I’ve been reluctant to take my 7 year old to the salon because she is so tender headed. I went to Sammy for my own hair and wanted to see how my daughter would do. She was GREAT! My daughter usually cries a lot when I do her hair because she has a lot of very thick hair!! She did not cry for Sammy and we will be making this a routine moving forward!!!

I had the pleasure of receiving a silk press by Lucia and she was amazing! I have really thick natural hair and I am always nervous when meeting a new stylist but Lucia took her time and made sure I was okay and comfortable every step of the way. This was the best silk press experience I’ve had. The owner Diana was really sweet and welcoming and she even gave me some hair tips on retaining my length. I will be back for sure. I received so many compliments on my hair!

Lucia took me in without an appointment!I was so over my hair and needed a change.She did a coffee bayloge to my hair and 5 hours later I was a new woman. Just iver the weekend I have gitten a million compliments on my hair. Everyone at the salon is so sweet and accommodating. Pricey? yes a little but you get what you pay for and I LOVE my hair! I will definitely be back.

I LOVE THIS PLACE and I LOVE DIANA’s work.I literally travel from Puerto Rico to Miami to see her. She has taken care of my hair for about 8 years. Diana always understands what I want and suggests the best way to go to make sure my hair is healthy and that I leave her salon happy with the results. Diana’s hands are amazing, I literally could fall asleep while she does my hair.I used to have hair extensions and she removed them and started hydrating my hair once a month to repair the damage and I am amazed with the results. I waited 6 months before bleaching it again as she suggested and my hair is blonde and healthy which isn’t that common.Her new salon is so beautiful and I enjoy my time there. Everybody is nice and they make great coffee lol.I truly recommend this place and Diana’s and Adanay’s work.Thank you Diana

My mom (who was a highlighted blonde) was in town visiting and decided to color her hair with a box color… mistake. Her hair was 1st bright orange then after the 2nd box was a mixture of orange and brown. She is beautiful regardless but the hair color was rough. So we found Sammy’s online on Tuesday then got an appointment the next day at 10am. She was pleasantly surprised to find that the owner, Sammy, was going to do her hair. Sammy jumped into action and gave my mom a beautiful color (dirty blonde) and the orange was gone (Thank God)! She also gave her a color treatment conditioning (bc the hair was hanging on within an inch of its life). Then she styled and cut her hair to look healthy again! Then, unlike MANY experiences in the miami and Miramar area, we were pleasantly surprised at the register. She did not overcharge and my mom was more than happy to tip her a great amount that she earned and it still was not even close to the amount we have been charged before. My mom left smiling and sending pics to my dad showing off! Needless to say, we can’t recommend Sammy and her salon more! Give her a chance and you won’t regret it!

I live far away from this place but I had the pleasure to meet Diana, before at another location and I loved her work so much I rather go where ever she is, because she never disappoints, she is the best color artists I know in miami, I trust her, she has all the best of the best techniques, i would love to have her closer and maybe with a better price but that’s what it takes to be with an experienced professional, she works with passion love and grace, so are the results, therefore is totally worth it, highly recommended, also the kindness the whole family treat us is the touch of having a little Colombian kindness and love 💗.

My first time here, which was months back, was a great experience overall. My hair was long enough to get braids so I was looking at options. After searching around my area I found Sammy’s Hair Salon. It was a quick call as they were able to see me instantly. I was seen by Maritza (owner) which took great care of me and exceeded all expectations. Wonderful down-to earth, had a great conversation in which she learned it was my first time getting braids and she was even able to teach me about hair care etc. needless to say the braids came out VERY well and since then I haven’t looked elsewhere to get braids. Sammy (daughter of Maritza) has been the go to for hair wash and braids. I have gotten different designs, purchased recommend hair care products and haven’t used any other products - even have used it on my daughters hair and I have noticed the difference. All in all wonderful place to go to. Everyone there is like family in which they are very welcoming and friendly. I highly recommend Sammy’s Hair!

I have been going to these hard working ladies for over 10yrs now and they do an excellent job with your hair. My mom who suffered from a stroke cant put any chemicals in her hair but since I have been taking to this salon her her has grown. For the customer (AD) who wrote the negative review all I can say is that you are a liar and these ladies did nothing about your hair problem/issue. You are the first customers who has complained and for all the business and the clientele that go there I pretty sure there would be more complaints against them. I have going to my hair stylist Maritza for over 15 years and have been receiving exellent service each and every time. She cares about your hair and take time out to explain each and every procedure before moving forward. She has refused to color my hair because in her opinion it was not healthy enough. As she puts in her ‘animated’ way it’s not about the money. She encouraged men to go natural and I have been natural for 15 years.I get great compliments on my hair and have encouraged other people to visit. Whether it’s for a Botox treatment or just for a regular shampoo I will go nowhere else. She also does beautiful and natural extensions on my daughters hair as well. Maritza and S Hair Bar is the place to go for your full salon experience.
