Ive been going here for approximately 2 years and feel like 5 stars isnt anywhere near enough recognition for the service that is offered at Su Lu Room. Christina is amazing! Shes easy to work with and truly loves what she does. Shes is always looking at ways to help her clients by educating herself with classes and training as well as doing research on more than just hair. I’ve been seeing Christina for I think over a year now and she’s been incredible every single time. She is a wonderful stylist and her salon has a great vibe. Every time I see her, she makes sure she understands what I want and takes her time to get the right color or cut. I’ve been recommending her to all my friends and family. She did a fantastic curly cut for my son who has very curly/coarse hair, and she completely transformed his hair. She is a true professional and I would highly recommend her!

Something like that Christina helped me transition to gray after coloring my hair for over 20 years!!!. She’s been cutting my wild massive curly gray hair for 15 years .I wouldn’t go to anybody else but her. I love the quiet space of respite that her salon provides, and I love the ease of which I can always schedule. I always feel so much better after being with her. If you’re in Gainesville in Ocalla, I can’t recommend any better salon, then Sulu.

Best. Haircuts. Ever. Christina took the time to understand my hair, hair goals, and daily routine. Her cutting process was so refreshing, as she worked with my hair’s natural shape during the dry cutting and putting the finishing touches on after washing. My hair is straight, fine, and thick, and I’ve struggled with finding a stylist who can give it body and movement without relying on heat tools. Christina has also done a fabulous job cutting my boyfriend’s hair, which is very curly, corse, and thick. It was my favorite haircut he’s ever gotten. That leads me to the one negative.. Su Lu Room is in Florida and I live in NC. I book an appointment any time I’m in the area visiting family, and the last time she was able to fit me in right before my flight out of Gainesville airport, just down the road. I walked on that plane feeling like a new person!

I can not say enough positive words about Christina Meng at Su Lu Room in Gainesville, FL. She is talented, kind, humble, hardworking, and an extraordinary person. The shop is laid back and welcoming. She has been cutting and coloring my hair for almost a year and consistently makes me look and feel beautiful. She uses above average products (Davines) in her salon. I am using the Davines shampoo and conditioner at home and just love how my hair shines and the great condition it keeps it in. Dont hesitate to try this salon.
