I decided to change up my natural hair look after several years. SilkpressExpress came highly recommended and they DID NOT DISAPPOINT. The staff was very friendly, professional and the salon looks very inviting. Do yourself a favor and get a hair refresh!! I love my silky hairdo.

I have been going back and forth and doing my research for over 2yrs and just went for it. I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED. Everyone was friendly and nice: From the receptionist explaining your appointment and services, the shampoo and blow drying girls to the stylist. I received the Silk press express service with a Hydro treatment. they take before and after pictures and explain everything before cutting or trimming your hair. The atmosphere is chic and relaxing. ALSO, VERY CLEAN, Staff is constantly cleaning and sweeping and washing. I will DEFINITELY be returning. My stylist was Kira, but if you have a preference their are a few other stylist you can choose. 🥰🙃❣️

I had some damage as well as concerns with what a previous stylist did to my hair. They put some chemicals on my natural hair. The staff there was friendly and knowledgeable. They took their time with me and also took time to really speak to me about what their professional opinion was. They provided me a moment of peace with a frustrating situation. They did their thang when it came to my trim, the last stylist didn’t trim it properly to my liking. Once I explained it, she knew exactly what I meant and looked. She saw what I was referring to and gave me an amazing trim. I’m praying a protein treatment may help bring back my curls but I’m not sure. At least I’ve found an affordable trustworthy salon. I posted pics of before the trim, after and the curls.

Here visiting from Southern California and needed my hair done for Easter. My sister recommended Nia. This is my first time getting a silk press with the steam, plastic wrap, etc. I was extremely pleased with my service from beginning to end. The ladies were friendly, fun, yet professional...and appear to have a healthy working relationship. Cute, clean salon with good procedural systems in place to keep the flow while offering personal care to each client. I will return.

The ambiance of the salon was really nice and clean. Also, it seems like they have a well-oiled machine because the entire process was smooth, with no idle waiting time. I had an overall great experience here. My first time visiting the salon I didn’t have an appointment and came in as a walk-in. I didn’t wait too long before I could be serviced maybe 20-30 minutes. Everyone was very nice. I did a wash, blow dry, trim, treatment, and a braid down it took just about 3 hours. My stylist Bessa was very nice , and professional. The braid down style I wanted to get wasn’t one that they could do however, she was able to come up with ideas and I still was able to leave with braids that will work for the style that I’m hoping to achieve.All in all, I will definitely be back and recommend this place

I had an amazing experience at silk press express Solon Everyone was so professional. I was a walk in and I was greeted with a smile and was explained all I needed to know in terms of what they offered. They also have a loyalty program that provides discounts that can end up becoming a free wash and blow dry eventually. This is a great insensitive!!! Someone washed and blow dried my hair and the other person styled my hair. All in all I give this location a 10/10. The Solon was clean as well and that’s always a plus. I will definitely be coming back, this I now my new hair Solon!!!

The wash was great and they got a lot of tangles out. Neicy/Nessa (sorry!) did fabulous with the silkpress & trim and introduced me to new tools.Its been 2 weeks and babay the press is still silking!Note to the owner: Please please please open a location in Southwest FL! The young lady that washed my hair was personable and so informative. Nisa was great and so gentle I kept falling asleep. Every time I come here I have a great experience. From the front desk to the Hair Stylists (especially Nia). Their space is so inviting, beautiful, and inspiring with the decor that they have. They are also very knowledgable about your hair needs, and take the time to educate you on how to care for your hair in between visits. Also they are not scissor happy if youre afraid of that when it comes to trims. They tell you where you should cut, and give you the option of getting the trim out of the way all at once or cutting little by little. They just let you know the benefits or setbacks of either option. I have been looking for a place that I can trust with my hair for a while now, and I am grateful to have found it. Ive even given their info to family and friends searching for a home for their crown as well because they love my results whenever I get a press. Dont hesitate to set an appointment or visit. My 1st visit was a walk in appt which they are accommodating of, but for busy times like holidays I would definitely suggest appointments unless youre flexible. (They have blessed hands and do great work so they can have a good amount of people coming in...as they should!) This is a salon I hope stays around for decades to come. Just left from getting my hair washed, conditioned, and silk pressed and I must say I left a bit unsatisfied this time around. This was my 2nd visit with them because I had such an awesome experience when I went in May, I just had to go again. The first time I went, I got 2 treatments prior to getting my silk press and this time I only had add on dandruff shampoo prior to my silk press but I did not get a proper wash due to the fact that my hair still had dandruff in it while they sat me down and blow dried me. I didn’t like that I still had dandruff in my hair because when I wash my own hair home there’s never any dandruff still in my scalp which made me feel like I added more to by bill for no reason

Great experience _I wanted to wait before sharing my review. I visited the salon about 30 days ago, and I have to say, the shop looks great, smells wonderful, and has an overall good vibe. The entire team was professional and right on time. My hair is usually dry and unhealthy, but they recommended a deep conditioning treatment for dry hair and a trim to get rid of my dead ends. I just took out my braids, and my hair has never felt so full and moisturized! I’ll definitely be back for regular treatments.

She taught me ways to better treat my hair at home. I also got a haircut to rid of my dead ends and I’m happy she didn’t cut too much length off. My hair was left shiny, soft, and bouncy.

HORRIBLE experience, nearly traumatic. I made an appointment, but not with any specific stylist, thinking that all would be qualified. NOT SO!!! The person doing my color had no idea it needed to sit longer, especially with it being grey. Furthermore, she started the dye service in the back of my head, which I have NEVER had done in all my years of getting color. Another stylist needed to run over to advise her not to rinse the dye out yet since it was only about 10 minutes. I had to chime in that grey hair is resistant and takes longer so she left it a little longer. Then there was the dye all over my face/hairline. I am fairly light in complexion, and you could CLEARLY see the zig zag of dye. Another (different) stylist tried to tell her how to get the dye off BEFORE washing it out, and she started wiping it with alcohol on a towel, and she replied it wasnt her first time doing color. Instead of the other stylist sticking up for me, the client, she said to her, so you want to do it your way, and left. Well, guess who suffers with that. ME, the PAYING CLIENT! So she tried scrubbing it off while rinsing, but to no avail. I knew that was not going to work - as I, a non-professional, have done it to myself with a store-bought box of hair color, hence why I pay people to do it now. Then, I guess the dye was spotty, so she was almost sneaking to put more dye on my wet hair, then the conditioner, and the steamer. They took me from the steamer before it finished and rinsed. A whole different stylist finished my hair, and I was thankful for that because I had lost confidence in the stylist I was assigned. I left the salon with my hair pinned in a bun since I was soaking wet all the way through to my undergarment, and down my back. That was a bad experience, and not even REMOTELY an inexpensive one. That made it all the more traumatic.

Silk Press Express is the best hair experience I’ve ever had. The shop is clean, staff is very professional, they work fast and are very thorough. I highly recommend this shop and will definitely be returning & recommending to friends!!!!

This is the 2nd time I visited and I must say I’m in love. Everyone is so nice, friendly, and professional. I receive SO many compliments on my hair and I’m the girl that loves wigs but I’ve been enjoying wearing my hair thanks to them!! 10/10
