I visited this barber for the first time today. Dylan was remarkable. He took the time and did a quality job on my beard and shaved my head with a straight razor. Unfortunately I cannot remember the ladies name that waxed my nose and my ears. She also did a great job as well. I was astounded when they offered me a beer to drink as a complimentary service they offer. The staff was very friendly and inviting. I will be returning again when I need it again. This is the kind of barber shop I have been searching for. Its nice to have a place to go for a man to go for grooming and relax! I highly recommend them. I am very impressed with the service I received!!

Dylan may have only been cutting hair for seven months, but he handled my hyperactive 7-year-old like a pro—or at least someone who’s survived a Chuck E. Cheese shift. Caleb looks great, and I left grateful to see a boy under Chewbacca.Bonus points for tracking skills: We forgot Caleb’s jacket, but my kids had already strong-armed me into a Firehouse Subs stop. Just as I’m surrendering to their demands, in walks Dylan, jacket in hand, looking far too amused.Great cut, great service, and a stylist who could moonlight as a bounty hunter. Highly recommend.

Went it today for my first visit with MJ (Mikey J) and I wasn’t sure how the process went with a beard tailor given I have always kept up with it myself so I told him to use my beard as a blank canvas and shape it however he saw fit, needless to say I am very happy with how it went. I haven’t felt like I looked this sharp in a while! I was able to schedule an appointment fairly quickly which was surprising given how busy they are and MJ even went out of his way to invite me in 15 mins early to get to know each other and figure out what my style preferences are. Very affordable for the class of the workmanship as well as the water and coffee they offered to us while we waited. I will be back and I highly recommend you check them out as well!

I’ve been getting my cut at rakish barber for almost 4 years now. From the first timeI walked in I knew that this was the place I wanted to keep coming back to. You can almost immediately tell the passion and hard work that the owners Cam and Christina put into every detail of the barber shop. My son and I both have Ryan as our barber. This place is very casual and it’s obvious that the crew knows almost every customer by name. This is a big step up from any chain hair cut business and cool enough for a teen to experience a mens hang out atmosphere.Ryan does not do a quick one comb and scissors cut. He worked through the whole kit, patiently cutting,shaving, and evening it out to get it just right. I noticed several other men getting shaves and some beard work, also not hurried and looked very precise with their work. Overall, great experience and good bunch of folks.

The Rakish Fellow is quite literally the best barbershop I’ve ever been in. I just had my first straight razor shave. Jacob, the barber who gave me the shave, was the best introduction to the life of professional shaves. If you need a shave, Jacob is the guy to do it. The cost is a little more than other venues but you get what you pay for, professional barbers who are serious about their trade. They were easy to find at Uprown StationThe decor was rustic and had the feel of the traditional barber shops I remember growing up so it appealed to me. I was greeted as soon as I walked in, had just a short wait before having a seat what was a comfortable tradional style barber chair.Jeramy was professional and skilled as well as pleasent. After the cut came the hot towel for my shave. Jeramy did an excellent job and I felt and looked great. I have to say even a man deserves to be pampered sometimes and Rakish Fellow is the place to go.

Tried out Rakish Fellow for the first time today and I would definitely recommend this place. I would say it’s the best barbershop in the area. Alaira was very professional and extremely detail oriented. She is a true master at her trade. I will definitely be back!

I needed a trim for my beard which was way out of control. I was srarting to look like I was Amish. I read the reviews for Rakish Fellow and decided to drive to the shop and discuss what I wanted done. I assumed that a shop specializing in beard sculpting would be booked solid so I was prepared to come back on another day when I arrived. I went inside and was immediately greeted. I discussed what I was interested in having done and asked for advice. I was given a wealth of information then was told that they could sculpt my beard right then. That was a nice surprise since I drove for half an hour to get there. I explained that it was my first time there. They put me in the capable hands of Alaira Easler. I had not read any reviews about Alaira before I arrived so I decided to just put my trust in her and see how things turned out. She was very meticulous and didnt rush at all. Everything was very professional and at the end of the sculpting experience my beard looked better than it ever has. I wholeheartedly endorse Alaira and the shop as a whole. When you speak to anyone representing Rakish Fellow you will immediately notice that everyone there takes pride in making sure that the customer is pleased with the inputs from the staff. I felt like a million bucks when I left and cant wait till my next visit. They offer many different specialties so take the time to check out what they offer for your grooming needs. First time getting my haircut and a beard trimmed here and the dude did a pretty sweet job I cant remember his name. I told him to do a mullet and he was stoked so that was pretty cool. The only thing that kept them from a five star is when I made my appointment they asked if I wanted anything else besides the haircut and I asked for a beard trim and the girl I talked to said that was cool. When he was done cutting my hair I asked if he was going to hit my beard and he said he can shape the line a little bit but thats all he was going to have time for. I did call and ask for a same day appointment so not a big deal but i didnt get my beard trimmed so I would recommend people to these guys for sure. 👍

Where do I start? Rakish Fellow is by far the best beard maintenance institution in the area. Period. Dot. I first started my beard journey just over a year ago after retiring. I was new and drew Michael Jablonski from the hat. Best move I could have made. MJ took on the challenge, and he is the master of his domain. Every experience there is better than the next. MJ is a consummate professional but also takes the time to make you feel welcome and at home (as does the whole staff). He has taken my beard from its infancy to a masterpiece. I am constantly receiving compliments on my beard. MJ and all the staff are friendly and welcoming. The shop is an immaculate, comfortable setting. The last year has been an experience every customer should and will receive. MJ actually knows who I am personally because he takes the time to know each of his customers.
