    Maria is the best!! She is so sweet and very talented. I come to her with so many different ideas and she is always willing to give me fun new colors. She can do anything I throw at her and does it with a smile on her face. I love going to see her she always brightens up my day, and my hair comes out AMAZING every time! I highly recommend her if you are looking for a new stylist :)

    Billy is so darling! I came in today to get a pixie cut and I showed her my inspo pics of Taylor Russell and she got right to it! She was so thorough with everything, asking me how I wanted specific sections, telling me what she liked to use as a styler. She is also such a vibe, super nice and so funny!! If you’re looking for someone who masters in cool razor cuts, I definitely could not recommend Billy more!! The pixie turned out even better than I could’ve imagined. 🌟🙏🏽

    My daughter and I have been going to Salon Mixx for eight years now, and every single experience with each of their friendly stylist has been a wonderful, professional experience worth sharing about.Sommer is a skilled artistic stylist who always dresses up my grey hairs with a beautiful combination of fun colors that have me receiving compliments everywhere I go from both men and women of all ages.She was the one who gave me the courage to cut my long hair & gave me the cut that suits me perfectly!! I love, love, LOVE my hair ever since going to Sommer!She & her staff are committed to their clients! There’s been a few occasions when she met me at the salon on her day off!! Few people would do such a thing..Salon Mixx is a GEM of a salon! Not to mention SUPER COOL artsy decor that keeps your eyes entertained.

    I had the pleasure of working with Ginger, who is truly the friendliest and most adorable person ever! I had gone to two other stylists to try to achieve the dark cherry hair color I wanted, but Ginger is a true artist in her craft. After showing her a few photos, she worked her magic, mixing potions and lotions that transformed my hair from boring to beautiful!Not only did I leave with stunning hair, but Ginger also gave me styling tips and product recommendations to keep my color vibrant longer and help my hair grow stronger. Plus, I got to pick out some fun stickers! The entire experience was wonderful—I felt so welcomed and well taken care of, not just by Ginger but by the whole staff. I loved it so much, I’m already planning to bring my mom for her own appointment! I can’t wait to go back!

    One of the best salon experiences ive’d had!!! I have curly hair and booked a curly cut with Billy. I was looking for a wolf cut type style, showed her a picture and she went from there. She was the sweetest and did such an amazing job. My hair came out exactly how I wanted cut and styled. The price was way more accessible than curly salons in my area. I will definitely be going back!

    This is a review for not only this wonderful salon, but to my stylist who has taken care of my hair since 2018, Nicole! The salon itself is so welcoming and cozy. Its decorated with a bunch of different art, gives off lots of Halloween vibes (which I absolutely adore). It is very neat, and well-kept; the chairs they have at the front for waiting customers are surprisingly comfy and stylish. I am not too familiar with the other staff in the salon but they are all SO SWEET! As for Nicole, my stylist, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER!!! She is so incredibly talented, kind, and an overall amazing person to talk to. I put up some pictures of my hair progression since I started to see her. She has made me feel so comfortable with my hair and every time I meet with her, I am always satisfied with the service and I end up feeling so confident. If youre looking to get a brand new look or some touch ups, I 100% recommend Salon Mixx and you should totally contact Nicole and book with her! :)

    This is my absolute favorite salon. I have been getting my hair done here for about 2 years and I will never visit any other salon or stylist. Ginger is amazing. She is one of a kind and I’m so lucky to have found her! Every time I visit, I leave feeling fantastic. Incredible vibes, incredible people. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!

    Billy has been amazing! First with the perfect pixie haircut, which is hard to find someone who knows how to do a pixie cut, and now with giving me the blonde hair of my dreams. She took me from ginger color treated hair to a beautiful beige blonde quickly and maintained my hairs health. I highly recommend Salon Mixx and Billy.

    Ive being here for years and for some reason never thought to leave a review. All the stylist and receptionists are super friendly and professional and do amazing work. So if youve never been youll be in great hands with any of them, however.....special shout out to Heather and Sommer as I have been in both of their chair and bever been anything but thrilled with the turn out!

    Shelly was absolutely amazing! I am always hesitant about who to go to when it comes to blonde. My friend recommended me and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Not only was everything broken down and informative, the vibe in the salon was chill and relaxed but fun. I truly had an amazing experience and my hair looks soo good!

    I had today my haircut by Jessica at Salon Mixx, and I absolutely love it! Jessica did an incredible job on my medium-length hair, adding lots of layers and texture—exactly what I wanted and even better than I imagined. She listened to me, my vision and what I wanted, and gave me a gorgeous, beautiful haircut that suits me perfectly. It’s the first time in three years that I’ve truly loved my hair after struggling to find a great stylist. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a talented stylist.

    I truly enjoyed the experience at this aesthetically pleasing salon. Every person was warm and welcoming. The atmosphere is awesome- in the best and most literal definition of the word. My stylist, Billy, did an amazing job with touching up my balayage. I feel very lucky to have been connected with Billy for this much needed, long overdue service.     This place is a vibe. Do people say that anymore? Anyways it’s very cool. I have been coming here exactly 8 years this month. I love the decor, sometimes you can even buy some of the art on display. They always offer coffee or popcorn or water. I also love the products here, they are primarily lzanza which is cruelty free which I love and they all smell delicious. Sometimes they even have specials on liters. I have been seeing Amanda for over 6 years, she is amazing. She listens and gives feedback and turns whatever Pinterest dreams I have into a reality that works for me and my complexion all while making sure I don’t destroy my hair in the process. She has taken me to copper, to blonde both super cool and warmer. She has taken me pink and purple. She has done awesome cuts when I want it short or long. She also does tinsel which looks so cute for special events or holidays and she has done my hair for weddings and it always comes out fabulous! Amanda also always respects my boundaries of no blunt bangs and that my hair has to be able to be clipped or tied back. She always takes her time and I can’t imagine working with anyone else. Though I will say they always have amazing talent I am just a one hairdresser kinda gal. I see how people look when they leave and they look good! If I could add a sound bite to this review it would include a round of applause for Amanda! Also bonus points this salon is open 7 days a week and for someone who has odd days off it is so convenient. Also if you’re a local NSU student they do discounts I believe.

    I recently visited Salonmixx for a color correction, and it was one of the best experiences Ive ever had! When you walk in the decor is fun and inviting, and the staff was incredibly friendly.Ginger took the time to consult with me about my hair type and the color I wanted to achieve. She understood my concerns about lightening curly hair, which can often be tricky. Ginger was booked for the week and connected me with another stylist (Jessica) that was available that week. I met up with Jessica that Friday. Not only was she knowledgeable but also very welcoming and fun. Jessica expertly blended colors that not only enhanced my natural curls but also added depth and dimension.The coloring process was gentle and tailored to my hair’s needs, and I appreciated how she sectioned, bleached and washed each section at a time. The results were stunning! My curls looked vibrant and healthy, with just the right amount of shine. Jessica also shared some great tips on maintaining my color and caring for my curls, which I found super helpful.The entire experience was not just about the end result but also about feeling pampered and valued as a client. If you have curly hair and are looking for a stylist who truly understands how to work with it, I highly recommend Jessica at Salonmixx. I left feeling stunning and cant wait to go back for my next appointment!

    I wanted to go platinum for the longest and was just so hesitant on where to go and who to trust. After careful scouting i found Salon Mixx and the vibe gave me that it was an environment heavy on dramatic colors and cuts. After seeing other platinum card clients i had some faith. What really helped me was having a free consultation with Shelly so she can walk me through the process before i even swipe my card and that’s what sold me! She really cared about what i wanted and was straight up and honest about what I’d be spending and what the after care would look like. Going platinum is expensive and it is very high maintenance! Either way it was something i was ready for and Shelly made the experience amazing. She was so detailed in every way that i had pretty much zero breakage. The results were exactly what i was looking for and i met a new friend along the way. Shelly is the best!

    I’ve been getting my hair cut and colored by Maria for a while now, and I cant recommend her enough! With nearly 10 years of experience, her skill and expertise truly shine through in every appointment. She’s not only incredibly talented but also makes you feel completely comfortable throughout the process. I love that she’s always honest about styles and offers thoughtful advice when you ask for it. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my hair—she’s truly gifted at what she does! Her insta shows her beautiful craft!!!!! 10/0 recommend Maria!

    They are the best of the best, I went in because a previous hairstylist from another salon did a terrible job on my hair extensions the day before my wedding and when I called salon Mixx they received me without an appointment and completely fixed the crazy job that was previously done in my hair and placed my extensions in leaving them beautiful for my wedding and my hair looked full of volume and they lasted 8 weeks, this is quality work and prices are excellent.

    I had my hair done today by Maria she did high n low lights with a face frame cut LOVED IT!!!! . I have to say it was the best experience thanks to the great team they have including Chloe that did my consultation and receptionist that was able to fit me in when i needed.     I absolutely love this place, nice vibe, clean and friendly. I have been doing my hair with them for a few years now and I have tried a few different stylist since my time is usually tight and I don’t have much flexibility for appointments and I can confidently say that I recommend them all. Chloe has been doing my hair for the last few services and I am very happy with the results. She’s very professional and cool. She listens to what the client wants and is honest in the consultations about what can get done and what shouldn’t. I’ve been blonde for many years and this last appointment I felt confident about letting go the blonde (thanks to Chloe) and doing something fun. I got new color, new cut, it’s a new me! And I absolutely love it!!!!! Thanks Chloe!!

    I was a victim of the pandemic haircut and went from shaving one side of my head, to both sides, then finally just shaving the whole thing. I started going to Salon Mixx while my hair was growing out and they have always been so kind and always left feeling my best. After a few stylist I decided to stick with Shelly. She will greet me with a hug and makes me feel welcomed. She does a very good job of explaining exactly what is going to happen with my hair. She was able to take my dark black hair to blonde while still maintains the integrity of my hair. Even with all the bleaching my hair has grown so much and looks amazing! She made sure my hair looked good before my trip to Italy and when I had a few photoshoots lined up. I will continue going to Salon Mixx and will always trust Shelly with my hair 💕

    Hands down best hair salon I’ve gone too. I had previous 6 month grown out highlights that were done pretty old fashioned and not the best, it’s my birthday soon and I wanted to get a blonde babylight/balayage natural looking hair, I called in at around 11 am and they put me in for 12 since someone canceled the receptionist was super sweet! When we got there the vibes ver immaculate everything was very funky and cool the music was awesome and they had discs on the walls too, all the stylists hair had some sort of vivid color on it and it looked amazing! Jennifer my stylist then brought to the chair she consulted my hair and new exactly what I wanted she was super sweet and made me confident that I was gonna get what I wanted! She told me the price which was around 350 which is a great price considering the color I had under and my amount of hair. The process took around 6 hours and she even put on the tv greys anatomy for me which is my all time fav show and that was super sweet! Jen did a great job and was super gentle with my hair she was great to joke with and super hilarious I had a great time she also let me go next door to Vicky’s bakery while I proceses since I hadn’t eaten! All the stylists their were super nice and were such a vibe they were all themselves too I had a great time talking with everyone and I basically met and talked with all the stylists there! My hair came out awesome and I couldn’t of been happier with the result! I’m super joyful right now and I will definitely be coming back and never changing again! ❤️😆

    Clean, professional, and fun environment. I love coming here, which is a 30 minute drive and worth it. Shelly is a absolute delight, sweet, and very knowledgeable. I came in looking like a scarecrow and left feeling like a beautiful mermaid. Highly recommend and will be coming back soon.

    Wanted to try this salon based on the reviews. The staff greeted me right away and were very friendly. I have curly hair, which can be challenging, but the cut was awesome and my hair has never looked better. Besides the great hair cut and color, this salon is super cool and eclectic. A lot of fun art to look at. Never boring!

    This is my go to spot for the best stylists this side of Broward. Karla J is my girl! All the stylists are amazing and specialize in nearly every hair, make-up, fantasy color, glitter strands you name it they do it. They always play the best variety of music and the decor if fantastic, artistic, and some stylists even make jewelry and art! I love this spot.

    I went to SalonMixx for the first time for a consultation for a vivid hair color and thats where I met Billy. At the time when I met her, the hair that framed her face was a bright fiery red, and I knew I was going to be in good hands. She made me feel comfortable and welcoming. Her first comment was lets talk about your dream hair. Little did I know, she was making my blue oceanic teal hair dreams come true! After 7 hours in a chair, Billy took her time and cared for my hair. I havent cut my hair in over a year and havent dyed it in a couple of years so when it came to the bleaching process, my hair wasnt fried (which is something I pay attention to). Overall, my fairy godstylist waved her paintbrush and scissors and literally gave my the color of my dreams! Thank you so much Billy! I am still getting compliments from friends, families and wherever I go, your work speaks for itself!

    I love this salon! The people are so friendly. Even when you call, they are very kind and helpful. The decor inside is so rock and roll and good music too which I love. It’s not the typical salon vibe which I enjoy. I see Billy for curly hair cut and color. Amazing every time! I will continue coming here.     Could not recommend this salon more! Karla is my hair savior!! I have A LOT of hair that is curly and has a mind of its own. I have had a lot of hair dressers that claim to be able to cut curly hair only to find out that they honestly didnt. If you are like me and dread finding a hair stylist that wont leave you disappointed, you have found the right place!! I cant say enough great things about Karla!! She really listens to what you want, explains what she is doing, and provides pointers that are super helpful to keep your new look just as amazing as the day you left her chair. I am receiving compliments on my curls long after her cut. I recently had Karla highlight my hair to hide my ever appearing grays and all I can say is WOW! I LOVE LOVE LOVE how she did the highlights and the trim gave my hair a revitalized bounce. She is amazing! And the salon is overall great, all of the staff is super friendly, the decor is entertaining to look at (especially if you are like me, when adding color to your hair translates to a several hours visit). No matter your hair type or style you are looking for, there is a stylist here for you!

    I got my hair done with Nicole B and it was truly a nice experience :) I came in with my hair in a very daunting state (red and splotchy) and left with this beautiful dusty pink color. Nicole was very kind and clearly knowledgeable which made me feel relaxed. I really appreciated the amount of effort that was put into my hair. The staff also made me feel very much at home ^^ even when the red would not get out of my hair Nicole suggested darkening the roots and doing a more pinkish tone which I ended up loving more! I will definitely come again in the futureSeriously my hair was a disaster and magic was done by Nicole to fix it, you will definitely be in good hands 👍

    This is my second time coming here to get serviced by Nicole ( she’s the gorgeous one with lime green/yellow hair ) she’s so sweet & friendly, shes a master at her craft. Both of the times I got vivid hair color which Nicole specializes in. My hair isn’t stiff or damaged from the bleach we had to do to achieve the colors. The whole staff is great! Ginger in the front is so cute & funny! They really make you feel comfortable. I highly recommend salon mix for all your hair needs and even makeup application!

    I discovered this salon through friends and am so glad I did. This eclectic, friendly salon has something for everyone and they treat you like they have know you for years. Instantly comfortable.     My hairstylist moved to California and I had been waiting to find a place that looked trustworthy with my hair... this place looked trendy and fun and it was worth a try for me. I walked in and was instantly relieved; it was even nicer inside than I thought! Jennifer was my stylist, and even though it was her first time with me she was incredibly friendly and willing to do whatever would make me happy. I only showed her one or two pictures quickly and she knew exactly what I wanted from that. Im normally the type to hate a haircut for a couple of days, but that didnt happen this time :) I was super happy with it from the beginning; it was subtle but exactly what I needed to bring some life to my hair.     Finally decided that I was done dealing with roots and wanted to go back to my natural color and embrace the grays. However, my hair was a hot mess of old faded color, highlights and 3 inches of very dark root. Several hairdressers told me they wouldnt do it, so I was afraid that the process to color back to my natural and highlight in gray would destroy my hair. When I went in for a consultation, Shelly gave me a couple of options to achieve what I wanted. She was knowledgeable, and confident that it could be done without damaging my hair. I cannot say enough about how talented she is. My hair turned out perfect! I have gotten tons of compliments and my hair is strong and healthy. The color matching is perfect. She matched the pattern of my grays and added highlights where I wanted more. The cut is exactly what I showed her. I highly recommend Shelly to anyone who is looking for a new hairdresser!

    I got my hair cut on Saturday by Amanda and I’m obsessed with it!!! She knew exactly what i wanted and it’s perfect. I’ve struggled with social anxiety my whole life but when I sat down with Amanda she was so friendly and I wasn’t nervous at all. The shop has such a welcoming atmosphere as well. The decor is amazing and the music is good too! I’ve only had my hair professionally cut 2 times before finding Amanda and both times I cried because it wasn’t what i wanted. This is the first time I haven’t cried after a cut! I’ve been wearing my hair up in a pony tail for the last 6 months because i’ve hated my hair.     This place is truly amazing. The decor, the environment, the staff and the results are all awesome.I moved from West Palm Beach to Broward and needed a new salon and this is it!!!I have A LOT of hair and havent had anything done to it since the pandemic started but Ginger turned my pandemic hair into something beautiful.     I got my hair cut by Nicole B and she did such an amazing job. I love it and it looks so good. I wasn’t even planning on cutting it here. But I came with my mom because she wanted to do a cut and color that was complicated with several colors. So she had scheduled a consultation to get an idea of what she wanted and how much it would cost. Her appointment was with Nicole and she helped my mom figure out what she wanted and gave her a good price. After they were done, my mom asked if Nicole could look at my hair so we could schedule me and appointment for a cut. But she said she had time to do it and asked if I wanted to do it that day. Of course I said yes! I needed a cut so bad. My hair was looking terribly shaggy and longer than I liked. So I explained what I wanted and showed her some photos from google. And it came out exactly right. I have gone to so many different places to get my hair cut but they never do it right. There’s always something not quite what I like and I always feel dissatisfied. But not this time. This time I got exactly what I wanted and I am so happy with it. We even got a really good price and my mom was happy about that too. So far everyone has been saying how great I look. I will definitely come back next time I need a hair cut and highly recommend you come check this place out and get Nicole B if you can. She’s the best.

    This salon is truly the best. On top of everyone being so kind, they care about their clients a lot. My stylist Shelly is amazing. She made my curls come back to life and I’ve been able to be relaxer free for over 1.5 years now! She’s truly a color expert. She takes the time to listen and never rushes through a color treatment. She is honest about where your hair is and what it takes to get to where you want to be. She also uses the best products! I don’t trust anyone else with my curls or color!

    What a cool salon! This was my first time in at salon mixx to see Nicole (who has done my hair previously) and I had the best time ever. The vibe of the salon is very relaxed, quirky, and fun!     Ginger from Salon Mixx in davie has done my hair twice now the first time was cut, color & toner and she did a amazing amazing job. The second time was a root touch up, plus toner, and we added a little pink punch to the look. I have never been more happy with my hair than I am right now.     I had a great experience at Salon Mixx. Jackie Fernandez is a miracle worker!!! I came in with a specific hair color in mind. I wanted a burgundy fade into a blush pink. It seemed like a nearly impossible task since my hair was a very bright purple with blue tones underneath. Jackie immediately understood what I was after. She was extremely patient and meticulous. A true artist to say the least! I am extremely happy with the results and will be back again next month.Also important to note that the salon itself is really cute. I love the art work throughout the place and the music choice is amazing. The owner, Sommer, is friendly and very customer service oriented. I very much appreciate the consideration and service.

    Just walking into the door you get the best service from the receptionist to all the staff/Hairstylist. The atmosphere in the salon is relaxing, fun and entertaining. All the stylist has there unique touches and fun filled attuide. Betty is abosulty amazing and highly recommended.     Honestly one of the best salons ever. I currently live in Weston and majority of the hair salons are super high end and I just feel not so welcomed. The atmosphere here at Salon Mixx is definitely amazing. As soon as you walk in you feel at home and everyone here is super friendly with never a dull moment. I havent been here in a few years so it was definitely great to be back here and be welcomed with opened arms. The artwork in the salon is amazing as well, a rock and roll vibe for all ages. All the times that Ive been here I never had to wait long. I would definitely recommend anyone who wants to get their hair done to come to Salon Mixx. Im already planning on coming back here again because this will be my go to salon always. If I could rate more than 5 stars I would! This salon needs to at least get a million stars!     This was my first visit and I have long and thick hair. My hair is a warmer blonde with reddish tones and I’m trying to get a cooler blonde look. Ronnie was my stylist and I think she did a great job! She is thorough and a perfectionist and it shows! I had to leave by a certain time, so I was in a time crunch, and I couldn’t get my hair blown out, and therefore couldn’t tell if the color looked close to what I wanted or not. However, when I got home I did my own blow-dry and WOW! Ronnie did a great job!! I still want it just a bit cooler, but she was able to accomplish in my first visit, in a time crunch, and dealing with lots of long and thick hair what my old stylist couldn’t accomplish in a year! Great job! I will return! Thank you Ronnie for your great attention to detail, your professionalism, and overall great job!

    I called and was able to get a last minute appointment the same day for a wash and blow dry. The receptionist was super nice about it and I was helped promptly when I arrived. The stylist did a great job and I was happy with the service provided.My reason for giving 4 stars instead of 5 is I paid $50 for a service I would usually pay a max of $35 anywhere else I’ve visited. For reference I have short hair (bob style cut) that just reaches my shoulders at the longest section. After calling the salon to clarify, the price of a blow dry is $40 and the stylist used a little bit of flat iron (upon my request) that incurred $10- I’ve never paid this fee elsewhere. The website still states the price of $35 dollars for a blow dry so that should defiantly be updated. Please note of your hair longer than bra length this service would be even more expensive that the $50 I paid.Very cool shop but I don’t think I’ll be returning due to their pricing.

    Came here for a trim back in December of 17, $25, Lindsey was the one who did my hair. Overall a good experience. My best friend also came with and got their hair colored to a grayish tint (dont know anything about that stuff). Leastways, he loved the result and since he knows about this stuff I figure they do a good job here. He was also expecting the price to be higher but they actually charged him 3 times less so he was pretty happy with that.

    Not only do i go for cuts and colors and leave satisfied my son goes for cuts and my mother goes for color and cuts as well. The staff are all friendly, skilled and talented as well as very knowledgeable and educated. The atmosphere is great and prices are competitive.

    The salons is pretty rad, very rockabilly style. The staff are very friendly and professional, the atmosphere inside is very clean and fresh. Plenty of parking outside and lots to see on all 4 walls! A must visit for all your hairstyle needs!

    I am very particular about my eyebrows and Sareena is my all time favorite stylist. Not only is she beautiful and super sweet, her eyebrows threading is perfection. I recommend Brows by Sareena to anyone looking for a threading.
