Layla is a wonderful stylist and this salon is great. Because of my hair type I’ve had a lot of people suggesting I perm it. But I like my natural hair and prefer to wear it this way. Epic hair studios is a hidden gem that needs to be more popular. As hard as it is to be apart of the natural hair community you can always use some help. I never thought I could go to a salon and feel so happy when I left. Follow on instagram and make your appointment you won’t be disappointed!

I had the pleasure of being worked on by Leila today. From beginning to end the experience was excellent. Prompt and friendly greeting from the staff. Leila listened to my concerns and responded accordingly. The salon was clean, and offered a relaxed atmosphere. I left VERY happy and will certainly return for Ms Leila to do my hair again! I have been a client of Epic Hair Studio for 5 years and I am never disappointed. Saasha, the co-owner is my main hair stylist, however other ladies such as co-owner Krystal and Trisha have also taken great care of my hair when needed. I trust them so much that I have recommended them to several of my clients (I am a wedding/event planner). They are truly EPIC and can nail any hairstyle.

Im very particular about my hair and its been difficult to find my spot. But, 5 years ago I started going to Epic and they never disappoint. All of the Queens here do a fantastic job! The atmosphere is welcoming and the quality of service superb. There arent many places where ALL the stylist do a great job, this is Epic! Thank you ladies for always providing an amazing experience. My 1st visit here.Leila was great!She helped me feel comfortable during our consultation and I was confident in her skills to assist me with my hair journey.Her recommendations were useful and her technique was great. My hair came out beautifully. She defined my curls and they are popping!!! I have never seen this much definition in my coils!! I have been a client at Epic since 2017, I was desperately in need of a natural hair salon after trying a few others that cause my hair to break and had serve scalp damage. Crystal was my hair stylist and suggested I start from scratch and cut my entire hair down to the roots. I have to say Epic saved my hair and it has grown so much since. I schedule my appointments every 3-4 weeks, for a wash and braids and treatments plus trim every 3 months. I use the leave in conditioner along with the magic oils offered at the salon. I cant express in words how happy I am with the growth and healthiness of my hair and have recommend Epic to anyone looking for a salon that truly understands black hair.

Nia is a very knowledgeable kind, sweet, stylist who is very skilled in caring for natural hair. After my previous stylist moved away and her recommended stylist at Epic was fully booked, I gave Nia a try based on reviews and Im very glad I did. Let me start by saying my first visit will not be my last.The shop is nice and clean and the stylists are friendly.Well the stylist recommended was not available.. So I took a chance with Nia.. This was the best decision Nia is quite knowlegeable regarding haircare and creative with styling. I came with one idea and left with one I like better.Patience and thoroughness resulted in a braid style I Love.. So, thank you Nia and Ill see ya soon.

This was my first time at the salon and I was very pleased. I was greeted upon entering the establishment. Saasha was very friendly and kind. She was running behind due to personal reasons and was very apologetic about it. I really appreciated her apologizing more than once because it shows that she cares about her clients’ time.Saasha inspected my hair beforehand and gave me lots of tips throughout the process about how to better care for my hair. I witnessed her do the same for another client. It is very obvious she cares about the health of our hair.The only negative is the time that it took for service to be completed. It has taken a little over 3 hours for a wash, interlock and dry. Granted, my hair, though short, is thick, and hadn’t been groomed since June, so I had a lot of new growth. I suppose if I had the expectation before coming in, it wouldn’t have been so bad. Additionally, she had to pause doing my hair a couple of times to answer the phones. This is actually a good problem to have! Business seems to be doing well, however, I just wish clients would book services on the website so that the time doesn’t take away from the clients in the shop.I loved the end result and would recommend this salon. Very clean, stylists wore masks and Saasha showed lots of patience with other clients. I will be back!

Very professional and fun atmosphere! I dont particularly like going to the salon but all the ladies made the experience worth while! My stylist Kyrstal explained every procedure she did and answered every question I had. We had healthy discussion about all types of topics and it was great to see a community of professional black women gather together! Loved my hairstyle too!!!

These ladies are amazing. Friendly customer service. They do amazing work carrying for not just the beauty but the health of my hair. My 9 year old daughter also loves coming and they are so accommodating. Easy to book online for available appointments. No hesitation in recommending.

Yesterday (7/3) I went into Epic for my monthly visit with stylist Krystal for (my double twist and color). As always I am overly pleased with the outcome of my style and service. In the age of the Corona Virus I must admit I was a little nervous (Broward County being one of the hot spots). Well I must say I was genuinely impressed with the salon. From the time I entered the salon the staff was on top of the CDC guidelines. All the staff and patrons had their masks on covering both mouth and noses. My temperature was taken at the front counter and all work stations were clearly spaced according to guidelines, if not more so. I was there for several hours and Witnessed the staff sanitizing and disinfecting common areas and surfaces after each use. I was just as impressed to see the CDC guidelines requirements posted for the customers to review as well. I did ask the where abouts of some of the other stylists and was informed they were staggering their clients. Thank you Epic for making me feel comfortable and putting my safety first. Your care and service was definitely worth the venture out. Michelle Frails

If youre looking for someone to LOVE your hair, then this is the sophisticated Salon Epic! I have made this Saloon my hair home for eight years. If I leave, its like having an affair which is extremely senseless! Great customer service 👏, great with appointments and very professional. I Love it, and so does my hair!!!

Saasha is amazing. i appreciate the time she took explaining what my hair needs to get better and the plan to get there, i got out of there with my natural no relaxer straight hair (silk press) and with oils to care for it til im back. already booked my next appt. .
