Christian is AMAZINGLY SWEET!!!!! She was so helpful and smiled while she assisted me the entire time. She walked around the store with me showing me the products I needed and even helped me save money here and there by offering similar or better products that were on sale. It only save me a few bucks but a few bucks is a few bucks. In this type of business, you typically encounter rude staff. But seeing her smiling face made me less intimidated to ask for help. I was also inquiring about her hair because I was looking for a similar type hair so she took down her ponytail to show me the length. I feel she went above and beyond and she’s the reason I will return again and again. Now on a more sour note, ONE THING I CANNOT STAND IS an employee that follows you around the store. I am a 51 year old woman and I have shopped here numerous times and I don’t steal…EVER. There is a woman (older white woman) who seemed to be over my shoulder everywhere I turned. When I went to check out, she literally stood there and watched my interaction with Christian. Here is what I have to say about overzealous people like this…when you own a store, or manage a store and especially in a specific type of neighborhood, the last thing you want to do is treat everyone as if they are shoplifters. The idea is to treat everyone with kindness and respect until they show you that they mean you or your business harm. I am a paying customer and I’ve been here more than once to patronize this business. I suggest you get real security or figure out a better way because NO ONE WANTS TO FEEL LIKE A CRIMINAL JUST SIMPLY BECAUSE THEY WALKED INTO YOUR BUSINESS!!! Respect is KEY! I think her name was Ghada or something similar. But to Christian, thank you so much for being such a helpful, sweet and customer oriented young lady. Had it not been for you, I would have walked out and went elsewhere to spend my money. Ghada, do better. Nothing wrong with watching people when they enter, but discretion is your best friend in this situation! Following people or standing there watching them is NOT THEY WAY!!! It’s annoying, rude and insulting!
