    I got my haircut here and I really liked it. She is Korean stylist, so she has the skills, the way it is set up right now is completely approptiate for this COVID circumstance. Only one person at a time can get the service based on reservations. The price is reasonbale and I will definitely get my hair cut in this place from now on!

    Have you even found a really good local food or coffee joint that you didn’t want to tell people about so it was like ….your thing?That’s Sun for me. She may work from a cart, but I have paid 3x the amount she charges at other salons/barber shops, and most of the time they don’t have her attention to detail or warm personality.I have gotten all kinds of cuts and even a few perms for texture, and she has done a great job accommodating me. Call ahead if you can!Thank you Sun! I feel at ease knowing you can make my hair look both good and often better than I what I envisioned when I went into your shop!

    Son does a great job, very pleasant, listens to your wants, and directions, and delivers. I prefer more of a military high fade, and her fades are crisp, and even. Very affordable in this town of $35 and up haircuts which is insane. Its a little difficult finding her place the first time, its a gate at the back of the north side parking lot of comfort inn off 13th st. But really cool setup, a box van, converted to a barber shop, with glass sides. Very beautiful garden she has done also. Give her the opportunity, she will impress.

    The owner is very friendly and cuts your hair exactly as you request. She also does an excellent job at a reasonable cost. It takes me an hour and a half to reach her, but it is well worth the drive. I highly recommend going to her.

    Amazing cuts, amazing price, great service, friendly owner. They cut my hair with a fade better than I had envisioned it, and exactly it came out perfectly for my head shape. Most barbers mess up the back of my head, but they cut my hair to make my hair look good on my head - I will be coming here from now on, and will miss this place when I move. If you want to look fresh, come here!i Make sure to reserve a time over call or Facebook, they seem to be busy!

    I got my hair cut today. Sunny is one of the most professional hair stylists and most importantly, I love the way Sunny did my hair! I have very thick and curly hair; its been so challenging to find a hair designer who can actually manage my hair properly. The price is very reasonable as well. I highly recommend this place and will certainly revisit. Although she takes walk-ins, be mindful that she is the only one staff in the shop so you may have to put your name down and come back later. She said Monday or Tuesday is the least busy time so you may expect marginal wait time if you visit one of those days. I would recommend calling ahead of time and check her availability. She can provide you estimated time when she can take you in. Overall, I was extremely happy with her service and she was very friendly and nice. 😀Edit: correct typo

    Sun is very sweet and attentive to whatever requests you have with your hair. Ive got pretty poofy thick hair, and she cut it really nicely! Ill definitely visit again. Also, the whole place is just very cozy and peaceful :)

    I am really really glad that I found her. After years of switching my barbershop I finally found my perfect barbershop. I have cut my hair 4 times here already and I will go back anytime I need a haircut. She cuts fast and according to whatever style you ask. Also I always call ahead and she makes sure she finds time to cut my hair and I usually don’t have to wait to get my hair cut which makes the experience 10 times better because I do not like waiting in a line like other places.

    Amazing experience! She was extremely nice and very quick but very careful and attentive to details. I’m am new to the area, and very weary about new barbers, as my hair is very important to me, and I often have difficulty finding a place that I like, but she put all of my fears to rest! Glad to say I found my barber!!!

    Sun is definitely a hidden gem stylist in Gainesville area. As a Korean, I usually request a particular style to a stylist but I doesnt always end up with what I wanted due to the lack of experience a stylist may had. All you need is a photo of a style you want and Sun will make it happen. She is also very hospital and pleasant, and her rate is very reasonable (hence I always tip accordingly). She is also very cautious with necessary COVID precautionary measures, which makes me feel safe. Im glad she offers her service in my area and look forward to stopping by once in a while.

    Sun has been giving me a quality haircut since she moved to Gainesville. Before meeting her, I drove all the way to Jacksonville to get my haircut from a Korean barber. I showed her pictures of the haircut I had in a popular hair salon in Gangnam district in Seoul and she was able to give me the exact same haircut. I feel very fortunate that she and her family members moved to Gainesville and I hope that she eventually open a hair shop in Gainesville.
