Rosa was GREAT!We had an amazing experience with Rosa at Sharkeys Cuts! My 5-year-old had been traumatized by a really bad haircut experience at the Oakland Park location and was terrified of getting his hair cut again. Rosa was incredibly patient, kind, and made him feel completely at ease from the moment we walked in.This was the first time since that bad experience that he actually enjoyed getting his haircut—and even smiled through it! Such a cute place. I did my 10 month old daughter first hair cut. They gave a certificate and picture with a lock of hair. She was very comfortable getting her haircut there. Staff super friendly. Easy to get an appointment. Looking forward to her next cut here.

My son (6) was very apprehensive about trying a new place to get his hair cut. The ladies at Sharkey’s Weston were kind and gentle, and he felt comfortable almost immediately. He loved being able to choose what to watch on TV and sit in a cool police car to get his hair done. He also enjoyed being extra pampered and getting his hair washed at the bowl for the first time ever! Definitely a great experience!

My wife found this place by random. Our kiddos absolutely love this place. Hair cuts are no longer a nightmare for kids. Great service all around. The environment is so awesome for kids. Video games and TV streaming while they get a haircut or even braids! Rosa is the absolute BEST! She does it all and has a heart of GOLD! Rosa La mas HERMOSA!!!!!

I felt welcome with their excelent customer service and I love that they have a rewards program. I recommend Rosa Mejía. She cuts my daughters hair since she was 2; she is a very good hairdresser, genuine sweet and very patience. Yosmi was amazing with my son. He’s on the spectrum and while he can now tolerate clippers, it’s only for brief moments and she was able to do a great haircut with mainly scissors, quick on trimming the edges with the clippers and super sweet at the same time. I couldn’t ask for a better experience.

Great new location to get your kids hair cut! Juliana and Dannys were awesome!!! All the staff were welcoming and accommodating to what our daughter wanted. Not super crowded like the other locations for Sharkeys. Parking is a little limited in the plaza, FYI. Definitely go check them out!

I made last minute appointments for my 1 year old son and 3 year old daughter for haircuts. I could not have been happier with the visit! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They asked what I wanted for both kids before moving forward with anything. They worked quickly and carefully. Both kids cuts came out perfect! We had Rosa for my daughter (she did the prettiest braided style) and Rocio for my son. We will definitely be going back.

Can’t tell you enough how amazing this place is! My daughter is 2 years old and I was scared she was going to be fussy and cry during her haircut, but the experience was absolutely amazing and she enjoyed it from the beginning to the end. Also, all the staff was extremely kind with me and her!! if you are thinking about goind, DONT DOUBT IT AND GO! they have cars as seats which makes it an amazing experience for kids and TVs in front of each sit as well :) - just absolutely amazing, would recommend 10000 times

This was our first time at Sharky’s and my 2 year old’s first professional haircut. They did a beautiful job of helping him to feel comfortable (he was scared) and Cengly his stylist cut his hair exactly like I had wanted. Overall, it was such a great experience and we were thrilled that my kiddo now has such a positive association and memory of his first haircut. We also appreciated how thoroughly they cleaned the car before hand with a vacuum and Clorox wipes🧹. We’ll be returing here in the future for my sons haircuts. Thank you!

Today was our first time going to Sharkey’s, and we had a wonderful experience. We booked the appointment online for the same day, arrived and were attended to as soon as we walked in the door. The stylist had so much patience with my daughter’s curly hair (she has a lot). We also decided to add on the unicorn hair. My daughter’s face said it all. She was so happy (and is still happy). What an amazing experience! Me and my wife have been looking for a good place to take our son for his first hair cut and this was the place! From when we first walked in the door we were greeted with a friendly smile and the staff was so good with our son. Yosmi did an amazing job giving our son his first haircut and my son loved it! Great place for children haircuts. It was our first time. We were warmly welcomed as we walked in. We came in with our toddler and within 5 mins the hair cut began which was awesome! The place is clean, well organized and decorated colorfully for kids. Our hair tech and the front desk was really nice and friendly. They have a manicure station, hair wash station, tvs, cars for the child to have their hair cut in or they have regular chairs. They also sell toys. Checkout was easy and quick. They even gave my little guy a balloon and lollipop, which he loved! The haircut was perfect and they did a great job ! My son does not normally like haircuts. I believe it was the environment and nice demeanor of the staff that helped my son be calm. We will be back!

JULISSA at this Sharkeys Weston was FANTASIC. She took her time, she made sure to communicate the entire way, and she was able to fix all the mistakes from the other establishment. My sons hair looks amazing and he FEELS AMAZING. She definitely knows how to use shears and not just buzz a boys hair! She was able to add texture and bring back the bounce in his curls. Just came here for the first time because I saw that Lollipop had closed—I was so sad that we wouldn’t have Rosa anymore but to my surprise she is now at Sharkey’s!! If you are looking for her, this is where she is!! My daughter has had her hair cut by her since her very first cut as a baby, so I’m so glad we found her again :)

A fairly professional place, since working with children is very complicated. During the time we were waiting and while they were doing the cut, several children of different ages passed by and were able to cut everyones hair well, the children had a lot of fun since they had different tactics to keep them entertained. The cuts and other services that I was able to see were very good for all the children. We will definitely return, they gave us excellent treatment. Recommended.
