    When I step into this place its like being home with family. The price is so reasonable and the staff is friendly and welcoming. I would never change my stylist they all are good.     Great experience! They work well with kids, a great atmosphere, and the prices are affordable! They have very talented hair stylists. I have seen Jada and Fatima and they did a great job with my locs and my daughters (10) hair, and both were really nice!

    I have been going to truly rooted over 3 years now. The staff is always so friendly. The owner i believe is Christian and t Christian worship songs and gospel music is always being played. Cherise, is my loctician . She is always on time and I have never left her chair unsatisfied.

    Alethia, can I just say what an experience to remember! She was extremely professional and punctual. This salon felt like home, almost as if I was visiting my aunt and cousins. They treated everyone like family.This was my first time here, I was referred by a great friend of mine. This will not be my last time coming to this salon.As for the experience, my nephew randomly had a nose bleed. Alethia handled it with ease, kept us calm, and allowed us to go to an urgent care. When we returned it was hours later and almost time for the salon to close but she stayed and completed my nephews twist.This was the best customer service experience I ever experience and I wish them nothing but success in 2021. I recommend everyone to come by this salon to get your locs started or retwisted. At this shop you arent guest, youre family!Oh and the starter locs look amazing!! Great job!

    This is a salon that I will definitely come back to for my locs! I had some damage but when I tell you Alethia brought me back to life THATS EXACTLY WHAT SHE DID !! Being 6 months pregnant and having to sit a few hours while she blessed my locs I was extremely comfortable the entire time! The vibe is super relaxing, I was able to view the beautiful rain fall thru the beautiful windows at the salon. ! OVERALL it was a wonderful experience I love my hair style! Im thankful for her professionalism and Im definitely referring friends and family to Truly Rooted.

    Simply AMAZING!!! First time here but will not be my last, not going anywhere else after this. I don’t usually write reviews but I had too. I felt so welcomed and so comfortable. The entire environment is beautiful, everyone greets each other and is so polite. The knowledge and experience of the staff shows. Everyone I saw left with beautiful hair. No complaints with service. Alethia I must say Thank You!!! Not only for slaying my hair but for creating such a safe space. Don’t think Twice come here and get your hair done!! You will not regret it.     Ive been trying to find a salon in Lauderhill that is professional and proficient at their job and this place did not disappoint. Fatima did my hair and she was awesome. The other ladies were quiet pleasant and courteous with their clients. No gossip or inappropriate behavior happening.I think Ive found myself a hairdresser.

    Leita was so amazing, I went on a Friday afternoon for the Big chop I was very nervous about the process and outcome. Let me tell u how pleasant she was. She calmly explained all the details of the process and what to expect. I was not disappointed at all, she did an amazing job. I got a lot of compliments on my new hair cut 😊This is definitely my new spot for my hair care!

    They did this!!!!!! My hair looks sooooo good. Setting up my appointment was very easy. Upon entry they were very friendly and professional. And to top it all off within minutes of sitting down upon entry I was in the chair getting my hair washed. I loved every piece of my experience with these ladies and even though Im moving out of state Im gonna have to make a point to make another appointment when I come back to visit. Keep up the great work!!! This picture is two weeks later after I took the style out (I can never keep hairstyles in more than three days kept this one in for a week so yaaaay) after sleeping on it without the style for a week it still looks good. So thrilled!

    Letisha did my retwist and it was the best salon experience I’ve ever had she was so nice and attentive she educated me on my hair and what I should and shouldn’t use in my hair. She explained to me everything she was doing every step of the way not to mention my hair came out amazing I’ve gotten so many compliments on my hair I travelled all the way from NY to get my hair done and I’m very satisfied will def be coming back to this salon when I visit FL.

    I love this place! I’ve been coming here for quiet some time and it’s been a pleasure every single time. The ambiance, energy, very positive. I’ve never had to wait longer than 5 minutes. You are greeted when you walk in and they cater to your needs. Alethia is amazing! My locs are VERY LONG and she does an amazing job every time. Very reasonable prices also. I’ve recommended this place to my friends and they have loved it also.

    Truly caters to natural hair with more than reasonable prices. The hairstylist that cares for my locs is Michaela but you’re in great hands with any of the ladies. Professional & wonderful customer service. You cannot & will not leave disappointed!

    Latisha is awesome! I don’t even come with a style in mind and she takes over and kills it. Always come out looking fresh and clean. One of the best shops around. How can you not love the combo of retwist and a barber (Eric) at the same place. Makes life easy.

    This was my first time at Truly Rooted and Lexe did my hair. I got a wash and retwist, Lexe automatically repair my loose locs without asking me. I was very impressed because I have been going to different locticians and they just washed and retwisted my hair without analyzing the condition of the locs. I live in Palm Beach and I will definitely take the drive to Truly Rooted to get my hair done. Lexe was very professional 👏 and she did an amazing job.     There are no words to express how absolutely impressed by and grateful for Truly Rooted Natural Hair & Barber Studio I am. I was traveling to Fort Lauderdale from NYC for a wedding and needed to get my [and the grooms] hair done for the big day. I have to be honest, after living in Atlanta and NYC, where amazing black hair professionals are everywhere, I was VERY worried that I wouldnt be able to find anyone who could produce good stuff in FTL Alethia and her crew made me eat my words. They were absolutely amazing! The design of the salon itself is comfortable, inviting, and clean. The stylists were friendly and engaged in amazing conversation, including mini hair consultations that were very insightful. They really made us feel at home. Most importantly, they can DO SOME DARN GOOD HAIR! They took such great care of me and even greater care of the groom (compliments to the barber for the attention to detail)! He looked amazing on the big day and his bride was ecstatic with the end result. I see why youll find Truly Rooted in national hair shows competing with professionals at the highest echelons of the industry- they are astoundingly talented! Dare, I say, they are the best? But most notably, Alethia and her team knew we were traveling from out of town, therefore there wasnt much incentive to woo us in an attempt for repeat business. Yet and still, they gave us such great service, that Im tempted to make an annual trip down just so they can work on my locs. Thats how amazing they are.Thank you to Truly Rooted for making my friends wedding day amazing. I dont have any pics yet, but hopefully, I can update this review once I get them!And to everyone else in the South Florida area - check out Truly Rooted if you want to make sure your hair is on point. You wont regret it!

    I love this salon, I will not trust no other salon to touch my locs. My retwist and color is always on point. Everyone is very professional and I love the ambiance. I can never walk out of there without purchasing earrings or charms for my hair. Love you guys.

    Gabrielle is awesome! Been going there for 3 months. Came in with extremely dry, brittle hair. Now my hair is soft and has body!!! Ive been natural for 5 years. I was frustrated and looking for something that works. Gabrielles hair care and consultatiom transformed my natural hair and now Im truly proud of my crown!!!
