Edited: the owner and most of the stylist here are great wonderful and polite people. The other patrons here that were getting their hair done by other stylists seemed quite happy with their hair. The salon has a nice vibe, for this reason, I don’t want to bad mouth the whole place as I think I only had bad luck with the stylist I had “Yelisxa” she doesn’t speak English and probably doesn’t have a cosmetology license. She didn’t do what I asked at all and died my roots when I had not asked for that. I didn’t realize she was bleaching them and she left the bleach on for an exuberant amount of time while she chatted on the phone. I now have orange roots that don’t match the rest of my hair. I’m booking with a color specialist at a different salon next week. Thanks Yelisxa.

This is my happy place in hollywood! The service here it’s great the owner Alexander it’s always around and his job it’s just the best I’ve done different treatments there, such as haircuts, blow dry, makeup, hair treatments… They treat you like family and all of the team members are high quality professionals 😀

Right off the bat, I had a great experience at Alexander’s! I was visiting from WA state and my hair was aching for care. I passed by Alexander’s and decided to come inside and have them check my hair out and suggest anything, ANYTHING- I had a big party coming up! Yelitza took a look at my hair and, based on what I wanted, suggested the Keratin treatment.The results were incredible! The process was a lot more comfortable than Id thought it was going to be: no strong odors, or hours sitting and waiting. This is a rise-out, same-day treatment that left me pleasantly surprised- I have very coily hair, which not everyone knows to treat. My hair did not break at all, and since then (its been 7 days now) it’s been a lot easier to do my hair because the curls are a lot softer (I wear my hair straight). I have washed my hair since then, and did not have to blow it dry or use the straightener yet. I just had to let it dry on its own and I was ready to go!!! Yelitza also cut my hair because it had a lot of breakage from treatments I’d done in the past. I am also surprised that I even love my new haircut; I was on the fence about cutting it in the first place! Even though I live so far from FL, I am willing to travel there more often now just to get my hair treated here! Needless to say, my hair looked gorgeous at the big party I went to!P.S: Equally as important to me, people at this salon were incredibly caring and fun to be around. They offered me and my mom coffee and “pan dulce” a delicious sweet bread from where I come from (Venezuela). We chatted with other hairdressers there who in a matter of minutes I felt comfortable to be myself around! SO MUCH FUN and happy vibes. Anthony, Alexander, Maritza, and of course, my fabulous Yelitza! Los veo pronto!!!!

I loved this place as soon as I came in. I was greeted by Julio who helped my get my first eyelash ever by Marian! And then Yoly patiently helped me get a color I loved for my mani and pedi. My mom and I bought a groupon to do our nails and we were very happy. The customer service at this salon is wonderful. They make you feel very welcome. Its also very clean. I did my nails with Jaqueline. Shes so sweet and friendly. My mom with Yoli. My reason for 4 stars is I noticed some of my nails werent as neat as I would have liked on the edges but thats not a huge deal. Im still very happy with the service. I highly recommend this place and I recommend Jaqueline.

Im so happy I gave this place a shot! Honestly its a hidden gem, as soon as I walked in the man at the front desk offered me a coffee while I waited to get my mani and pedi (small gesture that goes a long way in my eyes) shortly after the nail tech was ready for me, I asked for something specific and she said she was gonna do her best since she had never done that before and boy did she do an excellent job. I would highly recommend this salon to anybody!

I loved it! I got my mani/ pedi today , everyone was kind . I found them in Groupon (for reasonable price ) and I am so happy with the results... The place is clean and you can enjoy a delicious cafe con leche ( on the house ) ... I really liked Salon Alexander ... congrats to everybody you make the people feel so comfortable...
