    This was our second time at Sharkey’s Cuts for Kids, and my daughter absolutely loved it again! The whole experience is so fun and welcoming—it really makes getting a haircut something to look forward to.Ollys gave us such great service! She was kind, patient, and made my daughter feel super comfortable the whole time. The place is clean, colorful, and perfectly designed for kids. We’ll definitely keep coming back!

    This place exceeded my expectations. Stephanie the manager is so kind and nice. She gave my daughter the princess treatment. My daughter was asking if we can go back tomorrow. Lol. Definitely will be going here for now and even for me as they do adult haircuts too!

    I took my son here to get his hair cut before we go on vacation on a free hair cut promo that I got on Facebook. It was easy to make an appointment online, there were lots of dates and times available so I could pick something that worked for my schedule. Day of, I called to let them know we were running 10 minutes late due to the drawbridge being up and it wasn’t an issue - no late fee or cancellation. When we arrived we only had to wait a couple of minutes for the hair dresser Valentine to finish another client. My son browsed the many trucks and toys available for sale and I spoke with the front desk person - I asked how much it typically costs, $32 for boys and $34 for girls is what she told me if I’m remembering correctly. Even though Valentine was the only hair dresser on duty, she cleaned up the Lightening McQueen car before starting my sons hair cut which I appreciated - as a customer I would not want to come into a dirty looking salon.My son ended up picking the fire truck, but there’s also a police car and “Frozen” Jeep available. Where we sat, there were TV’s at each station with Disney+ so you can easily pick your child’s favorite show. The fire truck also had buttons that we could click to make noises, and a gas pedal which moved the back wheels without actually moving the vehicle. Very fun and my son enjoyed it! He sat very well for the whole hair cut - about 20 minutes. At the end, they get a lollipop and balloon and it looked like there’s a rewards system to earn other free goodies.Valentine was kind, professional, and patient. I tried to describe the cut I was looking for (I didn’t know what numbers), she listened carefully and made sure to ask if I was satisfied throughout the service to give us a result we were happy with and was exactly what I had in mind. I am thoroughly impressed with the service we received. I would certainly recommend this place and go back in the future!

    Everything was great about the experience. The store itself was very creatively decorated. It was fun. It was entertaining for the baby.My 9mn old never cried….highly recommend…staff was very warm and friendly and made our baby feel safe and secure for his first haircut!!

    The ladies are super friendly and the stylist valentine did an amazing job on my son’s 1st haircut. He looks so handsome! Thank you for making his first haircut such a great experience. We will definitely be back for all future haircuts!

    Owner is incredibly caring and generous. Went recently with my mom and two young daughters for a birthday present and had a fabulous time. The toddlers were treated as princesses with no luxury spared and made sure that they were comfortable and happy the whole time. My mom and I got the royal treatment too and I couldnt be happier. The salon is clean, full of things to keep kids busy and the staff are happy to go above and beyond. Cant wait to come back!!

    Had a great experience taking my 2 year old for a haircut. Stephanie the manager went out of her way to make him comfortable, and also let my older son sit in a car too. Place is purpose-built for kids and a great spot to take them for a haircut. Easy to book an appointment online.

    This place is definitely the spot. Excellent service. Amazing staff. Clean and fun! My son got his first haircut , we got the pleasure of working with Drew,and I just want to say we will definitely be coming back. I arrived early to my appointment and they took us in with open arms.Mr . Drew is one of a kind ,(thank you for your excellent work. We came in nervous and left beyond satisfied.Thank you ❤️)I also took my nephews and my daughter to the appointment with us thinking they would just be sitting down probably waiting and they were able to play video games to pass the time by.     Very friendly and professional!! Amazing job with my 3 year old that immediately started with the NO, screaming and just not being cooperative. Regardless of my child’s behavior they worked with her, were patient and waited for her to calm down again. Overall service is outstanding and highly recommend!!!!!

    My experience went from bad to good.I booked online, and I found it a little confusing to book for two kids. Maybe it’s just me. Anyway, I called afterward to ask if they offer hair trims for super curly hair, as this was my daughter’s first haircut because of that. The guy, John, who answered the phone, was rude. He said, “No, I don’t cut curly hair. You can try to book tomorrow.”I mentioned that my other appointment was with a woman named Valentina, but when I tried to talk, he kept interrupting me. At one point, he even said, “If you let me finish.” I responded, “Please let me finish. My other daughter does not have curly hair, so this will be fine.” To which he rudely replied, “Is that all?”At this point, I was ready to cancel because he was just downright rude. The only reason I didn’t cancel was that I had already promised my kids I would take them.Upon arrival, I was greeted by Valentina, who was the complete opposite of John. She was sweet, kind, and lovely. I found out that John had left early and that both my daughters would have Valentina, which was such a relief.I work with kids, and I’ll be honest—John has no business working with children if he’s acting like that over the phone. I’ll be back, but only to see Valentina.

    This is seriously one of the best kids hair salons in Fort Lauderdale. If you ever get a chance to go, youll have an awesome time, from the receptionist to the stylist, and the salon itself is gorgeous! Its a really great place!

    Ollys and Valentines treated my boys so well!! I will definitely be returning. My 2.5 yr old dreads haircuts and usually cries and kicks and screams. But Ollys was so sweet, she turned on Bluey and was able to cut his hair with no problem! Valentine was attending my 1 yr old and took such great care of him. When he started to cry she had patience and worked through the hair cut with no problem.

    10/10 experience. My 4 year old does not like getting hair cuts but they took the time to work through all the crying and mini meltdowns and gave him an amazing haircut. The staff truly care and take their time with each little client!

    Great experience for my daughter’s first haircut! She is 3.5 years old and John made a keepsake with a few pieces of the hair along with a nice certificate. Great place! So happy it is re-opened!

    Absolutely love it! It’s the second time I bring my now 2 year old and definitely coming back. The hair cut is exactly as I want it, they make it sooo easy for the kids. He loves the cars, the chalkwall in the bathroom, the people and the whole place is amazing and perfect for kids!

    We had the best experience here for our daughter’s first haircut! The owner and all of the staff were so sweet and kind and gentle with her as she was scared for her first haircut. They did an incredible job, and we are so happy with our experience! We also got a manicure, tattoos, lollipops, and a balloon all for the price of a haircut! They even sent us home with a certificate and a little lock of her hair.

    Took my son for his first haircut and he had a blast! Diana made him feel very comfortable. He was dancing in the chair, Playing with the car and he looks adorable! Got a certificate before and after pic and lock of hair. Highly recommend!

    My son is on the spectrum and picture day is next week so needed a haircut this weekend. After a bad experience at a barber I came to Sharkey’s and Ms. Diana was phenomenal with my son. From the minute we walked in to the end of the cut she was so good at engaging him and keeping him calm. Thanks to her we are picture day ready and can’t wait to come back for the next one!

    I visited this location for the first time today and I was so happy they had a Lightning McQueen car for toddlers, seeing my sons excitement was so special. Olly did a great job with his haircut. The place is very nicely put together, clean and amazing service.

    Came with an ABA client, Diana was phenomenal. She allowed him to play with squishy and comb throughout. Worked well with mom assisting. Used a great distraction strategy to keep him unaware of the electric sheers.
