked 15.

    In all my years of having curly hair and trying to get by with the haircuts, styling, coloring etc, I am so happy to have found a salon that I trust in all aspects of my hair care, Natural Trendsetters!Each time I go in I am educated on different services that could benefit my hair, without feeling pressured into it. The information is given for me to take and use if desired. All of the staff are beyond professional and experts in natural hair care.The service I had today, a wash and cut, prompted me to leave a review. After explaining my desired cut, Alexis and Nataliee listened and then guided me into exactly what I was trying to achieve. Honestly, they knew better than I knew what I wanted and took it to another level! Nataliee provided my cut with pure confidence, and brought back the volume and shape Ive been missing for years. I thought my hair texture had changed and it was incapable of producing the big curly look that I had in my younger years-- I was wrong! After Nataliee cut my hair, it is back and more beautiful than ever.Ive been going to Natural Trendsetters for a couple of years now. I trust them 100% with my hair and my daughters hair. It is the only salon that my 5 year old does not cry hysterically at. She is at peace, enjoys the conversation with the stylists, and asks to go see them again regularly. Special recognition to Nataliee, Alexis, Simmone, Kadijah and Nikki.

    I was recommended here by close peoples of the shop, and no regrets. A lot of locticians just do locs and send you home, but there is a certain level of care put into hair health here that stands out from other shops. Love it here and would definitely come back for another retwist. Simone and Trudy are great!

    Alicia was very attentive to my hair and scalp, she kept explaining what she was about to put on my hair and why. I got highlights and colored my gray roots from her today, she understood the assignment for sure. I just moved from PA to FL 3 months ago and needed a salon. Thank you, I will be back❤

    I love this place so much!!! They take care of you. Its like walking into a friends house that youve known all your life (even if it is your first time). The conversation is always good. The atmosphere is always popping. The hair stylist here know what they are doing.*Get your hair washed with the Tea Tree Shampoo. TREAT YOURSELF.

    I love this place! They keep ya hair right, and make sure they know YOU. All of the hair specialist ( thats what I call them because they do more than style your hair hontea mkay) will treat you like family.     This is the the only place in town where you go from being a client to feeling like family! Simone, Trudy and the rest of the staff at NTS learn your hair story and make sure to specialize your hair regiment based on YOUR needs. They also host events throughout the year to educate the community at large on self love and hair care. There’s no where else I would go, and no one else I’d ever let touch my hair.

    Love love this place. I dont just have o e stylist here. It just depends on what Im doing. Simone styles my natural hair, and then gave me my favorite short tapered cut. I dont think Ill grow my hair back ever! Natalie blows my natural out or sets it just how I like.

    First time going manager Shawn was very nice and accommodating and wash and also detangle my hair he did an excellent job. Stylist Toni was very nice and did a great job styling my hair and gave me great hair advice I would definitely recommend going to her

    After 10 years of not seeing a professional hairstylist to do my Locs. I finally decided to try out this amazing spot. I did my research and made an appointment. When I arrived I was greeted with such welcome by management and stylist. The wait time was superb because I was seen as soon as they were open. I was seen by Elke who added her creative touch and brought my Locs life. Elke schooled me on my locs and I enjoyed every moment. I can say after today Ive found my home for my boys and I.
