    This is my favorite hair salon, Flo, the Stylist is flawless. She makes you feel so special and treats every stand of your hair with such care and precision.Jessie and Denise and Flo make an amazing team at the Yellow Strawberry salon.

    I was referred to this salon as I am new to the area, from Boston, and it is always hard trusting someone new with your hair. I couldnt be happier and will definitely be a regular here now. It is family owned - Jesse and Flo are so friendly and kind (Flo did a great job with my partial highlight and cut) and their daughter works the front desk and is so attentive and polite. The cut was a little pricey ($70) on top of the partial highlight ($110), but Im told that that is a somewhat normal price range in this area. Overall, very pleased and I highly recommend Yellow Strawberry and the Briggs family!

    The modest man who owns and operates the Yellow Strawberry Salon is truly a little know hair care guru to the rich and famous. His life story is the stuff of bestselling books and blockbuster movies. His knowledge of hair styling and wellness in unmatched by any on earth. The salons he has created have been incredibly successful and located in only the best areas around south Florida. But now Jesse has been generous enough to make his services available to regular folks like me and my honey. I reside right by the Everglades but we travel all the way to the beach for our appointments with Jesse and Flo. From his shop in Lauderdale By The Sea he creates the most awesome and joy inspiring hairstyles in the most beautiful and calming surroundings. For his skill and abilities the costs of a visit to the Strawberry is truly surprisingly affordable. My cuts are always camera ready and occasional color is always amazing. And I am always entertained. This wonderful family owned and operated business will be your last stop for all of your haircare needs, I promise.

    Yellow Strawberry is an amazing salon! Jesse and Flo are both exceptional professionals! Their expertise is nothing short of superb knowledge. Whether it is coloring, cutting or any specialty. The salon itself is bright, modern and ultra clean. And the atmosphere is vety congenial and relaxing. Denise, the receptionist is super friendly and professional.

    Flo is brilliant! I never tell her what I want done and Im always thrilled with my haircut. And I get numerous compliments. My mother loved the style so much she immediately got an appointment for herself Well worth the 2 hour drive.

    Jesse, FLO, and Denise are always amazing. I can’t thank them enough for always getting me in, and taking care of all my hair needs. When I moved from NYC, I was worried I wouldn’t find a new stylist, who could cut curl hair. Jesse does his Gypsy technique, and my curls always look amazing!     Jesse & Flo Briggs are the BEST ! Feb 2016 was Their opening of this Salon (location).I cant wait to go see them Soon! Just go there You will be glad you did.     I walked into this place after looking at reviews online, but not realizing those were for the previous salon that was here. The owners are named Flo and Jessie and are extremely nice, and know exactly what theyre doing when it comes to hair.I had used a box hair dye and it turned out to be way too dark for my skin tone and looked horrible. I went into Yellow Strawberry and explained my situation and asked if they could help. Flo immediately had a consultation with me to see what I wanted and how shed be able to help. She went to work and after lightening, cutting, and re dying my hair to the right color, it turned out amazing! She really took her time with it and made sure I would like it.My one and only issue was the sticker shock. When she had said that she needed to lighten it, then redye it, she said it would cost around $150 which I had no problem with considering that it was a lot of work to fix my color. But when she asked if I wanted it cut too, I asked how much it would cost and she said $50 for a trim and blow dry, etc. Im used to paying $15 for a cut, and she didnt take too much off. So that kind of shocked me, but it looks incredible.If you want your hair done right, I highly recommend this place; just be aware that its high priced for high quality. They are EXTREMELY nice people and offer coffee and a nice conversation. If you need your hair fixed or anything, please do come here!

    Jessies haircut looks good without effort. You know how you go to the stylist, they make haircut, blow-dry it, it looks great until you wash your head, after that it just wont look good whatever you do? This is not the case. Jessie had no problems following my wants and did his hairstyling thing. 2 weeks after I dried my hair in a bun overnight and it looks great. Thats how you identify tell good hair-stylists.

    It was my first time to Salon Zeva in Lauderdale and I couldnt be happier with the service. Emma was very professional, friendly and experienced in her craft. The salon is inviting, clean, and provides a warm, comforting atmosphere. I highly recommend Emma for all your hair needs. I ventured into a cut with Emma and she took my dead hairand turned it into something truly beautiful without taking any length off! ( I KNOW HARD TO BELIEVE) .... I knew then and there she and I were on the same wavelength... :) HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

    Jesse Briggs is a celebrity stylist for the stars and other legends in their own mind. A guy can get a haircut for $25 that just cant be beat by anyone else. I drive up from South Beach to get my haircut with Jesse because his kind of cut would cost me $100 in other areas or more and he happens to be a great guy with a great salon.Do yourself a favor and check out Yellow Strawberry and you might meet a celebrity or model or guy like me getting a great cut at a fantastic price.

    Every art genre has those whose talents puts them in that elite top star level- music blessed us with Talent like Billy Joel; the Beatles; Michael Jackson- painting gave us the genius of Michael Angelo, Picasso, and Leonardo di Vinci and hair styling it’s the brilliance of Jesse and Flo Briggs - yes, of the Yellow Strawberry fame! I’ve been going to Jesse for 44 years now, and he’s the best there is! I’ve been with him through my teenage “flash dance “ phase where he gave me that curly look with perms and sooo many curlers to my current look where he keeps the ‘un-pigmented’ hairs at bay. Jesse and Flo are always on top of the latest trends and are so expert in hair color that they’ve taught most of the ‘experts’ in the seminars that they’ve given to the top stylists in the field over the years. If you’re lucky enough to book an appointment with one of them, you will walk out of there feeling like a million bucks - and lucky for me, they’re make you feel like a million bucks but they’re priced very, very competitively. You can tell that they love what they do, and I promise, you will love them!

    I saw Juni today for a cut and style and walked away very happy! She was able to handle my long, thick, difficult hair with great skill and left it with more life than it has had in a long time.     I was recommended to Salon Zeva by my coworker. I had gone to another salon and gotten an awful cut, so I called to make an appointment at Salon Zeva for help and in the end, I got one of the BEST haircuts Ive ever received.
