It’s right in the name! LOVE 518 is the only place we trusted to get my daughter’s hair unmated. Flew from Las Vegas to Miami and was the best decision. This was unlike any salon I’ve ever been two, these two beautiful ladies were the sweetest people I’ve ever met. Not only is it such a pleasure to be in the room with them but they were able to detangle my matted hair so so quickly, it was pain free, and then she gave me a gorgeous cut. My scalp hasn’t felt this good & I haven’t felt this confident in a very long time. I can’t wait to go back ❤️

This salon is the reason my daughter didnt lose her hair after battling depression. Her videos on dematting showed us that all we needed was someone with PATIENCE. We found such a person and wow! It is highly worth watching how wonderful this woman treated her customers. We didnt go to her salon ONLY because we are in Indiana, but the hairdresser we used watched her videos for inspiration and then helped us defeat the depression. Thank you for being a human being and spreading Gods love!

This hair salon is THE BEST. This salon is not near to where I live- so I made my arrangements and flew out there. Ive been there a couple of times in the past for services. Hadassa & Marlyn are kind, funny, motivating & above all... they know hair!! And if you need any kind of detangling service, they are the ones to go to, promise you!!

Since I dont live anywhere near Florida I didnt have the option of going to this salon, but the helpful and inspiring videos they put out on detangling severely matted hair saved me from having to shave my head. I will be forever grateful to these wonderful miracle workers. They gave me hope when there was none and now after half a year I can finally run a brush through my hair. I came to this wonderful and intimate salon for a big chop. The services blew me away! Hadassa was very careful and attentive when she cut my hair. When she gave me a shampoo, scalp treatment and conditioner, i felt so relaxed. My hair felt soft and healthy as well. She made sure that the results of my big chop were perfect. I definitely recommend coming here for an intimate and caring salon experience.

Awesome Experience!!! I had my hair braided for about 5 months and it started to matter and I just could not take my hair out and was about to cut it. Then I saw her video on YouTube. Learned she was only 20 minutes away. Booked her right away and she was polite, non judgmental, and gave me an hair detox on my 4c hair. And gave me an keratin treatment as I wanted to retain my hair but make it more tame-able. My hair felt very soft but strong and resilient and I feel my hair went to an 4b and still felt lovely. I got a blow out and silk wrap. My hair is now straight which should last about 4-6 weeks before it reverts back but I now have shoulder length hair which looks thick for the first time ever! I am hoping to have bra length hair by next year this time! Her service was definitely worth the price and saving of my once matted hair!

Incredible, incredible, incredible!!! I did Japanese Hair Straitening with her, and Hadassa has transformed my hair into perfection! I have really tough, thick hair that is impossible to straighten on my own. When I walked into the Salon I immediately felt how intimate and beautiful the space was. What ultimately blew me away was the service. I walked in in need of change, I walked in as a mom of 4 who puts herself last and walked out feeling like the most important, rejuvenated person walking the earth. Hadassa made my experience so peaceful and relaxing, she also made me laugh a lot and truly cared about how I felt through out the entire process. I went to Love 518 Salon because my hair was severely matted and tangled. Hadassa (the owner) is amazing! I had been watching her detangling videos on YouTube and Instagram for months, and I was so impressed with her work and hoped that she could help me, too. Over the course of 3 days and over 19 hours, Hadassa did a hair detox process, detangled my hair, colored my hair, and did a keratin treatment. Not to brag, but my hair is so pretty!Hadassa was so patient and non-judgmental. I am so grateful to her for helping to give me back my confidence and for her encouragement. Her assistant Marleen is wonderful, too. I live in Ohio, but if I lived closer, I would definitely be a regular client. This salon is a life saver!!! I needed services for my hair that I thought I would never be able find and then I came across some of her youtube videos. Hadassa is absolutely wholesome and full of tranquil energy and vibes. It felt nice to be treated as an individual and not just a head of hair and her level of empathy and compassion as a professional stylist is top tier. You dont find stylists like her nowadays with her level of patience, compassion, and lack of judgement (especially this one). I traveled to her from out of state and it was worth it. I left feeling spiritually refreshed with some added confidence in myself that I didnt have because of my hair. She took her time letting me know what was happening each step of the way. I suggest booking in advance. If you have a hair situation or need your hair as well as a sense of peace tended to without worrying about being judged or having to deal with the usual salon headaches, go to Love 518.

I highly recommend the detangling service offered at this salon. I was there with a male friend with long hair. There were two women working on his hair sometimes at the same time, sometimes trading off. They were both pleasant, polite to both of us and compassionate about his situation, not condescending or judgmental. They told us they have worked with over 300 people prior, that is impressive.They clearly know what they are doing and how to approach the problem. They start each day with a detox treatment. They then began the detangling. They never stood there wondering what to do next. They are very methodical, and after they detangle a section they braid or twist it to protect it in the meantime.We had been to another stylist previously. She had no idea what she was doing. It was extremely painful, and she often went back over areas she had already done. She had no idea how to approach the actual matted part. We wasted a lot of time, money, and heartache.This was much less painful than what he had experienced previously. He did take a painkiller every morning before they started as they suggested.I find their work is noble. Helping people with a problem that most people can’t begin to understand or fix, and one that the person is embarrassed about. I hope they expand as they told us how there are people from other areas and countries that have reached out to them.If you are thinking about going to this salon for detangling, go. Book the trip. You will be glad you did. Don’t wait. You will be happy to have it behind you.

I can see she is an amazing person and an amazing stylist without ever actually meeting her. Go support this business. Hadassa is by far one of the most talented, honest, and responsible hair professionals I have ever met. Not only to her clients but everyone around her. I can also express that her talent has taken my hair to a whole other level. I need Japanese Straightening in order for me to feel comfortable in my hair (frizzy, thick, wavy with no form, and TONS of it lol) and Hadassa does it to perfection. On top of it all, she provides good care and maintenance recommendations for your hair to look as natural as possible while taking the necessary precautions to not over-process the hair nor damage it. 100% recommend!!! Love, 518 Salon blends superb customer service coupled with a wonderfully relaxing ambiance. Moreover, for years I have been on a quest to find a hairdresser that devotes just as much time to hair care as they do to hair styles. Thankfully, Hadassa is exactly the master stylist I was looking for! She initially provided a consultation and actually paid attention to to my concerns. My hair was damaged and had to be chopped off to start anew. Hadassa has taken the time to expose me to different hair alternatives while my hair grows back; these are alternatives that I would have never considered if she didn’t thoroughly explain the benefits. More importantly, Hadassa helped chart a clear path for my hair journey so unlike the past I feel confident about the growth process this time around.

I walked into Love 518 Salon needing a haircut and received MUCH MORE! Hadassa has a great intake process in which she sets time aside to ask questions about you and your hair. The fun truly began with the most Relaxing wash ever. Dimmed lights, meditation music, essential oils being diffused in the room and a fantastic head massage. Hadassa recommended an anti-frizz treatment which I easily said yes to after our intake conversation. The results speak for themselves, see pic. My hair is brilliant and healthy. Thank You Hadassa.
