    I must say this was a great experience for me! Haven’t had my hair braided by someone in years. The ladies were so pleasant and welcoming. I was 30 minutes late and they were very professional and gave me grace. My hair is looks amazing. I will definitely drive 40 minutes again to get serviced by this establishment! Thank you! ❤️❤️

    I got Senegalese twist done. Started my hair on time, no delay. Made me feel comfortable & constantly asked if I was okay or needed anything. 10/10 all of my twist are the same size, hair is very full, I am satisfied!

    Soo thankful for African Classic braids coming through for me for my birthday. NK and her staff were able to accommodate their schedule around my busy schedule. I was out of the shop in about 3 hours and 30 minutes getting small waist length boho knotless. Thats unbelievable ! I love the teamwork and precise work ethic they all presented. I will be returning soon for more braids. Ive received so many compliments already. I would also include that the whole staff performed a serenade with the Happy Birthday song and wish me many blessings for the year. My heart was so full.

    I came in to get Knotless braids, wanted them medium size but Achol said the bigger braids will be heavy on my head. When Achol finished my hair I like the way it looked. Thanks Achol and NK for the experience.

    I absolutely love my hair!!!! Senegalese twist for the win! The customer service was phenomenal, the price was right, and atmosphere was great!! I definitely recommend any and everyone go here you will not be disappointed!!!

    The ladies at the shop were very friendly and helpful since I havent had my hair braided in years. She asked what I wanted and she made it come to life. I love my hair and have received compliments. I was able to sleep without any migraines or discomfort.

    Im so happy with my braids!! Today they do an excellent job with my hair, it was a huge challenge because my hair is short and it has a different texture than what they are used to. I really appreciate your great work. Everyone were super nice and attentive. Ill go back for sure.

    Been here several times since moving to Jax. I’m always scared of getting my edges snatched or having a headache for a week haven’t had that problem that’s why I keep coming back. they are very nice ladies clean shop, & neat work. I don’t think they are pricey but maybe I’m used to paying $150+ for good quality hair n products included! they work w all hair textures from perm to 4c

    I love African Classic braids! The environment is comfortable and clean. Normally it takes a long time to get my box braids done, but the shop has a great energy to it so I don’t mind being there at all. NK ensures that any hairstyle a customer gets, is perfect. And she handles customers well. Every seat gets sanitized before a customer sits in it and after they get up; and mask are required. So I never feel unsafe when I’m there. I have been going to African Classic for about two years now and will always highly recommend it. You will not be disappointed!

    I love my knotless box braids styled by NK!!! She accepted me in as a walk in same day and got my hair done quickly! I’m new here to Florida so I’m happy to find a good and reliable hair stylist! I will definitely be a returning customer and refer her to all my friends!

    I called same day needing my hair done for my birthday the following day (forgot the day due to working so much). She came back to her building just to do my hair for my big day. My hair was absolutely beautiful. I was so pleased at how it looked so much like the photo. Oh and I can not leave out the young ladies were a delight to be around. They were gentle with my hair which is super sensitive, as the hair washing almost put me to sleep. It was amazing. She even texted the next day to wish me a happy birthday and made sure my butt left work on time to enjoy my day. Ive gotten so many compliments everywhere I go. Thank you so much for all you done for me.

    I got my hair in the twist for the first time NK was great she didn’t pull and she was courteous enough to ask if the twist was to tight it was my 50th birthday and I was beautiful

    NK and her staff were very professional, funny, beautiful, kind hearted and I could go on for days. I can in at the last minute and due to a cancellation I was taken. I had gotten Micros that their main concern was them not being to tight on my head or around my edges and they only took five hours. If I could give them a ten I would. Thank you beautiful ladies!

    First off, this was my first time attending the shop but I’m soooo glad I did. NKay made my experience worth every bit of what I asked for. I showed her a photo of the hairstyle I wanted and she slayed it too the tee. NKay is very upbeat, professional, and very gifted at what she does. One thing I love is the fact that she was very gentle on my edges(which is important when getting your hair braided). The shop was very clean and neat upon my arrival which shows how much they value cleanliness. I highly recommend anyone seeking braids, to try this shop because you won’t be disappointed.     NK did my cornrows yesterday and I love it. She and her staff were very nice and professional. Shop is very clean....including the restroom which is a huge plus for me. I also noted that NK washed her hands in between and before touching each clients hair!!!

    (Can look at my profile picture for a glimpse of style NK did for me) My name is Rosie from Chicago originally i became a licensed hair stylist here in Jacksonville. I called about 7 braiding salons. They all asked me to text the picture of the style I would like done. 5 of them never responded back to me after I sent them the picture. Only one beside African Classic Braids responded back Eloquent African Hair Braiding. Whoever I spoke to she would not reveal her name. She started to give me the quote of $300 even though that is extremely over priced I did not reveal to her I am a licensed hair stylist so I wanted to test her heart I asked her when she would be available she said she was fully booked for weeks. So I told her that is fine if it is a month or two months in the future when can I set appointment. Then she finally admitted she could not do the style I desire. I contacted African Classic Braids and spoke to Ms NK she reviewed the picture of my desired hair style. She said she could create that style or something very similar. She spoke with absolute confidence reassurance kindness patience authority and professionalism. I am ABSOLUTELY satisfied with her work. Her hands is anointed by God she was very gentle she did not braid my edges too tight. My husband loves it. I have been getting complimented practically by everyone I encounter. I wish I knew how to post pictures to show you how close she perfected the exact style that I wanted you would think she is the original creator of the style. Im so impressed and happy to leave this very long honest to God review. The price was extremely reasonable. She has now been made my personal braid stylist.     Afrikan Classic is the ONLY shop that I will allow tobraid my hair. The staff are very professional & courteous. The owner NK has braided my hair on numerous occasions & has NEVER done a terrible job. She is a perfectionist & my hair shows it! Her prices are very reasonable; not to mention her service is impeccable along with her work. I receive many compliments on my hair. This will be the ONLY braiding shop I let touch my hair!
