    Really great experience. I’ve been looking for an educated and affordable hairstylist for some time and so glad that I tried out Saf’s shop. She’s really nice and does a good job at educating you about your hair and giving you tips for healthy growth. I will definitely try to become a regular.

    I just love Slim Chiin! The shop is conveniently located. Its always clean with a pleasant atmosphere. The ladies are welcoming. Safiya is the best! She does great work. My hair is very healthy. And I get so many compliments! My blowout lasts so long, people always think I just got my hair done weeks after Ive been to see her.

    I had a wonderful experience at Slim Chin Beauty Studio. I am very particular with my hair as I keep natural styles and am cautious with how it’s manipulated and who’s doing it. From wash, combing it out , prepping and styling Safiya was very gentle and listened during the consultation. She recommended the Naturalista package for me. There are other packages as well for styling, just prepping, washing and conditioning, etc. I’d gladly return for another natural girl crown treatment.

    My stylist, Safiya, was very meticulous about giving me the experience and hair style I wanted. She asked about how I cared for my hair and gave me tips to care and maintain my hair.     Safiya has been an absolute gem! Hair care is truly her specialty. When I first started seeing her my hair was damaged, dry & brittle. She educated me and empowered me with tips for at home maintenance. As well as patiently worked with me to bring my hair to the healthiest it’s ever been. And now that I have moisture retention down, we can tackle length retention. I look forward to continuing my hair journey with her!

    As a guy, it’s hard out there to find people who understand the assignment of making sure the hair looks right. Safiya is certainly one who understands the assignment and provides a great experience!She has been so willing to share her knowledge, take care of her clients and provide a space where were made to feel comfortable.Truly she is worth the price and more. Not only do I get amazing compliments when I leave her salon but my hair feels and looks so healthy.     Safiya is an exceptional stylist! She takes great care of her clients hair and is very knowledgeable. She will not advise you to do anything that she thinks is not good for your hair, based on her professional knowledge and experience; which shows it’s not just about the money for her.     My experience was a 10/10. From the booking process with Safiya’s helpful assistant Empress, to the service itself, everything felt like a personalized experience just for me. I had the Naturalista starter package with the flexi-rod set style option which included a consultation, shampoo, treatment, shaping/trim, and style. My hair was in need of some serious TLC and Safiya brought it back to life! The salon itself is very clean and the located in a good area. I will definitely be booking again, you should too!

    As someone who had dreads for 10 years, I was not comfortable with my hair after taking them out. After coming here, I learned so much about how to manage my hair and to be honest, more confident in myself. I feel like Safiya was not only a hairstylist but a teacher.
