Curly hair is complícated and my teen daughter wanted a haircut. We don’t have “Dominican hair” but decided to give it a try anyway. A friend had highly recommended HDS. Sandra did an amazing job. Starting with a good wash & detangled her hair faster than anyone ever has. She was very percise cutting her hair. Then dried and ironed it straight at my request. It looks great! My daughter, who was reluctant to have it straightened seems to be enjoying her new look. We plan to return. Sandra and the others were very nice and attentive. I plan to bring my other girls for their haircut soon. Here are some before and after photos.

My hair stylist today was osmayra! First of all the wash was amazing. Hair felt nice and clean after a few washes. The blow dry was impeccable and done by sections which creates a longer style: then finished with a flat iron all done by sections. Overall love the service. Highly recommended.

I have been coming to this salon for over 15 years, and I absolutely love this place! They make you feel like family. Cenia, my main hairstylist, is amazing—I love her! She knows exactly how I like my hair and always recommends new services to help it grow beautifully. She always treats me like a VIP!When Cenia has a day off or I need a last-minute walk-in for an event, Sandra, Jessica, and the rest of the team are always fantastic. One thing I never have to worry about is my hair because, no matter what, I always come here, pay a great price, and receive excellent service!The atmosphere is always upbeat, with music, Cuban coffee, and great salon conversations. I haven’t been to a hair salon in quite a long time but I LOVED my experience with Yessenia, she treated my hair carefully and as someone with dominican curly hair I stay away from salons since it feels like they can never get it sleek enough even when they tug on my hair with a lot of heat. Fortunately Yessenia barely tugged on my hair to the point i didn’t even feel it and she constantly kept the blow dryer moving to prevent straight heat on my hair. She applied heat protectant and combed through my curly hair with a wide tooth comb so gently. She let my hair so sleeked down it looks so long! The salon was very clean and organized with clean tools and clean towels too!! Loved it and will be going again!!

This is my normal salon…I always use Sylvia as my stylist she does absolutely AMAZING work. I went two weeks ago in the evening and she wasn’t there. I asked the two ladies on the left were they available. They were not but Sandra who I trust pointed to the last chair on the right a new lady I never seen before…I got a blowout and trim, that was reverting back before I got out the chair! She tells me I owe $120…For WHAT?! Something that will not last the heat and it was a trim not a cut!! Sandra saw my hair was beginning to swell and tried to flatten it back….Needless to say this experience had me looking for a NEW SALON!!! I have NEVER paid this much!! Not to mention the style did NOT last 1 hour after I left!!

There is plenty of parking and their hours are convenient.Silvia Has been doing my hair extensions And styling for two years now, her technique and the way she blends my natural hair with the extensions Simply accentuates The results.I have also had my wash n set or was n blow done by other ladies. They all work well together; a really good team.The plus in the commute is that I get to shop in the nearby Spanish stores. ☺️
