    Ive been getting my hair done by Debbie for the past 30+ yrs. I love the care and attention that she has given to me. She doesnt believe that everyones hair type is created equal and wont perform what she feels isnt good for your hair. A true hair artist.

    The service was exceptional I received a silk press with a trim and steam treatment. My appointment started and ended promptly and I am very satisfied with the results. I am natural and have never had a silk press last so long approx. 3 weeks would have been longer but I just had to get back on my peloton couldn’t take it any longer lol If your looking for a place to truly take care of your hair, and teach you right from wrong this is the place for a journey of healthy hair. These ladies truly know what they are doing.

    I visited this salon a couple weeks ago while in town from Atlanta. Everyone was super sweet. The sweet girl that did my shampoo did an amazing job. My silk press was done so well and it’s still holding up. Will be my go to place whenever I’m in town.

    Lovely mother and daughter duo. They are very knowledgeable, welcoming and do an amazing job with my daughter’s thick curly hair. Whenever I am there, I notice that every client walks out with gorgeous, shiny and healthy looking hair. We have become repeat customers and will continue our regular visits. My daughter absolutely loves their silk press. Highly recommend!

    I have known Debbie and Nakia for many, many years! Debbie became my Hairstylist in 1987….A total of 37 years! I’ll stand up and tell the world….THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO ONE LIKE THEM!     Ive visited Serenity Hair and Spa several times and I can say I have found my spot. Both stylist are personable and knowledgeable. My hair has easily reverted back after each silk press (which last for 4 weeks). This has never been the case with other stylist Ive gone to and this goes to show that they are providing quality work. The salon environment is welcoming and I wish I would have become a client years ago. Congrats on the new space!

    Ms. Debbie is great. She knows so much about natural hair care and maintenance. Before I started coming here, I hadn’t gone to a salon in YEARS.     Phenomenal work! I have been coming to Serenity Hair & Spa for the past few months, and it is always an amazing experience! Nakia does my relaxer, and honestly, there is no one else that I would let even touch my hair now! She has been able to support me in keeping my hair healthy with their dandruff treatments and hair steaming - every time I come she always comments on how great my hair is doing, and as a woman that has been getting relaxers for the past 20 years, I definitely need it! I told her I was interested in trying color and she has truly BLESSED my head of hair - I am getting highlights and am working my way up a full head of colored hair. Not everyone can managed relaxed hair and color, but Serenity Hair & Spa does a fantastic job in making that happen! 10/10 would recommend!

    I have been going to this salon for a couple of years now and I highly recommend both ladies for their service, professionalism and extensive knowledge of both chemically treated and naturally curly hair. I started going to them after another hair stylist damaged my relaxed hair and The Serenity Hair and Spa worked on my hair until it was healthy and long again. Then I decided I wanted to stop relaxing my hair. I was so nervous but they helped me during the transition process, carefully treating my hair until it was time to do the big chop. Now my natural hair is long and healthy. They always give advice that is healthy for my hair and their new products DMonet Essentials, that only contain clean ingredients, do wonders for my hair! I highly recommend them. Thank you Ms Debbie and Nakia!

    I had an absolutely amazing experience at Serenity Hair and Spa, I am so glad I found them. It was my first time going, and they completely changed my experience of getting my hair done! They were very professional, sweet, welcoming and they SLAYED MY HAIR. This is my new spot and I won’t be going anywhere else ! I have never been so happy with the way my hair looks, they took time on my hair and made sure it was perfect, my hair looks silky, luscious, thick and it’s the perfect length. At my previous salon I would always be unhappy with my hair not staying straight, but at serenity hair and spa they completely impressed and blew me away with how perfect my hair came out, it has never been this straight and silky, and then they wrapped it after so that it would stay in place. 10/10 and I will be back!     I needed my hair done rather quickly for graduation photos. Being that Im not from this area, I dont have a stylist here. I found this location on Instagram and reached out to them for a last minute appointment. Luckily they were able to fit me in and I am very pleased with the service I received. The stylists were not only courteous and professional, they were also very personable which made for good conversations throughout the appointment. My stylist was open and honest about what needed to be done to my hair and she explained everything she was going to do prior to doing it. My silk press and style were done beautifully. Overall it was a good experience and I will definitely return in the future.

    Don’t think twice… go! Hair care is their #1 priority and honestly these days it’s really hard find. They’re also extremely professional, also very hard to find these days.     28 years of quality service. Started out with Debbie who can turn a full roller set into a fantastic wrap that make you shake your hair every step you take. My hair was never healthy until I began coming the Serenity. I even transitioned to natural after see how beautiful Debbie’s hair was. It took awhile to take that leap, but I’m glad I did. But I had to then leave Debbie and start letting Nikia do my hair because this young lady is the guru of natural hair styles and keeping your natural hair healthy. But, who did she learn from? Of course, her mom Debbie. Nikia has been doing my hair since she was 10 year of age. From washing, to wrapping and now a master stylist herself. Even throughout the year I have taken breaks(no longer than 3 month) and back I go because no one else or myself can give me the satisfaction I receive from getting my hair done at Serenity Hair and Spa. This is a life king bound that can’t be broke. From friends to family is what you became. No Greater experience. 28 and counting!!

    Nakia and Ms. Deb are such a light! I go to them for my silk press and trim. They are so professional and walk you through all the steps. They care about your natural hair and present you with the tips and tools to keep your hair healthy. I am tender headed and they are very gentle, patient and accommodating. Even with this Florida humidity my straightened hair last LONG. Highly recommend!

    Amazing service! I’ve been coming to Debbie for a few years now and I can’t say enough great things about her skill, attention to detail, and energy. She makes my hair appointment an experience. She is also very efficient and makes every effort to be available (even when I ask for an appointment the day before/day of). I highly recommend her and Serenity in general for all your hair needs. They are leaders in black hair, natural hair, and offer some of the best hair products on the market for sale.

    This salon is great for natural hair. I get the braid down shampoo and blow out treatment and it is usually about 2 hours from start to finish given any other clientele or situations. Ms Debbie and Nakia are both licensed and they do a thorough job detangling the hair so dont be alarmed if you went to YouTube university like me lol. Book with these ladies and make sure to clear your schedule so you can be leisurely and enjoy without any time constraints in case its a popular/busy day

    I came to this salon with excessive dry, natural hair and Nakia has nurtured my hair to its full potential. My hair has grown, shows luster and moisture. The treatments provided are always under th guidance of my hairstylist with my best interest. Most off all i had a silk press which i did not have heat damage. Also, when my hair was washed my hair went back to its natural curls. I highly recommend their services.

    First of all I want to start by saying Ms.Debbie had a very welcoming spirit ,she greeted me and made sure i felt welcomed . This is my first time coming to ms.Debbie and I got a virgin relaxer + trim and it came out beautifully. Her hand were handmade by God. By the end of the service I gained mother in Christ , a brother and a family. it’s not only a salon but it’s a ministry. I was invited to church and Bible study. My real purpose of going to the salon was to received a word from God through his people .     I went in to get service on my transitioning hair, unsure of what to do. Nakia was very patient with me and listened to my concerns. She provided her professional opinion, gave me details on what she can do, and put me at ease, knowing that what I decided to do is the best option for my damaged hair. I was so thankful and appreciative because I’ve never really had a stylist listen to me and care for my hair the way she did. Nakia was kind and gentle on my hair, even telling me that it may hurt while detangling.     I had a traumatic salon experience years ago and I have been afraid to let any stylist touch my hair since. However, my hair was broken, damaged and in need of professional care. After, literally, months of stalking their Instagram page I finally decided to take the plunge and I am so happy I did. Ms. Deb and Nakia were very nice, gentle, explained every part of the process for me. My silk press and trim came out amazing!!! Also, while I was there I saw other styles they were doing such as a relaxer and twist outs and their finished look turned out great and everyone’s hair looked really healthy.     Ok ok ok. So it’s the walk in for me. The suite is so inviting and cute. The ladies were warm as hospitable. After a long week this was soooo needed. The space is very clean.     How much fun did I have here, I mean where do I start. My hair was blessed, relaxer, trim, treatment done beautifully (lasted months after and being a mommy this was needed) my day at salin was great got my hair done for my upcoming baby shower and was so lucky to have the experience that i had.     When I say this was the best experience I’ve had in a very, very long time getting my hair done. I went in for a deluxe silk press service about two weeks ago. I had recently combed out my locs and desperately needed someone to take care of my hair. I waited to do my review because I wanted to give my hair time to see how well it would do. I’m so happy with the results, with the service providers, with the environment. Miss Deb and her staff are absolutely wonderful. I had such a relaxing experience. It was not just me getting my hair done. It was a reset. Finding a beauty salon that provides the kind of service that you’re used to is difficult. I am so grateful that I found Serenity hair and spa. 10/10I’m so excited for my next appointment!
