    I just moved to the area and was looking for a good stylist and boy did i hit the jackpot! Mike is the absolute sweetest and knows his stuff! I couldnt be more grateful to have crossed paths! He did an amazing job and kept me up to date every step of the way! If you’re looking for a new stylist i HIGHLY recommend mike! Thanks for making me feel beautiful love!

    Michael is a top of the line hair stylist in the leading edge of haircut techniques. My hair was mess that 2 previous stylists had not been able to fix. In fact they made it worst. But Michael did a wonderful job giving me a modern look with a perfect bob.I am super happy.

    I’ve been looking for an all natural vegan hair salon and this place fell into my lap!! I actually live walking distance too so it couldn’t be more aligned. Michelle is amazing she was patient with me to get the right shade of honey blonde highlights that I wanted! I even bought a eucalyptus shampoo from the owner Michael that activates hair growth! Highly highly recommend getting your hair done here and you even get 20% off your first visit!

    Michael did such an amazing job with my hair! I had gone to a different salon for Bayalage on virgin brunette hair (12/15) and I was not content with that job. I started googling best bayalage near me and I came across Michaels website (totally user-friendly). I went for a consultation and the next day I booked him. Michael is very knowledgeable and explains everything in detail. Michael only uses organic products and my hair noticed! So, this is what Michael did (12/28):1. Reverse bayalage on the top half of my hair2. Bayalage on the bottom half of my hair3. Tone4. Wash – with one of the best-smelling organic products ever!5. Blow dry/styleAs mentioned, I went to a different salon for Bayalage, and the bleach that was used completely dried my hair… Now, the reason why I am mentioning this is because I can honestly tell you that the bleach that Michael used DID NOT fry/damage my hair and it doesn’t even smell toxic! I can feel the difference between the old blonde hair and the new blonde hair. His hands and his products truly transformed my hair, and I am so grateful to have found him. My hair actually feels healthy with the amount of blonde I have and the color blends perfectly! Michael has allowed me to feel very comfortable with my hair and for that, I can’t wait to experiment with more colors! His personality and his expertise really made my hair repair experience so much better! Thank you, Michael, for making my hair pretty again!!!

    This man knows his stuff!! So explanatory and he uses only organic products. From someone who’s highlighted my hair for years, I notice a big difference in health of my hair, after leaving his salon. The essential oils that he uses during your rinse was so relaxing, It made me feel like I was in a spa. I will definitely be a long time customer and I would highly recommend him to any of my family or friends!

    I am so happy I found this salon. Michael is truly amazing!! My hair is very fine and so damaged from other salons that I was terrified to add highlights to cover gray. I am thrilled with the results - my hair looks healthy again, working with Michael is a pleasure and I would recommend Free Spirit to anyone looking for a stylist that actually knows hair!

    Hands down, Michael is THE best hair director and Free Spirit the best hair salon Ive ever been to! Michael is so knowledgeable and educated about all the products he uses and truly has a holistic approach - to your hair AND customer service. Ive been looking for a truly organic hair salon (not one that just claims to be) for such a long time and am so excited to have found Michaels salon. During my appointment, he took so much time to listen to what I am envisioning for my hair, give his honest recommendations, and explain his techniques and products.Other than most hair salons here, he didnt primarily care about selling as many services and products as possible but wanted me to be happy and satisfied with my hair and the experience in his salon. The atmosphere at Free Spirit is so calming and uplifting, and you truly feel amazing after leaving. In other salons, I always get the feeling that hairdressers are on a time crunch and have the next client waiting while my hair is not even close to being finished. Forget about making any special requests!I will go to Michael for all my hair needs from now on and will recommend him to all my friends.     Micheal did an amazing job upgrading my hair! This has been the first haircut in years by a professional, and I would not hesitate to get it done by Michael every time. The color and styling is better than I pictured.

    I love going to this salon. Mike does such a great job telling me about the organic products and igniting my interest in hair care. He has a authentic passion for his work and it shine through. After working with him to cut and color my hair for the last couple of months, I already feel a difference in the health of my hair. Everything he uses smells good. Im planning to try some special treatments to reduce frizz and dryness.
