    Source Salon is beautiful and everyone is professional and friendly. My stylist, Kristen Nicolette is superb! Sheā€™s also an Aveda instructor so her techniques are impeccable and she knows whatā€™s trending! Iā€™ve gotten 3 hair cuts from her and the latest one she completely changed my style.     Ive been seeing Ashley for almost 2 years now, and I cant say enough good things about her. She is truly a magician with colorā€”my blonde looks so natural, and I constantly get compliments. She also encouraged me to add layers to my long, thick hair, and it turns out my hair is naturally curly! Its been a total game changer!! Even my mom commented that my hair has never looked so good, which says a lot. Shes not only incredibly talented but also listens and makes you feel confident in your choices. Im from out of town and staying for 2 months....before my wedding :OI wasnt able to make it to my consultation so Kelly had to plan during my appointment.     Hair Emergency! I was really unhappy with a dye job that I had done at a different salon. I wore a hat for three days and then was fortunate enough to be referred to Chris!     Iā€™ve always trusted Aveda salons and when my previous place, Truu Salon closed down few months back I had to keep searching.My first appointment today at Source Salon Flagler Village with Ryan was super! I was welcomed by a friendly staff. As I explained to Ryan what my routine hair maintenance was like, he was very kind to listen and offer suggestions. He did a root touch up to cover my grays and added subtle highlights to my dark brown hair. Ryan knew exactly what formulas were needed to get me back on track.     Ryan Reeves is by far, the best hair stylist in South Florida! After moving to the neighborhood a year ago, I called Source for an appointment. I could not be happier with the haircut, he knows exactly what to do with big thick curly hair! The low lights and hi lights are gorgeous and he keeps all of the greys at bay!     Ryan Reeves is by far the best stylist I have had so far!! I came from a top barbershop in Fort Lauderdale and read some reviews on him. I decided to take a chance and itā€™s been the best 2 haircuts I have. Besides a great haircut he provides great conversation and makes you feel at home.     I needed a haircut last minute and didnā€™t know where to go, I called around and Source could fit me in last minute so I took a chance. From check in to check out everything was perfect. He is an expert in his craft and weā€™re now at the point where I come in- no instruction needed and he just works his magic. Heā€™s also just so fun to chat and catch up with and is such a cutie to boot! Also, if youā€™re in a time crunch (which I usually am) he is super time efficient and gets me in and out all while looking flawless.     I found Source Salon through none other than Yelp. They offered first time clients a fantastic promotion on cuts and color. Being my first time, I had no preference on stylist. I was paired with Erica. Upon arrival, I was elated to see she had the exact cut and style I was looking for (what a perfect fit). She did a fantastic job, didnt rush to get out the door (as I was likely her last client of the day) and made great conversation. The owner Ronnie and staff are the best! My hair is very fine/fragile and have to be very careful with who highlights it. Ronnie takes extra care to make sure my hair does not break.     Ive been coming to Source Salon for over a year, and Im absolutely in love. The salon is so clean and friendly. I love that they use Aveda products and always leave me feeling (and smelling) amazing. Angel is truly the best; she is a great listener and so talented. I always leave my haircut happy and feeling refreshed; she is great at a natural looking and gorgeous cut. If I ever decide to start coloring, Id only go to her too.     Let me start by saying this was the first time I had ever visited a salon for a haircut, but let me tell you the entire thing was worth it. The typical barbershop experience consists of a lineup and fade. Thats all I was familiar with until I came to this place. Alex was recommended to me by a close relative, and she was perfect every step of the way. Not only did it feel great, but I learned a good amount about my very curly hair. It might be the little kid inside of me, but the washing of the hair just made me have such a wide smile. To put the cherry on top of the experience my very mediocre day turned into a great one.

    Ronnie knows blond. He is a master colorist. As a blond Ive always had issues with brassiness. Ronnie was the first stylist to point out that it was a low light issue. Ive been with him for almost a year and Im no longer brassy, but rock a vibrant gold healthy head of hair. He is a magician with scissors and really listens to his clients. Ronnie is THE MAN! He is the best, hires the best, and his salon is lovely.

    I love this place and my hair stylist Angel. The staff is so nice from the minute you arrive to the minute you leave along with kind follow up. Walking in I am received well and the establishment is clean which is very important. Now most importantly is the quality of my haircut and coloring and let me tell you all is class A!     This salon is amazing! Iā€™ve been a few times now and absolutely love Darcy. A good friend of mine recommended her. I decided to give her a try and ended up loving what she did with my hair. I quickly referred my mom to her as well! Being a blonde is tricky sometimes with highlights and lowlights, but Darcy always knows what to do. I typically walk into my appointments and just tell her to ā€œfix me,ā€ and mention a few things I donā€™t want. Darcy takes over and nails it every time! So glad my friend recommended her. I donā€™t see myself switching stylists any time soon and would recommend Darcy and the rest of the salon to all those looking for a new hair stylist.

    This place is by far the most amazing salon in South Florida. Angel is an absolute hair master!! I have never received more complements on my hair in my life.     I was visiting from out of town and wanted an Aveda Salon. I was with Master Stylist, Andrea Rose and she was excellent!!! I loved her ideas and my hair turned out perfect. The salon is nice and I liked the gown for getting color and the shampoo bowl was very comfortable!!! There is a great Cuban coffee and food place right next store too!

    Its very hard to find a good blonde colorist in south florida.. Darcy & Hailey are AMAZING. Ive never been so happy with my hair before. I feel very welcomed every time I go get my hair done.     Michelle is absolutely amazing! She can do it all.... a beautiful cut for my long hair and gorgeous brunette & blonde balayage. This was the first time I have ever really dyed my hair and Michelle was so sweet and willing to work with me to get the perfect look.     I had my hair cut and layered by Kylie, who was simply fantastic. Ive been growing my hair out for several years and wanted to keep the length, lose the split ends, and get my layers cleaned up. My hair is naturally wavy and I almost never blow-dry it because I like the waves. The shorter my hair is, the wavier it is because its less heavy and the weight of long hair pulls the hair downward (and makes it less wavy). Anyway, Kylie gave me a great cut with layers while preserving my length AND also thinned out my hair a bit toward the ends. I had never thought to ask anyone to do that, but let me say that it was a genius move. Now that my ends are thinned my hair is less heavy...and more wavy! I am so happy with the haircut that Kylie gave me. I live in Pittsburgh and was in Fort Lauderdale for a very long layover, but if I go back to Fort Lauderdale again Ill definitely go back to Salon Source. Thanks again Kylie! :)

    Brad did an excellent job on my hair! He took his time and consulted with me throughout the cut to make sure it was exactly what I wanted. The rest of the staff was also very nice and delivered great customer service. I would highly recommend this place! Amanda Ronda is a professional who takes pride in her work and treats her clients with extreme courtesy and genuine care and compassion with excellent listening skills; She has undoubtedly left an indelible mark on me.     What an excellent salon! Its gorgeous, airy and light with beautiful green plants. (right across from Fresh Market where you can sshhh park actually) From the moment you walk in you are made to feel good, wonderful reception. But Katie is the reason to go, shes fabulous. My second visit, last year I was very blonde, which she did, this year Im back to shiny brown, she does a really fine job. Good haircut too. Ill be back. Love going to a relaxing atmosphere where you are appreciated.

    Great salon - Ive gone to a few places in Fort Lauderdale and this is far and away the best. The place is helpful and friendly, and a beautiful salon. But Katie is what makes the place great - shes talented and friendly (I never tell her how to do my hair, I trust her judgement more than my own), and have never been disappointed.     Words cannot describe how thankful I am to Source Salon! We had a wedding emergency and needed a stylist ASAP! The front desk girls were so understanding and sympathetic to my situation and the did everything they could to make sure I was happy for my big day! They Totally eased my anxiety. Including scheduling me with Khole. I never worked with her before and being that I was a week away, I was extremely nervous working with a new stylist. But she did AMAZING! I had huge compliments on the color and cut at my bachelorette party and throughout the wedding festivities! Anyone looking for amazing blonde locks go see her! Then there is my man.. Sebastian... who totally blew me away with my look for the wedding. My hair is bone straight and I can never get it to curl. I really wanted big wavy hair with a lot of volume, that would last throughout the night and give me the wild look I was going for. Well he did it ladies! My hair stayed beautiful and lush the ENTIRE NIGHT! And well into the morning! I could not believe it! I was so excited! On top of that, he did exactly what I wanted for my make up but he did it even better! There was certain tones and colors he change that worked way better for my complexion.     UPDATE 9/18/19: Majken continues to be spectacular and she is a true hair stylist genius. See my previous review to get a good feel for her talents. You wont be disappointed! --Awesome salon and my stylist Majken is amazing! Iā€™m super particular about my hair, having been spoiled living in New York and Chicago, so Iā€™ve burned through too many places and stylists down here trying to find the perfect combo. I finally found it. With Majkenā€™s master stylist credentials and years spent cutting hair in New York, she styles and cuts my hair for the cool GQ look I require, and her trained eye takes into account my physical characteristics and lifestyle to achieve that look. With Crystal managing things at the front being so pleasant and fun to work with, and the other stylists seem really on the top of their games as well, this is a place to go to if you want the best. Itā€™s not cheap, but not outrageously expensive either. You wonā€™t be disappointed!
