    Took my daughter here for a haircut with Natalie, and we both loved everything about the whole experience. She has gorgeous curls, and we finally found someone skilled to give her a gorgeous cut that gave her layers, shape, volume, and made her hair feel healthy. Everyone was so friendly, the service was great and welcoming. We will definitely be coming back.

    Thank you Tracy for the amazing curly cut! I have been receiving curly cuts for years and wanted to try out this location. I really needed saving given that my curls were so flat and heavy. She gave me a great moisturizing treatment, hair cut and styling which lasted me several days. I appreciate the tips to maintain my hair in between cuts and am looking forward to my next appointment!!

    This was my second visit to Natalie. Shes wonderful! She takes time to find out exactly what I want, and offers great advice to help me get beautiful curls. If you have curly hair, you know how important the right haircut is. Plus, Natalie takes the time to show me how to style my hair to get great curls after I leave the salon.Everyone at the salon is friendly and its a great experience overall.     I wanted to have better volume with my curls so I gave Ouidad Salon a try.Natalie was my stylist and she gave me a cut that helped my curl volume. She not only listened to my concerns but also explained how to style my hair to achieve more volume. I left the salon looking amazing and when I did my hair the next day I noticed a wonderful change in volume.The way that they shampooed and conditioned my hair was very nice and relaxing.I would definitely recommend going to this salon.

    I had the pleasure of being taken care of by Tracy, Joy and Natalie today, what a great experience! All of them were extremely knowledgeable and gave me so many tips and tricks that will help me take care of my curls! Also, what a transformation!!! It was my first time visiting a curly hair salon, i’ve always struggled to find salons that know how to cut and style my hair. Let me tell you, this is the place to be if you want to see the true beauty of what your curls can be and embrace your natural hair!     Everyone was extremely friendly and accommodating. The salon is very beautiful and they take great care of you! I loved the hot lavender towels, the reclining chair for diffusing (iykyk), and the tea options.     I had the best salon experience ever. This was my first time here, I went in for a curly hair cut. Cassie was my hair stylist, she was very friendly and did a great job.She asked me what I wanted and gave me suggestions as well. She also recommended products for my hair type and gave me tips.The salon itself is beautiful, they have a lounge area with some snacks, water and coffee.All the staff were nice.     If you have curly, frizzy, unmanageable hair, you must pay a visit to Ouidad Salon! I had an absolutely fantastic experience here. I was immediately greeted by extremely friendly front desk and hair washing staff which gave me such a warm welcoming feeling. My consultation with Camillo was incredible and Chadwick the curly hair guru is outstanding. They took me through a curly hair crash course and for the first time in my life I was able to understand my hair AND appreciate it.     Ive never been to a place dedicated to curly hair and was incredibly impressed. The atmosphere and service was beyond anything I have experienced at a salon, with complimentary drinks, nice music and comfortable seating. Everyone I interacted with was incredibly kind and ensured to walk me through every step of my wash, haircut and style. My hairstylist was Natalie and she did an amazing job; I didnt think that my hair could curl the way that she made it curl. Not only was she kind and easy to talk to, but she ensured that I walked out of the salon knowing ways to take care of my hair on my own. The only potential con that I would note is that the price ranges of the services are a bit on the pricey side, but I expect that to be due to the fact that this is a salon with specialized stylists and products.

    LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE! My hair looks amazing! Never seen my curls pop like this. EVER. Yvette is a great curl expert with a keen eye to which products work best on your personal hair texture and which cut works best on your face shape. She also gave great pointers on how to maintain my hair, as I live too far from the salon to come as regularly as desired. Additionally, Ramona is great at guest relations. She made sure my experience was excellent from start to finish. Ramona made sure my friends were equally taken care of while they waited for me. Even one of the owners chatted with me for a bit, which was completely unexpected but very refreshing. Its one of those things that separates the good from the great. I really appreciate all the staff at Ouidad Salon by Chadwick and Igor. Ill definitely be back!

    This was my first time going to a curly hair specialist and I have to say Rebecca cut and styled my hair in the most beautiful way! She attentively listened to all of my questions and concerns and the results were dream-like. I really loved how she took my lifestyle into account when deciding which length of layers would be most comfortable for me, as I love to wear pony tails due to my active lifestyle. Rebecca asked how I did my hair at home and gave me lots of advice on how to get better results. She talked me through on how to style my hair with the products I have at home and showed me alternatives that I may like to compliment my hair wash routine.     I had a great experience!! I was treated very well by everyone I made contact with. I was offered champagne and snacks while I waited. The salon was very inviting, well lit and designed, spacious and with a relaxing atmosphere.Stylist Paula gave me tips on how I should keep my hair healthy and made some recommendations. I used to relax my hair so I had some straight ends and of course she cut my ends and it made a big difference.I will def return and recommend Ouidad curly hair specialists.

    Traci continuously gives me the perfect haircut. And that is despite how it keeps changing due to hormone fluctuations of my thyroid condition.     I love this Ouidad salon, from the greeting, to the cocktails :-), the hair wash puts you to sleep, and the treatment & style is done with so much care. I started with Tracy this year because my hair got extremely heat damaged and she cut most of the damaged ends off. I recently went back for a trim to reduce some of the straight hair left in the front and now my curls are like 95% back. I love the way she makes my curls pop and will continue to make her my go to. The pic is my hair the next day after it also got a little wet from the rain.

    First I have to mention the place is super cute and modern. The staff from the beginning to end were friendly and made me feel welcome from the moment I walked in. Natalie is great at what she does. She explained everything that she was doing and taught me how to manage and keep my curls. She explained all the products and how to use them but was not pushy to purchase. I am going to attempt her recommendations with the products I have at home but I will be back to see Natalie again.     Eidi was my stylist and did an amazing job after I tried to do a blonde box dye at home. Everyone was so nice and I was even encouraged to bring my dog on my next visit which I did. During my next treatment I was offered coffee and tea and the girls played with my pup, he loved the attention.     Got my first curly cut and style here and it was amazing! The best my hair has ever looked. I booked an appointment with Chadwick and Camilo, they were so nice and had so much knowledge on how to style my specific kind of hair.I was offered refreshments and delicious mimosas when I walked in. I did not wait long at all for my appointment to get started. My hair has never felt this healthy. I am writing this review almost 4 days later and my curls are still amazing.     I certainly made the right decision taking my young daughter here for a new haircut after experiencing hair loss. Natalie did a fantastic job. She is such a sweet and compassionate individual. She gave my daughter such wonderful advice and meaningful words of encouragement.     Absolutely incredible! First- the moment you walk in you are greeted in such a professional and friendly manner. Then the salon is impeccably clean and it smells amazing. The moment you are seated beverages are offered as you wait for about 10-15 mins for your stylist. I have been to many salons, but my stylist was the best ever! She was sweet, funny, understanding and most importantly unbelievably talented with her hands. My hair has never looked or felt better.     Life changing experience, no less.This is not your typical salon. This is a place where you are taught a proven routine to properly take care of your frizzy hair and turn it into a beautiful, shiny curly hair. Without the involvement of a brush or a blow drier.Everyone is knowledgeable and able to explain why curly/frizzy/kinky hair behaves the way it does, and explains the rationale behind every step of the care process.Ive been taken care of by Chadwick and I learned more in one appointment than though all the hair salons I have been to (which BTW didnt seem to know how to take care of anything but straight hair).I got the products and did the routine myself at home and was able to reproduce Chadwick styling. Total game changer for me. Im so happy I came across these talented people.

    Natalie was amazing and Joy is such a sweetheart! Natalie cut and styled my hair so beautifully and gave me exactly what I wanted and more! She exceeded my expectations!     Great service, love the drink options when you first arrive - I had a mimosa. The place was clean, and had nice music on. I got a hair trim and explained what I wanted and how I had a bad experience prior at another salon so I was nervous about getting it cut. She explained everything she was doing throughly and showed me how to apply curly hair products to achieve the best curl results. Found this salon by doing a search of curly friendly stylists in my area and saw they had amazing feedback, and a great portfolio.     Where do I even start!? This is the best (ONLY) place to go to if you have curly hair. Hands down. First off let me say that I have severe social anxiety and going to salon was something that always terrified me. But OMG I had no reason to feel scared! I had never ever seen my curls like that!     I was blown away by my first visit to Ouidad! From the moment I stepped inside, it felt like a whole spa experience. An adorable and friendly receptionist Gaby greeted me , handed me a robe, offered me a beverage and escorted me to my chair. There I met my stylist Cassie and she was awesome from the gecko…asked me about my hair, about my curly hair “goals” lol, and then I went to get washed. Ginger gave me a super Duper relaxing hair wash along with great conversation and a warm towel around (nice touch) the neck. I felt like I was officially being pampered and relaxed. After Cassie was done with my haircut she walked me through it as she styled my hair ( including all the products she used and now have to buy ) and I am very grateful for the training. For the first time ever, I feel lucky to have curls and not cursed. I will definitely be returning and recommend this salon for all us curly folks. I was going to say us “girls”, but right before me Cassie finished the haircut and style on a man and it looked da bomb.👌🏼👏🏼

    Definitely have expertise with curls! A coworker recommended Ouidad and I had a coupon for a free treatment that she gave me that I used for my first appointment. I just started a new job, so I could only go on a Saturday. If you are considering a first appointment, I would not recommend going on a Saturday. It was really busy and I feel Chadwick didnt have enough time talking to me to hear how I typically style my hair and my normal routine. I felt a little rushed to explain what I wanted so he could start with the cut. I would also not recommend having the treatment before your cut as the person who scheduled me recommended. It is my impression that it changed my curl pattern, at least temporarily, so Chadwick didnt see my normal curl pattern. My curls were more hydrated after the free treatment and less frizzy for sure, but Im not sure how I feel about the use of what looked like a cold flat iron on my hair. I have not used heat in several years, and the woman doing the treatment assured me it was not like applying a hot flat iron to my hair, but my impression is that the curl pattern was changed. Overall, Im still pretty happy with the cut itself. Based on the information I did have time to share with Chadwick, he delivered a great cut. I havent decided if I will go back since I most likely will have to go on Saturdays in the future as well.

He was able to see my frustrations with my current cut and showed me how he was going to fix it before he did. I was greeted from the moment I walked in and taken care of from beginning to end. Sam took care of washing my hair and massaging my scalp along with assisting Chadwick throughout my hair cut. Chadwick said I had beautiful curls and that made me feel so good as it’s taken me along time to embrace my natural curls.     I had a great experience at this salon. Everyone was so attentive and the atmosphere was fun and light. They great you with a robe and letter sealed in wax, so cute. Casey did my scalp massage and it was so soothing. The mimosas were delicious. I even got a complimentary deep conditioning treatment with steam. Amber did my haircut and I’m so pleased with it. Def coming back once it’s time for a trim ☺️

    I did a carving/slicing and rake/shake styling with Chadwick. This was my first time at Ouidad Salon. I can honestly say the experience from start to finish was extraordinary! The staff is friendly and pampering and Chadwick was amazing. He consulted with me first so we could determine what my vision was for my hair now and in the future and then he went to work! My cut and curls never felt so good! If you are someone who has struggled with their curly hair for years and are unhappy go to Ouidad! You will not be disappointed!

    Overall, the salon offers a really nice space and they did a great job on my curly hair. All the employees are very nice as well.I got color treatment with a Igor and cut with KeishaThe only reason it’s not a five star review is because Igor was really rough on handling my hair. He would tug at my hair really bad and it hurt A LOT. He wasn’t caring or gentle, even when he was helping wash my hair. I liked the color treatment he applied but believe me that the hair pulling was bad enough to not want to get color with him again.Keisha was fabulous! She understood my hair needs and was very thorough as to what kind of cut suits me best. She’s also very fun to talk to :)Also, I do wish they broke down the color treatment pricing beforehand. I consulted with Igor on what to get for color but he never warned me of the pricing for each thing.

    Absolutely enjoyed my experience at this salon. I havent been to a salon in years and have been hesitant in allowing someone other than myself to style my hair. The entire team was welcoming, kind, & fun. I appreciate their consideration in really getting to know my hair texture (type 4) and how I usually style it. In the end, the color and curly haircut I received was what I wanted! I appreciate Chad encouraging me to embrace my curls and to wear it differently than I usually do.     Chadwick and Igor are just fantastic at their professions. I was introduced to Chadwick by a fellow curly hair friend and have not gone to another person since. Since I met him and his magical hands touched my hair, it has grown down to my elbows and my curls are curlier then they have ever been. I dont even thank the product! I thank him and his cuts and time to making sure every single curl is treated properly. Igor does great color too! Ive recommended them to my entire curly hair family and even my straight hair boyfriend who loves how his hair comes out. You wont be disappointed with them.

    Salon staff is very professional, friendly and accommodating. My hair cut has been the best hair cut that i’ve ever had. Chad understands curly hair like no other stylist.     I had my first appointment yesterday and everything about my first experience with Ouidad Salon, Chadwick and their team was exceptional. The entire process, from beginning to end, met and exceeded my every expectation. After going to the same salon and stylist for 17+ years, I was hesitant to try it out but I was sold on the fact that they are a curly hair salon. I finally took the step and my only regret is not doing it sooner. Having naturally curly is hair is not something that everyone understands. The knowledge, work and expertise I received from Chadwick made me feel comfortable and in many ways, I felt a big sense of relief. Its as if I had found my curly hair haven. The salon was beautiful, the entire staff was warm and friendly and I just cant say enough good things about it. If you have curly hair, please check them out. Theyre amazing!

    I have tried multiple difference curly hair expert locations (all were great), however, this place was a whole new experience for me. I feel like everything you experience from the minute you enter a salon is part of the service and they came through. I was given a tour and offered a beverage right when I arrived. Chadwick cut my hair and clearly is an expert and gave me exactly what I asked for! All the ladies that helped with the service were amazing too! I will be back.

    Long overdue review but I love this salon! Jonathan and Brittany both are awesome, they revived my hair and even made me love my curly hair. As someone who has always only gotten keratin treatments since grade school, I was apprehensive about coming here, but knew I wanted a change. I decided to embrace my natural hair and Jonathan and Brittany gave me EXACTLY what I wanted. I’m still in love with my hair now after almost a month and I’ll definitely be back for a balayage touch up and cut and style:)

    Amanda cuts my hair and she does an amazing curly hair cut and always makes me have a positive experience. Shy does my deep treatment and he gives a great head massage. My hair always looks great when I walk out. I love the Ouidad cut for curly hair and Ouidad products. Worth every penny.     I literally gave up on my curls. Chadwick seemed confident he could fix them before I left. Shay gave me a wonderful wash in the beginning. My hair was super tangled yet somehow Chadwick detangled it by hand within on a couple of minutes. From that point I was a believer that he is the Curly Hair Genius! After my cut Paola showed me how to style my hair. I got emotional seeing how good my one dry flat underwhelming hair looked!!!     I had Amanda as my hair expert. Amanda has a gentle and kind demeanor and she truly listened to what my hair goals were. She asked me about my routine and current products I used. I really felt like I could open up and it was a really great hair appointment. She walked me through each step of the styling, it was nice that she taught me, hairstylists never really do that.     I started my natural hair journey June 2017. In September of last year I cut my curls at the Ouidad salon in NYC. A lot of the heat damage was cut off and my curls were shaped beautifully .It has been a little over a year since my last haircut and I was long over due for another. I recently moved to Florida from NYC and was hesitate to cut my curls. I just thought I would cut them when I decided to go back to NY to visit family but then I found the Ouidad Salon by Chadwick and Igor . Their salon is gorgeous and everyone is so great. I had the best experience. Shai was wonderful. He took the time to really clean my hair and pointed areas I need to focus on when shampooing hair. Yvette was my stylist and she is fantastic . She really works with you and helps you to understand your curls.I am so happy with my results. My curls look so moisturized, healthy and much more defined. The cut and style I received from the salon is exactly what I wanted. I look forward to going back and highly recommend the salon to all my curly girls that have moved down to Florida.Thank you Yvette, Shai, Chad and the Ouidad staff for being so warm, welcoming and making my curls look so great!

    I had my hair cut and styled with Brittany, and she was absolutely amazing! I came in a little unsure of what I wanted, just that I hated the way my last cut had grown out.     I have been going to Chadwick for several years now. He is a true artist! I have had another stylist (wont name names) at this salon cut my hair but it just wasnt the same. Chadwick knows exactly what to do with my curls even if I havent seen him in 6 months or a year. My hair always comes out looking flawless, and I always feel fabulous after having him cut my hair! I especially love their new salon. It isnt as hard to find as the old one, and I love going to a salon dedicated to curls. Upon entering the salon, I was offered a selection of teas, wine, and other drinks. This was a great touch! I will definitely be back.

    Today my hair was cut and styled by Eidi who is amazing! I have never left a hair salon liking the way my curly hair was styled after a cut, and today I left extremely excited about how lovely my curls were! They have great movement and shape and arent frizzy and crunchy like at other salons! She is am EXPERT in working wkth curly hair! The mimosa was a nice touch too! Everyone here was friendly and helpful, and they work well as a team! My hair was washed by Fernando who did an excellent job as well! He did a great job massaging my scalp and neck. The warm eucalyptus towel was so relaxing as well!

    What an awesome experience! This is why people spend extra bucks on a nice salon and fancy haircut. Im a believer now. My curls were damaged after a long summer of sun, chlorine, and traveling. Sondriel whipped those curls back into shape. I couldnt stop touching them. The massage, the service, the cut, the styling, were all fantastic. Learning how to take care of and style my curls was also a big bonus. Looking forward to my next appointment!
