    I was referred to DA Hair Studio because my hair needed some serious TLC and my regular stylist retired. Well, I am so glad to have found my hair and scalp doctor; Dee is a true professional with serious skills. She made sure I understood everything she was recommending and brought my hair back to life. She also made sure I didn’t get a service that would further damage my hair; she educated me. Never have I had a scalp treatment, but Dee added it because, as I now understand, healthy hair starts from within and at the scalp. Wow, who knew how amazing a scalp treatment would feel. Though it is intended to help the scalp and hair, especially as my hair is starting to thin around my forehead and temples, I felt tension easing from my head to my ankles. To end this awesome appointment, I left with hair that looked fresh, healthy, nourished and beautiful. She added dimension to my long hair through amazing layers with so much weight being lifted, and instead of additional damage though highlights, she did a treatment and glazing, which totally helped my existing colors to be toned, yet pop in a very natural looking way. Definitely exceeded expectations; it was an amazing experience. Needless to say, my next appointment is booked. The search for a new stylist, or should I say “hair doctor”, is over. Thank you, Dr. Dee!

    I’ve been going to Dee for YEARS because no one else is allowed to touch my hair. She knows texture and how to lighten the load. She knows how your hair falls and how it will fall when cut with clippers or scissors. I always feel brand new walking out of there and my confidence renewed!Also the scalp treatment is absolutely divine! You get a head massage with oil that melts all the worries away. Do it!

    I chose Dee because of a close friend of mine who always has beautiful and healthy looking hair, and I couldnt have been happier with my experience! Dee is so professional, yet friendly and welcoming at the same time. Her techniques were spot on and my cut came out exactly how I wanted it. She advised me on products I could use to help my color treated hair, and those too have been life savers! You can tell by her attitude and skill that she loves what she does! It was also nice to see that she also loves teaching with patience and enthusiasm, as her apprentice closely watched and asked questions. I cant wait to go back, and I am so happy to have finally found a stylist who listens and delivers! She is amazing, and I would absolutely recommend her to anyone!

    I first have to compliment how welcoming Jamie is. The first time we met she made me feel very comfortable and we had conversation as if we were friends catching up. Then came seeing my hair after having zero maintenance in a while and I couldnt have been happier with the results. Strongly recommend this salon. They do great work and feeling like your spending time with a friend is incomparable.

    I have been to many stylists over the years. I have curly hair and it’s not always an easy mane to manage. Dee is by far one of the best stylist I have ever seen. She truly listens to what you want, guides you through the process and finds something that will work and leaves you with a style that is easy to maintain. I have had constant compliments since my appointment (a month ago)! The color is spectacular and really brightens up my appearance and the cut has been the best one I’ve ever had. It’s fun, modern and looks really healthy. I can’t thank her enough for making me feel so comfortable with my hair for the first time in ages!

    I’ve been a client of Dee’s for five years and I never leave her salon disappointed. She gave me and helped me maintain the perfect pixie for our first 3 years together then patiently helped me grow it out to the shoulder length style I wear now. She’s a master stylist whether your hair is long or short, but her pixie cuts are *chef’s kiss* perfection; they’re modern and of the moment! Dee is also a master colorist. I’ve had platinum blonde, gunmetal, pink, chocolate brown, and now sun kissed blonde hair in the five years I’ve been with her and she managed to take me through all those shades beautifully and with minimal damage to my fine hair. Dee is talented, kind, funny, down to earth and is an exceptionally talented stylist! I am grateful to be one of her clients.

    Absolutely love my cut! I did a huge chop (mid to low back up to a bob) and felt so comfortable and excited after discussing my wants with Dee. She listened to exactly what I wanted, kindly looked at my many inspo pics, and gave me exactly what I wanted. She took her time, made sure I was happy, and just overall was so sweet and supportive.     I have been going to Dee from some 1,5 year now, every 8 weeks or so. First time I came, she gave me dramatic makeover, something I wanted to do but never could describe it or express it.     The best! Ive been going to Dee for over 15 years (time flies!) and she continues to make me look great. What I love is that shes great at both cut and color which is not easy to find. She also stays very on top of hair trends and has me rocking new looks many months before they go mainstream. She also has a great sense on what cuts and colors look good on me, my skin tone, face shape, etc.Her new location in Hollywood is really great and easy to get to... and this Miami girl doesnt venture into Broward often! :)

    I recently had my second visit to DA Hair Studio and now consider myself a client! After moving to the area in January, I was looking for someone who knows how to do short cuts. Most of the salons I found had VERY FEW (if any) photos of short hairstyles posted. But when I came across Dees site and Facebook page, she had a ton of photos of everything she does... including short cuts; and I really liked what I saw! Dee is extremely passionate about her craft and does everything to ensure you have the best experience! She is extremely knowledgeable - especially about color - and works with you to give you exactly what you want. Also, shes is very vigilant about making sure her clients are protected from COVID transmission. Ive been very careful about venturing out, but I felt very safe at her studio from all of the disinfecting and precautions that she has instituted. I left feeling so happy with my cut and color!! I highly recommend her to anyone!

    Started going to Dee in December of 2021 to finally get a semi pixie cut. Dee is so good that I finally had the courage to go full pixie the following cut we had scheduled. The is the only hairstylist I trust with my thick unruly hair. She is an EXPERT in short cuts specially pixie cuts. I have never loved my hair as much as I have since December of 2021.     I had loved the show Shear Genius and had started going to Dee after she won (!!!) as she had her studio close to me on Miami Beach. After moving to NYC for 4 years I was so grateful to return to Miami and find out that she was still in the area.     Im a new person ! I went to Dee and my hair was a real, real mess. I arrived and was seated right on time, very nice, clean, safe and all around welcoming salon. I was upset as how Ive been looking lately. You Miami girls know when the color turns into cucaracha color right ? Well that was me X10, my hair was extremely damaged and just down right sad looking. Dee took time and care to really examine my hair and what would be best suited for me. I now have a beautiful color and awesome cut.     Lana did an amazing job I had a vision for the dye color I wanted but I wasn’t to sure. She worked with me till we got the right color for my hair and it came out wonderfully. I wake up and am happy with the hair I have. she’s really good with knowing what color hair looks best for you, especially bright wild colors.     Wow, Dee is a magician with her hands! My pixie/bob was in terrible condition when I arrived at the salon.     Ive only gone to Dee once recently, and when Im on the East Coast I will be going back to her immediately. Firstly, she came highly recommended from a major west coast master of hair and in addition to him, my boyfriend who has been going to her for about a year. I needed major color correction, a trim, a conditioning treatment and then some. I had major brass going on prior to coming into her (another stylist) and she made my hair go from subpar to looking fabulous. She was fun, spunky, entertaining and really cares about how her clients feel and look when walking out of her salon. Her assistant also did an amazing blowout as well. All and all she does great cuts for men, amazing color and very diverse to climates and different hair types. She also keeps up with the latest trends and states the prices from the word go.     When I relocated to Florida 20 plus years ago I spent many many years in search of a great hair artist. The type you can just sit in their chair and not worry about whether they understand what you want, or if theyre cutting too much off. I was fortunate enough to have found a PHENOMENAL hair artist 8 years ago - Dee Adames. Dee truly listens to what you want and delivers. She not only meets my expectations but she exceeds them. Her skills are on point! Her cuts are amazing, so amazing that even when they grow out they still look great. She is the best colorist I have ever seen. She understands what colors looks best on me based on my skin tone. She has done killer bayalage, highlights, base color, etc on me. Everywhere I go people compliment my hair and color. Im a busy mom of three so I dont have time to sit and blow out my hair at home, Im a wash and go girl; her cut is so good that my hair looks awesome without having to do anything to it. There is only one person who will ever touch my hair and thats Dee.

    In an impromptu moment, I stopped in to DA Studios to talk with them about my mess of hair. Im so happy I did! When I walked in, J (Jaime), was so friendly and professional. Coincidentally, she had a last minute cancellation and before I knew it I was in her chair discussing what cut I wanted. I also asked about coloring my hair...something Ive never done. J gave me a medium pixie cut and a gloss coloring that took care of my sparkles (what they affectionately call our greys)! Its been two weeks since my chance meeting with J and my hair still looks and feels amazing! Whats even funnier is that some people still cant figure out whats different about me...LOL! J and Dee (owner) are amazing, and I look forward to my next appointment!!
